Be realistic and do not expect much. The river is nice tho.

Wir haben uns in der Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist groß, das Wasser ist frisch und die Aussicht wunderschön. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist einfach, aber gut. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert prima. Die Aussicht auf den Fluss war berauschend. Die Betreiber der Anlage waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. 150 m weiter war die Fähre die zum Nationalpark führt. Ideal. Würde ich wieder buchen.

I contacted the lodge in late November to book for 2-3 nights a week in advance, and knowing from travel blogs how difficult getting to Cat Tien National Park can be, I asked them for travel/transport advice. The response? Dead silence. Consequently, I missed out on Cat Tien NP unfortunately (but fortunately Green Bamboo Lodge), as there were too many unknowns about getting there and away.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Amazing location. Sitting in the hammock by the river made me fall in love with Vietnam. Stylish and clean room - my only grumble would be that there was a slight gap in my toilet window so moquiteos could get in. Really close to Cat Tien National Park entrance so loads to do in the local area. Brilliant swimming pool. Yes, definitely stay here in Nam Cat Tien. Hope you hear some gibbons! Thank you to all of the staff for putting up with our awful Vietnamese ❤️

We stayed at the Green Bamboo lodge for 5 nights, so I can say we have truly been in this lodge. It is a good place to stay while you are exploring Cat-Tien National Park. What I really liked about the accomodation is that it really gives you a wild feeling, there are some geckos walking around on the walls outside and inside your accomodation, and with heavy rains, you can find the occasional frog in your bathroom. A true jungle experience! The view on the river is amazing, we spotted 5 species of kingfisher just from the balcony of our lodge and we also saw some hornbills and parrots crossing the river. The swimming pool of the place is rather unique, as it consist of several pools connected by water flowing from the highest to the lowest pool. In the lowest pool, you are still pretty high up and you have a nice view on the jungle from there too. The lodges were clean for jungle lodges, with that I mean that you will encounter the occassional insect or small animal in your room, but once again, this is a jungle resort, do not go here if you cannot handle this. The restaurant of the lodge is great and serves a good breakfast and has an elaborate dinner menu. We ate here almost everyday and enjoyed the view on the park from the rivers edge. The personnel speaks English and is really friendly. All in All a good place to stay for your Cat-Tien Jungle experiences.

The staff at Green Bamboo Lodge were very kind and generous. My partner and I fell sick just before arriving and the staff really helped us out - they went into town to get medication for us and kept checking in to see if we were ok. It's a really lovely location and very well priced. Highly recommend.

Room and restaurant right next to the river. The view from our balcony is very peaceful. Mosquito is annoying but youre in a jungle so yeh.. Very easy to get to the national park ( just cross the river). Highly recommended for backpackers like us

The staff were amazing! Very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Staff went above and beyond to facilitate the activities in the national park. The food was delicious and the room was clean and spacious. Beds were big and comfy with many pillows.

I had a wonderful experience at Green Bamboo Lodge! The place is really beautiful - the bungalows are very authentic and you really feel surrounded by nature. That is quite an amazing experience - especially at night when you can listen to all the animals. The family who runs the place is lovely and helped me out with everything - booking tours, arranging transfers and they even provided leech socks (most important when you are in the jungle!) There is also a good restaurant in-site. I had a fantastic time here and would recommend everyone to go - Ca Tien is definitely worth a visit if you are travelling Vietnam!
