I stayed nine nights at SENTIDO Æquora Lanzarote Suites with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 8), my sister's family (including her children, ages 2 and 1), and our dad. We usually opt for all-inclusive stays in Playa de Los Pocillos annually but have never visited this hotel. We were assigned three junior suites: two on the ground floor near the splash pool and one on the first floor (18 steps up) for my elderly dad and son. I would rate this hotel three out of five stars. This review provides an honest account of our experience. Check-in Experience When we arrived at 8 pm, there was only one staff member at the front desk handling check-ins, so we had to wait in line. The lobby was impeccably clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff member was polite but distracted, frequently interrupted by phone calls and colleagues needing assistance. Soledad, his boss, intervened several times and seemed dissatisfied with his performance. At one point, he disappeared into the back office for over 5 minutes, disappointing after a long day of travelling. Overall, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and we were underwhelmed when we finally reached our rooms. Room Quality The rooms were excellent—extremely spacious and perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, and daily housekeeper service was available. At check-in, we could opt for less frequent housekeeper service if desired. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. However, the air conditioning was not enormously powerful, and the room could have been cooler. I have experienced better air conditioning in other hotels. The room had two sleeping areas, ideal for giving our older son his space. The main downside was the communal open bathroom area, which offered no privacy for toilet use or showers. I had to ask my son to leave the room while showering since dressing had to happen in the open. While we managed, the lack of privacy in the bathroom would not be suitable for travelling with friends or children's friends. It was an unusual setup I had never encountered in a hotel. Customer Service The animation staff at the hotel were exceptional. They tirelessly provided entertainment from early morning until late evening. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kid’s club and especially loved the mini disco. Enes, who ran the kid’s club, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure all the children had a wonderful time. We are grateful for his efforts and the enjoyable experience he created for our kids. Sadly, the remaining staff significantly impacted my rating of this resort. The rudest staff I have encountered in all my years of travelling. No staff member stood out for their friendliness or effort to enhance our experience. Many were rude and diminished our experience. The resort's size affected the staff, making guests a low priority. Great family apartments, very clean thanks to the lovely ladies who work there and who will also do a full bag of washing for €5. There's no air con but fans are free from reception. Quiet and safe resort within 10 minutes walk of the main *****. There's also a lidl about 15 minutes walk away and only €4 back in a taxi. There are a few smaller supermarkets close by too. A few recommendations for restaurants in puerto del carmen, Sebastyans is an authentic Greek restaurant past lani's. Amazing food, incredible views and reasonably priced, definitely worth a visit. Also Port O Mar opposite the steps to the beach is reasonably priced and the guys are very welcoming and great with the kids. If you want to just stop for a beer then el kioska is in a nice wee spot, and a large beer is only €1.80 Overall Tisalaya are great family apartments in a good location and very clean.

My daughter and I spent a great week at Hipotels La Geria. The Hotel is attractive and has a beautiful pool. It is in a good location, just across the road from a huge sandy beach and only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants and local shops. Puerto del Carmen centre is only a short bus ride away, too, if you want more. The Hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was also clean and comfortable, with a good size bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge and a free to use safe. We were half board and found a huge choice of food available for both breakfast and dinner. We arrived late in the evening on our first day and although the restaurant was closed, they had put some cold meats, cheese and fruit out for us to eat, which was a welcome sight! We were warned that they were doing some building work on the Spa during the day, which is located near the pool but we weren't bothered by any noise or dust etc. when we used the pool. All in all, a lovely stay and we would definitely go back.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, we first visited in June 24 and came back for Christmas and New Year. In fact we are still here as staying for a month. The Food is top class so much choice, something for everyone. Every night has something different. Why some people say the food is tasteless I do not know. I say the opposite it is very tasty. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the maids come in every day to clean. They work really hard. All staff are very friendly. Gala Dinner for Christmas and New Year were exceptional, Christmas and New Year was very busy but this just shows how popular this hotel is. Christmas was amazing to see Father Christmas arrive for all the children and hand out Christmas presents to every child. I cannot fault anything so much so I will be returning at the end of March yet again. Well done to all the staff for making our holiday so memorable

We visited this hotel from the 18th Dec to the 28th Dec. I gave the hotel full marks because it met our needs. The buffet restaurant was fine. It had a variety of foods and whilst some things may not appeal to everyone, there was plenty in there to find a meal. They also did 'LIVE' cooking. It closed at 9pm after 3 opening times. All the staff were great in there. The pool bar also served food and drinks from 11am till 6pm. The cocktail bar opened from 6pm till midnight and served cocktails and other drinks. It also provided the evening's entertainers. I'll leave you to rate that yourselves. I had a go at karaoke one night and received a rapturous applause after singing '3 Little Birds'. The pools outside looked nice. They say the main one is heated in winter but some said it was cold. Still, many kids were in it having fun as the 21⁰ heat was always blazing down. The animation team were around daily till late with activities for both adults and kids. They were always smiling and full of energy. There are plenty of loungers so no need to panic. However, you might not always get the best spots as some put towels down very early...as usual. There's a small gym and a sauna which i used a few times. There's also a games room if kids get bored. The main road and beach isn't too far. Down the road to the left is Matagorda and the airport. To the right is the Puerto Del Carmen strip with shops, pubs, restaurants etc and the 'Biosfera' Shopping Centre. We had 10 days of relaxation and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Does what it says in the tin …. It’s a 3 star hotel and that’s the price you pay we were half board. Breakfast for me great husband never like Spanish breakfast whatever star we have stayed in, evening meal, we could always find something to eat Great value for price, adequate choice of food … if you are that fussy and want more than pay more as some forget its a 3 star not sure what people expect and yes in Spain no English bacon or sausage in list hotels Exceptionally clean, staff really helpful especially Eldorado - what we arrive we requested an upper floor as no children with us but told it was not possible … ok we have room c106 which was just at the side of mai pool great for family but we have kids playing football in the evening right outside the terrace (appreciate it is a family hotel but hearing a banging ball when they are not your kids😩😩 but they were having fun😂😂) so next morning when to reception and Eldorado was great and really went out of his way to move us (thank you so much as this made the holiday) we were moved it 1519 away from everything on the other side 3rd floor it was great and had the sun on it all afternoon and very quiet so perfect for us Great stay would recommend even if you went sc it has 2 holds and tools for you to cook but lots of restaurants near by. I would recommend this place . Staff fab and you get what you pay for
