The bedrooms were very comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. They include a small kitchenette with fridge and coffee making facilities. The spa facilities were also excellent. I’ve never seen so many hydrotherapy jets and jacuzzis in one hotel. We enjoyed the sound bath, massages and floatarium. There was a daily programme of wellness activities including yoga, Pilates, sound baths etc. The staff on reception were excellent, with an efficient and friendly check in / check out. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot, cold and wellness breakfast items. The major downside was the restaurant and bar service. There were very few staff available to serve food and drinks, so dinner service was incredibly slow despite the best efforts of the waiters / waitresses. It is a short 10 minute walk to the restaurants in town so we found this was a reliable alternative option for speedy service and a wider menu. There are restrictions around pool access for children. Accommodation in building 2 has a large pool that is accessible to 5-12 year olds. In building 1, there is a small unheated pool for 5-12 year olds (very cold water even in mid August) and an aqua play area for small children. The other pools in building 1 are exclusively for over 12s. Building 2 is better for families as it also houses the kids club, but the differences between the two buildings weren’t clear when we booked. The styling at the hotel is eclectic. It has a unique maximalist style with an incredible array of colourful props and lighting styles in every space of the hotel. We found it fun, but not a hotel for minimalists. The Augusta is primarily a spa with excellent accommodation. If it can improve its food and drink offerings, it would truly deliver on its ‘relax’ promise. More broadly, Sanxenxo has a lovely beach and lively seafront with lots of restaurants and ice cream shops.

Habitación mas o menos pasable,sin aire acondicionada y muchísimo ruido aparte del calor. Cuartos de baño de habitación sin perchas de ningún tipo donde poner las toallas según te duchas ,imagínate una habitación para tres personas el lío de toallas. El comedor una incomodidad y un stres cada vez que desayunas o cenas te asignan una mesa completamente distinta y hay que estar esperando hasta registrarte cada vez que entras, si ademas hay grupos de personas imagínate . Cuando llegas a coger el postre los helados no están refrigerados o sea son papilla. La cafetería con unos precios super excesivos solamente tienen 4 horas de apertura por la mañana y 4 horas por la tarde ,el resto del día completamente cerrada. Ademas no tienen nada mas que cerveza de barril ,no pidas tercios ni nada por el estilo. La piscina sin sombras de ningún tipo ,no hay sombras ninguna y ademas no puedes ni beber ni comer siquiera un vaso de agua contra ni mas una cerveza o un aperitivo. Por lo demás bastante pasable .Juzguen por ustedes .Yo no voy mas ,siempre he ido a otro hotel cercano pero este año no había disponibilidad,con lo cual probe suerte y he venido después de una semana muy descontento.
