Try to imagine for a second, a hotel room with: Three bedrooms, each with a double bed, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a washing machine, located high up 40 floors, lake view, and even a tea corner. What do you think such a room should cost for a night? Well, I don't know about you, but for me it certainly wasn't the 300 yuan we paid. The location is not far away from the attractions either, it takes a quick 15 minute cab ride to hot spot night markets like Tai Ping street and 20 minutes to Orange Island. I think that's all that's needed to be said to convince anyone to stay here. But what's the catch? Sounds too good to be true right?
Well, there really isn't one, but allow me to nitpick. 1) The provided kitchen basically only includes 2 stove tops, a kettle, and a fridge. No cookware or utensils provided. 2) Only one of the 2 bathrooms has a shower. 3) The furniture generally feels cheap. 4) The windows need cleaning.
For the price there really isn't anything to complain about. Highly recommended at this price point. This is hands down, by far, the best valued accomodation I've ever stayed at.
Downstairs there are many local restaurants to choose from as well as a few convenience stores available. It is also located right at the subway exit although the hotel entrance may be a bit confusing to find.
