We stayed in the smaller apartment for two nights at the end of a three week camper-van trip round Tasmania. We very much appreciated being able to drop off our luggage en-route to the van drop-off so we were just left with a daypack to carry around before formally checking-in later. What a lovely apartment, modern, spacious, subtly-lit, within an easily-manageable walking distance from the waterfront but in a very quiet neighbourhood. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay, not just for seeing more of Hobart itself, but also for just being able to relax a bit more at the end of our trip.

The garden of this hotel is spectacular. Breakfast is cooked to order. It tastes good and is exquisite in appearance. Although I read the reviews and received rave reviews, I have some opinions. It may be that they have different concerns. The overall feeling of the carriage suite I booked was not good. The platform stated that the room type is 108 square meters. I don’t know what the standard is. The overall internal space is very cramped. The two rooms upstairs are also small, with only one bed. The bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and living room downstairs are very full. There is basically no place to put luggage. The sanitary conditions are average. There is still plastic paper in the washing machine and the seals are not there. It was moldy and the dryer door was full of black hair balls, indicating that the hotel did not clean the washer and dryer after the previous guest left.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center. If there is a car, it is more convenient, but it is necessary to spit it out. July is their winter. The living room has an air conditioner but the heating is not very good. The dining room is miserable, there is no air conditioning, and the coat is in a hurry. After dinner, I went to the bedroom, but the three bedrooms had only one radiator, but the room was not too warm. The other two rooms had a radiator and one had no radiator. After many negotiations, the blanket was finally warmed. Waiting for the electrical appliances, I originally wanted to check out, but I saw that they were very good. I thought about the trouble of changing rooms. (To check out, you must say before 8:00, otherwise you will be able to enroll the next day.) I had a good night's sleep, I didn't expect to continually trip, power off, and half of the hot water was washed in the bath. I hurriedly wiped it with cold water. This is only 5 degrees in winter. I asked them to repair it many times, the electrician could do nothing, the wires were old, the walls of the house were thin, and the warmth was poor. At 11 o'clock in the evening, in order to guarantee the next few days, I decided to re-book the room and check out the next morning. Foreigners resolutely disagreed with the refund of the same room, even if they were not able to agree on their facilities, of course, the final result of Ctrip's mediation was satisfactory, so the partners of this hotel should consider it, they have no bedroom. Air-conditioned, no air conditioning in the summer, I think it is uncomfortable, but the scenery outside the house is good.

The old couple, Jeff & Julie, was very polite and knew that when I first came to Hobart, I took a map and introduced the surrounding environment and how to get to the main attractions. The hotel layout is very British and exquisite. One person has set a minimum room and is enough. Two people may need to be bigger.

It was a holiday weekend in Tassie, so most places were very expensive. I only stayed 2 nights. The bed was comfy. The room was big, it was clean. I was in an unrenovated room. I would say basic. I cut my time short and received a full refund, which was very honourable. I ate at the restaurant twice and It was great food and very reasonable prices. The hotel is on top of a pub. So prepare for stairs.

It is convenient for shopping in the city center, and it is also close to the cruise ship terminal. It is more distinctive and has public bathing and toilets.

The location is good, you can get off at sky bus stop 5 and walk there in 6 minutes. The rooms are satisfactory and will definitely allow visitors to have a good rest! It would be even better if the hotel has a buffet laundry service!

Hobart City Apartments is located right in the downtown shopping district of the city. You don't stay there for the view, but you are in the thick of things and still only a 12 minute walk to the harbor for endless choices of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. With notice and availability, they offer underground parking for $20.00 a night. Otherwise, there is night street parking and a couple of lots close by. Though this review focusses specifically on the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment where we spent 6 nights, 3 of us first spent 1 night in two large single rooms, while awaiting availability of the Penthouse apartment. Each large room included a king bed, with end tables and lamps, a wall mounted TV, and a seating area, plus a good sized bathroom with large walk in shower. These 1 bedroom units include a small kitchen with a mini fridge, and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. Suffice to say that both the single units and the Penthouse we stayed in, are beautifully and relatively recently decorated, and very comfortable. The Penthouse apartments are large and feel quite new, like the single units. Similarly they are well appointed, and nicely decorated, with lots of light. The upstairs consists of one bedroom, with a king bed, end tables, table lamps and a wall mounted TV, plus an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom space is tight which of course, can't be helped, and so there's minimal drawer storage though enough if you plan it out well. There's a wide, deep ledge in front of the window, so one of us used that to lay out clothes, and toiletries, while the other used the shelves in the closet and though we needed more hangers, there was enough hanging space for 2 of us. The suites are relatively new so having what felt like new bathrooms was a bonus. The upstairs bathroom has no counter space but under counter storage, a large shower and it's well designed. There is no door at the top of the stairs into that bedroom/bathroom, so if privacy is an issue, be prepared. The main floor houses a small kitchen, with a microwave, full fridge and stove, flat cooktop, plus dishwasher and just enough plates, cups, glasses and utensils to get by. Don't plan on cooking a big meal though. It's best for breakfast, and serving up take-away. The adjacent living space had a large, 'pleather' (ie: looks like but isn't leather) couch and matching chair and the flat screen TV is mounted on the wall beneath a media unit, and across from the couch so it's a pleasant place to sit. Behind the occasional chair, is a small dining table, seating 6, then a sliding door, and screen out to a large but unfurnished patio. It would be nice to offer up 4 outdoor chairs and a couple of small side tables to enjoy a cocktail. The 2nd bedroom on the main floor, is larger than the upstairs, and houses a Queen size bed, end tables, with lights, and a closet. There is no TV in that room; something else they should add. The front desk was very welcoming and the location was good. It was very close to the city center and it was only 5-6 minutes. I also sent a discount coupon for lunch, and the room was not as small as I expected.

A hotel where Muming came to live, the room was large, there was a refrigerator inside, there was a lot of food in it, all were paid for consumption, and it was difficult for me to buy a bottle of milk. The hotel is very close to the pier. The airport bus has a stop at the door. Ask the front desk for the departure time. It is very convenient to rush to the airport.
