A nice hotel on the edge of the good and bad sections of town. We felt safe if we came in at a decent time. Security seems to come out in the evening. It is very centrally located to skyway, pier, Gastown and Canada place. Many restaurants close by. Very clean and updated.

The St. Regis is one of my favorite hotels. It is centrally located so that walking to venues, shopping and restaurants is easy and convenient. Our suite was clean, tidy, comfortable, and elegant. Even though our room looked out on Dunsmuir Street there was very little street noise. The hotel is quaint, elegant, yet comfortable and not fussy. The lobby is small, yet efficient. A small library is located between the business center and the lobby. The library chairs are comfortable, the room is light and bright thanks to the tall street-facing windows. Our room service experience was top notch - the food was hot and delicious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and hearty - servers were all pleasant and friendly. One of the most wonderful aspects of the St. Regis Hotel is the people who work there - Juan, Eduardo, Matt, Miguel, the housekeeping staff, breakfast waitstaff - all were friendly, courteous, accommodating, and approachable. I don't know when we will visit Vancouver again, but when that happens, I will stay at the St. Regis.

Granville Island is a great place for its public market, artisan shops and the lovely and convenient water taxis to help get around downtown Vancouver. The Hotel is perfectly located on the north end waterfront. The room was clean and comfortable although before checkout we saw that the bed skirt had something spilled on it by a prior guest. Also, the bed was uneven, with one side providing good support and the other was soft and led to a bad night’s sleep. Service at the hotel was good but the server at the restaurant was either inexperienced or a little inept. Another disappointment was that they had a bike rental stand that never had bikes to rent despite promoting it as an option. All in all, a good stay, but not a great stay. Glad I saved money on trip.com but I’ll look for a different hotel next time.

The local foreigner also knows it, probably because one of the few hotels on the edge of English Beach, except for the old elevator, it is quite good. The bed was quite big and the room was quite big. There is a parking lot, there may be a charge, I don’t know if I have not paid the bill.

It is a suite. The two-room single-bath Basic Suite was originally booked. Two rooms were required at the time of booking. At the time, it was there. After arriving at the hotel, It was told that only the high-price double-room type was available. After flying for more than ten hours, I was too lazy to fight again. I added 50 knives every night to make an upgrade. The hotel does not provide slippers, dental equipment, etc. The kitchen equipment is very complete. There are ovens, microwave ovens, and cooking. It can provide larger knives and cutting boards. Of course, it is incomparable with domestic ones. It can be used together, and can also provide rice cookers. And the conversion plug, but only a single request. The overall price/performance ratio is OK, suitable for family outings.

The location was perfect, and the room was quite spacious for the two of us, my teenager son and i, as we were in town for university campus visits. The beds were very comfortable, and the Starbucks in the lobby, and the mosaic restaurant served good food (for lunch). Parking was right down in the basement, and was very convenient. We parked the car there and walked around Robson avenue for shopping. Checkout was also very speedy and done online, without the need to line up.

Wonderful beds, we slept soundly all 3 nights. Amenities are AMAZING. Free first come first served cruiser bike rentals (with helmets, water and backpacks provided). Free full day gym passes to YWCA directly next door (with all YWCA classes included. Just register online first). On site French restaurant, Alouette, is FANTASTIC. Serving breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. Best food with great complexity and flavors. Service is SUPERIOR. From beginning to end we were greeted and treated so kindly and attentively. A nod to Hotel Manager Jeremy, Concierge Jordan and all of their brilliant team. Thank you, Hotel Le Soleil, we will certainly book with you directly again.
