Perfetto !!!!! La posizione è fantastica vicina al lungolago e al centro. L’appartamento inoltre è bellissimo e molto luminoso ed è ancor meglio dal vivo che dalle fotografie. Nuovo e curato in ogni dettaglio. È come soggiornare in una moderna Suite di un hotel, accappatoio, ciabattine, tisaneria, cialde per il caffè e tutte le informazioni utili per visitare la città e i dintorni. Gabriele ha l’ufficio proprio all’interno dell’edificio ed è molto disponibile e gentile. La sua presenza ti fa sentire come se soggiornassi in hotel. Ci ha accolte in anticipo rispetto l’orario del check-in rendendo così il nostro soggiorno ancor più comodo e piacevole. Ogni appartamento ha un posto auto assegnato nell’ampio garage sottostante. Questo rende il soggiorno più rilassante e l’appartamento più economico rispetto ad altre strutture perché è compreso nel prezzo cosa inusuale per Lugano. Guardando il sito diretto vi si aprirà una chat per chiedere informazioni. Noi abbiamo scritto li e ci ha risposto Gabriele che ha seguito tutta la nostra prenotazione e il nostro soggiorno lasciandoci anche un cellulare aziendale per qualsiasi necessità. È una persona stupenda, gentile ed educata e ci ha omaggiato anche di una piacevole sorpresa di cioccolatini. Che dire…. Grazieeeee di tutto. SUPER CONSIGLIATO, IL TOP DI LUGANO!!!!

I arranged my trip at very short notice, arrived very late, but Luca was there to welcome me to his Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and when my lift to the Airport didn’t arrive due to a landslide on the main road from Milan to Lugano, Luca offered to take me, without which, I would not have made my Flight home. In short, excellent location, great value for money and a perfect host!

Disadvantages: Hotel facilities are old, rooms are very small, air conditioning is still bad! Hygienic did not look clean. After going out at 11 o'clock in the evening, I locked the door at the hotel door. I waited for more than 10 minutes by the doorbell. No one came! We’ve fallen in love with this place! Our stay felt like stepping back in time, with the hotel’s rich history, antique furniture, and traditional service creating an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail and quality really stood out, making it the perfect place to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We loved spending our afternoons on the balcony overlooking the piazza, enjoying the peaceful view. The honesty bar was a lovely touch, and the beautiful teapots added charm. We thoroughly enjoyed reading about the hotel’s history and admiring the beautiful photos throughout. It was a truly exceptional, comfortable, and pleasant stay. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our time here so wonderful in every way!

The rooms are very nice and the environment is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony of the room, listening to birds, drinking a little wine, and admiring the lights of Lugano Lake and the mountain homes on the opposite side, it is really a treat.
The room is equipped with an electric kettle, shampoo, and shower gel. You need to bring your own dental appliances and slippers.

My biggest mistake was I only spent two nights at this hotel. And YOUR biggest mistake would be NOT to get a room facing one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. And we're talking a REAL view. If it wasn't for the swimming pool right underneath, you could throw yourself directly into the ocean. The hotel is a mile from downtown which is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is fantastic because of that view. I made the mistake of moving to a cheaper hotel in Lugano for the second part of my trip. I will never do that again. I'm going to stay at the Lido Seegarten next time I'm in Ticino.

We were very happy with our stay at Walter Au Lac. Excellent location, beautiful terrace. Breakfast was plentiful and the attendants were extremely attentive. They provided a high chair for my daughter and kept her entertained. They were very kind though they didn't speak much English. The room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony wasn't great since we had the last room in the hall on the second floor. There was a tree in the way of the Lake view but we felt being able to go to the terrace was a consolation. Overall, we were very happy here and would stay here again. Parking was about 4 min away walking, and sometimes it may be cheaper to pay the actual garage price than the 28 CHF the hotel offers. Just do the math to see what is better.

Very Good
Ho soggiornato due notti ed ho scelto un appartamento comodissimo. Arredato in modo sobrio ed elegante. Tutto pulitissimo. Come da foto. Comodo il checkin automatico che permette di fare tutto in autonomia. Gli appartamenti sono facilmente collegati tramite una scala interna anche per il bistrot per chi vuole utilizzare la loro cucina per pranzi, cene e colazioni, senza dover uscire. La colazione che ho provato è ottima ed il personale gentilissimo e disponbile. Parcheggio gratuito per i clienti. Ho trovato invece poco funzionale l'altezza per l'accesso/uscita della doccia...un po' rischiosa del mio appartamento. In generale consiglio vivamente questo CPRESORT . Ma consiglio: - di dotare l'appartamento di bustine per qualche tisana che alieterebbe il soggiorno. - lasciare al bistrot degli adattatori per prese in caso di necessità come avviene negli alberghi

MMathilde NThe people who work at Hotel Besso are extremely kind. Never in my life have I experienced such great hospitality before. They accommodated our every need, and when my father had a heart attack in Lugano one very kind man from the staff drove me to the hospital. They upgraded our room and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping and the lake. You can see the lake from the balcony. We will surely be coming here again.

JJiaweiThe location of this hotel is particularly good on the commercial street of the old town. On the first floor is the shop selling Swiss army knives. The shop is not the door of the hotel. Don’t walk through it. You can walk downhill from the train station. There is a steep slope and it is recommended to go down the mountain. It is a little tired to go up the mountain. If you have a Swiss Pass, you can take the cable car down for free. The room is very light and the decoration is very fresh. From the hotel, go to the opposite direction of the train station and quickly go to the lake. The cruise ship terminal is on the left hand side of the exit, and the pier is further a park. A hotel I like more, small and exquisite.
