We had a fantastic time at 22 Charlotte. Ms. Vaughan was an extremely helpful host! She suggested great stops during our trip, supplied us with towels for our beach trip, and made out of this world breakfast. We can’t wait to suggest this fantastic bed and breakfast to all of our friends and family. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!

Beautiful historical home in Charleston. Walking distance to food and shops. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Lovely home that much detail and attention was put into. Decadent. Great breakfast! Knowledgeable and accommodating host Ms Vaughann. She even gave us a ride and a mini tour of Charleston. Do be aware that there is no shower but instead a bathtub, which if you have the right mind set is nice and forces you to relax! There also two little kitties that roam the house and are very nice!

This B&B was just as advertised and so much more! Our visit started by mistakenly getting there a day earlier than we were supposed to. Vaughan was surprised to see us but immediately began making arrangements to have our room cleaned and prepped. By the time we got back from supper, the room was ready. Parking is on site and you can walk or Uber anywhere you want to go. One of our favorite things to do was having our morning coffee and afternoon drinks on the amazing porch overlooking the historic neighborhood. You are literally in a neighborhood where people walk, ride bikes and go about their daily routines. The room is amazing, the house is amazing, the breakfast Vaughan cooked for us every morning was delicious and filling. Ms. Alsbrook represents all the best Charleston has to offer. She cares about her house, her guests and the town where she calls home.

We had a wonderful stay at 22 Charlotte. The accommodations and breakfasts were outstanding, and Vaughan made us feel very much at home -- she's a warm and gracious host who knows the city and its best places to visit inside and out. The location, too, is excellent -- in walkable distance of every museum, restaurant, and other site we wanted to visit in the historic district. We're grateful to have chosen this gem for our first stay in Charleston.

We had a lovely experience at 22 Charlotte. Ms. Vaughn was very attentive to our needs and gave us excellent advice about walking, restaurant recommendations, and enjoying Charleston in general. Every morning, she served a home-cooked delicious Southern breakfast, which we thorough enjoyed. Highly recommend this delightful B&B as an alternate to a typical hotel stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vaughan's lovely home in Charleston. She was very welcoming and helped us to get a real understanding of what is meant by “Southern hospitality”. Every morning she provided a wonderful breakfast and was always available to provide lots of tips and advice about what to do and see. This was our first visit to Charleston. Vaughan sent detailed recommendations for restaurants and sights as soon as we completed our booking and I am so glad I read and followed those. Based on her information, we made reservations at our desired restaurants well in advance. We ate at 82 Queen (do NOT miss the She Crab Soup) and SNOB (Scallops were incredible). Vaughan's home is the epitome of true beautiful Southern charm and we felt welcomed from the beginning. Our bed was extremely comfortable and our private bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. Not a detail was overlooked. Even her sweet cats made us feel welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and our evening conversations were entertaining and lively. She also gave us a private tour filled with history and information that I can't imagine we'd have gotten any other way. She was the ultimate hostess and I strongly encourage anyone heading to Charleston to visit her!

A great stay in Charleston. Fabulous and gracious host (Ms. Vaughn) who has a wealth of Charleston knowledge. 2 beautiful and friendly cats. Breakfast time was special each day. Easy walk to everywhere in downtown Charleston. Take advantage of the location and the hospitality! What a wonderful weekend, we'll be back for sure.

The stay was an absolute delight. The host provided breakfast and the hospitality shown were amazing. The host was engaging and was well versed in the local history and attractions. The local view of history and information made the trip that much more enjoyable. I would stay again on my next visit.
