Very nice property, services are too good, It was my first visit, really I will recommend this hotel for all the travellers......stayed at this hotel during a motorcycle tour of Rajasthan in February 2024. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the history of Bijaipur. It’s a castle originally built in the 16th century which was converted into an exquisite heritage hotel in the early 1990s. Everything about the hotel – the luxurious rooms & grand verandas, gracefully-manicured grounds and all of the buildings and facilities - reflects the history and culture of Rajasthan, and the famous Rajput hospitality. You can even climb onto the old castle walls (via a stairway) which will evoke a slight sense of what life may have been during the early history of the castle! As a base for motorcycle touring around the area, the hotel was a pleasant and peaceful haven, which gave us glimpses into a bygone epoch and the extensive history of Bijaipur. Read less

We had previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was wonderful place to return to . We were not disappointed and neither were our friends who were there for the first time. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was 3! The staff were very accommodating, even offering us an evening drive in the countryside and sunset tea by a lake and jeep safari . Evening drinks and nibbles by the fire in the courtyard was lovey and the food was great too. Even though it was winter we enjoyed a swim in the pool. For our final breakfast the staff offered us s table by the pool (instead of the restaurant) which was a lovely experience.

Old hotel, rooms in shambles. No hot water, showers jammed. Bathrooms have no shower curtains so the whole bathroom stays flooded after your shower. However food was good and staff were very cooperative, went out of their way to serve us a very early morning breakfast.
