Ma&Mi for You B&B

It‘s a beautiful property and the woman that greeted us was extremely helpful. The problem we had was with whoever makes the breakfast in the morning. He was rude and unfriendly so we left with having breakfast

From the moment we pulled into the parking lot outside the building of ‘B&B Ma&Mi For You’ in Cefalu, until the moment we left we were shocked, disappointed and quite frankly said we felt we were shafted considering what we paid, and what we got. Let’s start with the outside of the building, the hallway and the entrance to ‘B&B Ma&Mi For You’, look like the slums, there is not better, nor other words to aptly describe them. But even in the slums there is (some) maintenance, here it looks as if this hasn’t been the case for a very long time. Loose tiles on the floors, broken lighting, filth and dirt all over, all-in-all surely not a way to receive guests. The rooms, albeit spacious had an off smell to them, were clearly not thoroughly cleaned, included hairs all over from previous visitors, as well as a shower-room where one could only stand safely whilst wearing slippers. Topped up with a shower that initially spewed some sort of sulphatic water into our faces, from a multiple shower-head jet washer that clearly has seen its best years (and I won’t even get into the non-clean status of this ‘shower’) left us utterly disgusted. And if you’re in need for an extra towel? They charge you for it! When we took one glimpse at breakfast, we decided to seek our start of the day outside of ‘B&B Ma&Mi For You’. What struck us most is that the pictures don’t even look half bad. What’s portrayed online however, via pictures and so forth, is certainly not what you get at ‘B&B Ma&Mi For You’, and quite frankly a huge disappoin**ent, in need of a serious overhaul of its setup, both on, and off-premises. Spend less on the marketing of this place, and more on the maintenance, if this is of importance that is! All-in-all, to our opinion, ‘B&B Ma&Mi For You’ = a big ‘stay away’!

Last minute booking for one night in Cefalu. Cute little place. The exterior and main lobby of the building looks like a forgotten office from the cold war. A tiny elevator takes you to the 4th floor where the B and B is located. You enter into a common area where they have a kitchen and breakfast facilities and the check-in area. My room was located on the far side of the common area and was big and spacious with a nice view of the ocean. Very quiet at night. The bathroom was small but functional. Perfect for a solo traveller overnight. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Bonus was the free parking lot...a rarity in Italian seaside towns! I arrived at two in the afternoon and found a spot right away. Short walk into town and the beaches. Cefalu is very cute. Wished I could have spent another day here.

Wonderful place with a breathtaking view. Staff were excellent. I would definitely return there.

Very kind and welcoming staff, modern and comfortable room, great location very near the historical center and an extensive, tasty breakfast. Parking was right in front and free; there's a lot of turnover in the lot so you rarely have to wait long (we didn't have to wait at all). Nadia and Mirko were great. We loved this place, and Cefalu' is a terrific little city to visit and spend some time in the area.

Great property with everything you need. About a 10 minute walk from the old town. Was very quiet, comfortable and clean. Management and staff were very friendly and we felt part of the family. Great breakfast with a wonderful variety of goodies, cereal, yoghurt, homemade fresh cakes, jams and breaky sandwiches. We loved it being Australian we loved a sandwich instead of sweat pastries every day. Would highly recommend, great value for money and great spot!

Confusion of arrival time conditions! not accommodating! disappointed...

Nice place and friendly people. But you cannot be sure to get free parking as the free parking they tell you to use is public. We waited 20-30 minutes for a spot.

Chambre très agréable et pratique. Manque juste de porte manteaux. La literie est très confortable . Personnel super sympa. Et le p'tit dej' au top ; copieux, bon, tout est fait maison. Niveau localisation c'est parfait, accès rapide pour aller dans le centre historique.
