Akra Fethiye Tui Blue Sensatori - Ultra All Inclusive

What a fabulous resort! Settled along a beach, this adults-only resort is all about the water, with oceanside dining, a spa, restaurants and more. The restaurants are really good, we enjoyed every meal. The advice is to book some of them way ahead of time. Staff is very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Rooms are clean and has everything you could need on a vacation.

My expectations were high following my online research about the residence and what can I say! They were exceeded! We stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of October and it was our first visit to Türkiye. It was absolutely amazing from the moment we stepped in to the lobby to check in until the moment we checked out. We booked a Lakehouse suite with terrace which for us was worth every penny. The room was huge and immaculately clean with one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. Lakehouse’s also come with butler service through the day with nothing being too much trouble. We also had a small terrace with access to the lagoon style pool with private loungers and a fully stocked cool box by the side of our Lakehouse. The property is absolutely spotless though out and the attention to detail is evident in the little touches here and there. The Residence has relaxed Spa type a**osphere and is so laid back and chilled. The staff are the biggest asset everyone we spoke to was so warm and friendly and contributed to the relaxed a**osphere. Special mention to the super bartender Ramazan and the staff at the Cuphea outdoor bar. Ramazan was first class making the best cocktails we had at the resort always smiling, recommending different things to try and teaching us a little Turkish phrases. Amazed at the amount of Baby Guinness he was able to turn around they were popular! I also liked the infused gins and vodkas used to create bespoke cocktails there really was something for everyone. The entertainment is in the form of live music 6 nights a week which was really enjoyable. Our personal favourites were Focus Acapella and Cem Moreno band. Food was delicious also with different themes each night. The food was so good that we didn’t really take up much of the offerings at the Sensatori next door which you also have full access to. We also booked a cabana for the day which was a nice experience. With the town of Fethiye nearby you can jump a taxi or book the water taxi which runs daily with the market being on a Tuesday. We lucked out with the weather as we were told it can rain quite a bit at the end of October but it was 28 degrees every day although chilly at night. From our experience here I can totally understand why people return every year it really is that good.

The staff truly define the experience at this hotel, offering exceptional 5-star service. However, our room did not quite meet expectations set by previous reviews. Despite requesting a quiet room, we were placed next to the service elevator, which was frequently used by staff for transporting bottles and cleaning supplies, disrupting our sleep in the early morning and relaxation time in the afternoon. While the food was enjoyable, the room's condition and noise level made us feel that there might be better value options in the area. Perhaps our experience was just a case of getting a less desirable room.

Me and my partner stayed in a swim up room last September. From the moment we were greeted in the lobby with a chilled glass of fizz , everything was perfect. The room was immaculate, the food was divine and the staff were second to none. The swim up room is definitely worth the extra money. On day two of our holiday we booked to come back this year & it can't come soon enough! The mini bar is well stocked with beers, wine and spirits. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed and complimentary bath oils/salts replaced. We highly recommend!

Couldn't fault the staff, service, and cleanliness. Attention to detail was exceptional. Rooms were lovely, and drinks were topped up each day with chocolate bars and snacks which were a real treat. We did miss a bidet in the bathroom though. Great bed, and pillow menu. Food and drink plentiful, and the allergy symbols made a huge difference. Loved the chocolate shop in reception, and nothing was too much for the staff who were so accommodating. Only issues for us was the area. Nowhere to stroll and you need a taxi to go anywhere. Cabanas were expensive, and as I'm highly allergic to cats, I'm not too fond of them around the hotel grounds. All in all though, I would recommend if you want to be spoilt, but it's an expensive place given where the hotel is located.

We have just returned from this absolutely amazing hotel, The rooms are absolutely stunning, generous in size and spotless with everything you could possibly need, including bottles of spirits, wine, stacked mini bar, snack drawer (all of this replenished daily) along with toiletries, hairdryer, straighteners and an iron. The maid keeps the room to a high standard and towels are replaced twice a day. The food and drinks are the best I have ever encountered within an all-inclusive hotel (and I have stayed at many 5* resorts). All meals are a la carte including breakfast and the drinks are all branded. The staff are the friendliest I have ever met, by the end of the holiday they felt like friends. I would like to give a special shout out to Caner in the Asmani restaurant and also the waitress Ceyda who made my proposal one I will never forget. Our restaurant waiter Bayrum who served us lunch and breakfast each day, he was amazing as was Ali and Habib who looked after us most evenings. A huge shout out to Vaysel in the lobby bar for the best cocktails ever and always with a smile and super efficient. All the staff at the lobby bar were also amazing but too many to mention personally. And finally the hotel manager Asli, who helped my fiance organise the most romantic proposal and went over and above to make it perfect for us. She does an amazing job in the hotel and the neighbouring Sensatori hotel - we cannot fault anything. So much so that we have booked again for next June.

We stayed here in July and booked a lake house suite (top floor) with a jacuzzi both on the balcony and in the bathroom. The room and facilities were simply stunning and the attention to detail was amazing. As reported by other guests the staff are so lovely and friendly. I’m vegan and there were some choices although bizarrely the lunchtime menus had more options than in the evenings. Each evening in the main restaurant there is a different theme. The hotel could improve the dining experience of vegans by adding some additional choices. My only gripe on the room was the lack of shade on the terrace. It was far too hot to sit out there and enjoy the late sun and although I asked for a parasol I was told this wasn’t possible. Other guests have mentioned the noise from the Cupea bar but we were far enough away not to hear it. Our neighbours were a bit inconsiderate playing music on their balcony (not something I would do as I wear headphones) but there’s not a lot you can do about it and I guess we were just unlucky. The majority of people were respectful and considerate and clearly just wanted to chill out. We would return here in a heartbeat

After reading all the amazing reviews, we were anxious about this hotel not living up to our expectations but we needn't have worried. One of the few places that I can say truly lives up to its star rating. Right from our airport pick up (private transfer through TUI) to the moment we left, every detail was spot on. Welcome champagne & chocolates, cases taken immediately to your room (with no expectation of a tip), great food, great entertainment (make sure you watch Focus Acapella ), great service (the staff literally can't do enough for you), lovely spacious room, clean pool towels in your room every day. One very minor thing to note - there is no shaver socket in the bathroom so if you're wanting to charge an electric toothbrush you'll need to bring an adaptor (or I believe they sell them at the shop next door). We would be back in a heartbeat ❤️ Special thanks to Mutlu, Emrah, İzet & Sefa for looking after us every day (and listening to me trying to talk Turkish ).

Having been to the sister hotel previously, we booked into The Residence when it first opened in 2019 and was absolutely blown away and immediately booked in again, COVID delayed that until this week and we’re gutted to say it’s a complete contrast to our first visit. The most noticeable difference is in the food; I don’t think there are very many items on the menus which match what is written. An example of this is in the photo’s from the Cuphea lunch menu which I’ve attached displaying the current menu, what we got served in 2019 and what has been served this week. A shocking difference. Furthermore there are various steak dishes of an evening dependant on the theme of the night which advertise different cuts of meat such as a fillet, tenderloin or Sirloin but you always get the exact same cut of thin tasteless ‘sizzle steak’ just in a different sauce. This is a common theme among most other types of meat as well this year - perhaps a cost saving exercise which hasn’t been passed onto the consumers? Both times we have stayed in the Lakehouse Suite which comes with a butler who will bring you drinks on request between 9am-6pm, in 2019 we were being brought drinks and treats every 30 mins on the dot, this time around we have been left waiting over 90 minutes for a drink, it was quicker to swim to the pool bar and get your own. This isn’t a huge issue in itself but renders the extra cost of the Lakehouse pointless. This is still on the whole a good hotel, with lots of staff who are mostly amazing but there is no reason to spend the extra money over the sister hotel anymore. We are only 4 days into our 11 day holiday and have already cancelled our planned visit for next year.
