If you’re looking for city life luxury with jet tubs, surround sound and massage chairs this home isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a true cabin getaway with just the right amount of comfort and lots of outdoor adventure look no further!The famous heard of Elk regularly lounge behind our home and can usually be seen several times a day lounging and grazing. Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin can comfortably sleep 6 with space for up to two more on the pull out couch. The entire cabin is 1,000 square feet. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen bed. There is a TV in the back bedroom and a large TV in the living room. Both are smart TVs and we are equipped with WiFi so you can log into your favorite app for movie night. We have newly installed central air. Enjoy some outdoor games (Cornhole, Jenga, Connect 4) in the backyard while the elk visit just beyond the chain link fence or spend your days hiking, off-roading, or enjoying the local markets and restaurants. We have a barbecue grill with propane tank. The front porch is a peaceful haven with a swing and couch. There is plenty of parking if you arrive in multiple cars. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to use any durable goods you find in the cupboards. Note - We do not have an ice maker or filtered water on tap. The dirt driveway is equipped with 30 amp and 50 amp plugins for an RV if you prefer separate living quarters with your guests however please note the driveway is steep and somewhat tight at the bottom. It takes an experienced operator and often 4 wheel drive to back a trailer or camper in. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Any vehicle will be fine for regular parking, 4 wheel drive is only needed for trailer parking.Dogs are welcome for a fee of $25 but we ask that you clean up after them. The backyard is fully enclosed by a chainlink fence to keep you fur family safe. There is an additional $50 fee for uncollected doggy doodoo. We also ask that you not leave them unattended in order to prevent any damage to our home or furnishings.The indoor fireplace shown in the photos is not operational. It does not vent properly and WILL fill the house with smoke. We have central heat and a back up gas furnace in case of power outages.No smoking in the home or backyard. Take special note of the fire restrictions during your stay which vary throughout the seasons.Note that we have a ring doorbell at the front door facing the street and a camera in the backyard facing the yard for security. Ord to the south. Completed in 2007, this 2,350 sq/ft home has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a full kitchen including, a microwave, dishwasher, pantry, and double ovens. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, as well as the kitchen, dining area, and family room. In addition, downstairs there is a second master suite with a queen bedroom set, an ensuite bath with a stall shower and direct access to an outdoor patio. There is also a full laundry room including a mud room accessible from the garage downstairs. The garage is 1,000 sq/ft and is attached with parking for one car/truck. There is a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. The garage doors are 10 feet high so they can accommodate a large truck. There are four TVs in total with DISH network. The primary suite has an ensuite bath (with a bathtub, shower, toilet & double sinks) and a sliding door that accesses the wrap around deck. The primary suite also includes a large flat panel TV with a DVD player. There is a large, stone-faced wood-burning fireplace in the family room upstairs. The kitchen and family room are open concept with comfortable seating, a leather couch, a 2 chair loveseat and one recliner, a dining table that seats 8 and a pub table that can expand to seat an additional 4. The pub table also doubles as a puzzle table and is in front of the floor to ceiling chalet windows that capture the amazing views. The cabin is situated on a 1.5 acre terraced, hillside lot in a small subdivision of custom homesites called Pine Mountain Acres. The property is located above Pine Creek and looks down on White Oaks Glen. It is an area that is traversed by deer and elk on their way to and from the creek. Large and small herds in the area come right across the property, especially in the morning and late afternoon/dusk. Additional cleaning and disinfecting procedures are taken for the safety of our guests.
