Very satisfied choice! The hostess is very welcoming. The room and restaurant have all facilities, too complete, and very generous. There are all kinds of refreshments, tea bags, and all kinds of toiletries, including new toothpaste, toothbrushes, and razors (not disposable ) The quality is good, and it’s free. People who say they’re afraid of traveling forgot to bring it! Especially like the living room fireplace. This house cannot be said to be very new and luxurious, but it is very, very comfortable. For breakfast, the hostess will give her own baked croissants (delicious) and eggs for free! Walk 3-5 minutes to the beach, but there is no shopping, dining, suitable for self-driving, self-cooking, it is recommended!

Because the scenery is very good, I took my parents to stay for one night. More remote, the road is in good condition, but the curvature is very big, be careful when driving at night. This reservation does not include breakfast. But before I went to the wedding to have a breakfast, there were a lot of breakfast choices and the restaurant scenery was very good. Book a twin room, this type of room should not be able to have an extra bed Parking is available at the hotel entrance and below, free of charge. If you like the friends of the sunny sea, especially the quiet holiday that likes to stay away from the crowd, the first hotel

GGuest UserI had called 9 hotels prior to this booking searching for a suite option that allowed my mom and adult brother some privacy and no one being stuck on a pull out sofa. Chateau Victoria had a great layout option at half price of any alternatives I could find. In addition to that, the customer service agent I spoke with, Heidi, was a breath of fresh air to converse with. Unlike previous hotels I had called, Heidi asked logical, relevant questions, and listened and responded in a helpful manner to all inquiries that I had. She was knowledgeable, polite, and made booking a breeze. I will definitely book at this property again.

I initially booked the ”Petite Suite” which was just a bit too cozy for us (my fault - didn't read the details). Despite the busy time, the desk staff were incredibly gracious and worked to accommodate a swap to a larger room. Unfailingly helpful and polite - they made our stay. The actual Hotel is ridiculously charming and cozy, and ideally located within walking distance of various parks, pubs, restaurants, etc. When we come back to Victoria, we'll be at the James Bay Inn!

GGuest UserThis hotel in Saanichton has a Bavarian look. The staff are really friendly and willing to help. The hot deluxe continental breakfast is very good with the sausage, eggs and waffles. It also has great bran muffins with the whipped margarine but there is other kinds as well They have a variety of juices, yogurt and cereal along with tea/coffee. The rooms are quiet even with the highway right there. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities. The pub downstairs has great drinks and food, Wednesday wing night is a blast. Overall we had three people and we all enjoyed this hotel and would go again.

GGuest UserThis is such a fun hotel! It’s near some busy roads, a mall, and a bunch of restaurants and such, which I guess is nice, but it’s pretty noisy and you’re not going to get a great view from your room or anything.
BUT! Where to start? The rooms are clean. My kids and I loved the comic book, stickers, yo-yo, and rotary phone in our room. The hot tub is a little small, but guess what? You can soak in it and keep an eye on your kiddos as they enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and water slide!
Inside the lobby, you can find myriad board games, ping pong, “bowling,” Wii, and even old school typewriters in which you can pluck out that novel you’ve been keeping in the back of your head. The lobby Coffee is better than any in-room coffee another hotel might offer.
And speaking of the lobby, the staff here is 110%! I got what I thought was an automated text asking how my state was so far. I said “meh” because we had just checked in and I wasn’t impressed with the area. I got a response from a real person right away!She provided answers to my questions and concerns and even delivered earplugs and silverware and cups to my room later when I needed them! When I was teaching my kiddo how to use a typewriter, the front desk staff didn’t hover over us or anything, just let us do our thing.
Last, the little restaurant (open for breakfast and lunch) has a killer breakfast menu and such friendly staff!

GGuest UserAt first glance the hotel is appealing and welcoming. They may be experiencing a lack in staffing as very evident when checking in to be stuck in a very long line with 2 employees only at the desk for 3pm check in time. Of my 30 friends all attending the same NYE event, none got their rooms on time. I waiting until 4:30 pm for mine putting me behind and lost time to use any amenties ie pool etc., or for preparing for a 6pm start for the party with the appetizers. Appetizers were very limited as the buffett also was. very basic food, ie. a salad bun basket, pasta dish, potato surprise, and an overcooked beef hip at the end of the table. Desserts were very limited also. The bar was also understaff for the numbers attending. Very long lineups and $9 a drink was certainly too steep. Sure didn't feel like the $85 plus tax tickets worth. The saving grace for this event was the fantastic band and terrific crowd I was with to ring in the new year.

GGuest UserIt is not suitable for a family with kids. There is no bathtub. It is not really clean in bathroom. The indoor swimming pool is small.
