I enjoyed my stay at ibis Lugano Paradiso, however the breakfast selection was rather mediocre but in line with the ibis standard. I found that the hotel rates in Lugano dropped quite a bit in the couple days before my arrival but decided to keep my reservation at the ibis Lugano Paradiso due to it’s ideal location. However, given how accessible all of Lugano is, if I were to return I would consider staying elsewhere in the interest of value for money.

Very clean, friendly and a nice atmosphere and surroundings. And the View ( the real view) is amazing, you understand why the gave it that name when you seen it. I’ve been there both during winter, spring and summer, and it’s always amazing.

The hotel is very good. The room is quite large, suitable for family travel, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad. The hotel's swimming pool is quite suitable for children. The lake at the entrance of the hotel is beautiful, the scenery is very good, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk. The only downside is that it is far from the famous attractions in Switzerland, and Grindwa and Interlaken are still much more beautiful.

Súper decent hotel outstanding staff my stay here with my family was wonderful and comfortable. The best thing about a vacation is to rest well and have a delicious breakfast and this hotel has it all, a first class service, with high quality care, I have to mention what caught my attention the most was the hygiene at breakfast time is very Important for me. I don't have many photos but I do have videos that I can't upload here from the hotel but I have it on my Instagram karol__0729….Very satisfied with our stay, just need to implement the parking

would like to inform you that I was subjected to a disrespectful attitude by the receptionist, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful, and contains unacceptable racism. On Friday night 1 September at 23:35, I went to buy a bottle of water and they are people in reception. I asked them for permission to pass before them, so they smiled at me welcoming, but the receptionist refused to pass me and asked me in an unkind way to wait . There was another woman waiting, and after the customer finished his check in, the woman looked at me and allowed me to pass before her because it was only a bottle of water, but the receptionist shouted at me and refused to pass my order with bad way!!! . I left the water and he insisted that I wait even though the woman repeated her words and told him that she allowed me to pass because it was a bottle of water... I strongly object to this inappropriate attitude of your employee..

Sixty-somethings Summer Hiking in Switzerland 21 day Adventure in Switzerland. Planes, trains, boats, busses, 9 cities and plenty of amazing hikes. Our favorite 3 cities/regions: Lugano, Montreux and St. Moritz. Saw the tourist towns Interlaken, Zurich, Lucerne, Zermatt and Grindelwald. Day trip to Milan. Took the Gotthard Express, Bernina Express (bus+train), Glacier Pass, and Golden Pass scenic trains. Most enjoyed the Charlie Chaplin Museum, Mt. Rigi, and Chateau Chillon. From a hotel standpoint, we stayed in 8 properties either for either 2 or 3 nights. All properties were 3 or 4 stars on Expedia/Tripadvisor. Here's the factors we used to rank order them: Bed Comfort, Location to Transport (main train station), Front Desk, Housekeeping, Ambiance, Breakfast, Cost. 66 pts. Art Boutique Hotel Monopol (St. Moritz),  62 pts. Mona (Montreux),  61 pts. Hilton Airport (Zurich),  60 pts. Hotel de la Paix (Lugano), 59 pts. Hotel Garni Testa Grigia (Zermatt), 59 pts. Hotel Alpenhof (Grindelwald) 58 pts. Hotel de la Paix (Lucerne), 56 pts. Hotel Hirschen (Zurich).

Lugano's affordable hotel is very close to the center, the breakfast environment is good, there is a parking lot, and there are discounts at the restaurants next door.

Wonderful hotel. Conveniently located: near bus stops, within walking distance of the supermarket migros and denner (it is worth considering that they close early enough), if you do not have time to shop, you can go to the minimarket at the gas station. There is air conditioning, a kitchen with everything you need, a table and chairs, so you can have dinner in your room. There is no TV, it is, in principle, not particularly needed. We liked everything, I recommend the hotel

A luxury hotel with an ancient style, good maintenance in a public area, we stayed in the ancient building, a clean room but furniture needs updating. Breakfast is a wonderful meal but without vegetables, very limited for such a luxury hotel, the staff is great, we had dinner not so special for the prices.
