We stayed on a trip from Madrid to Toledo whilst heading to Alicante. Located about 15 minutes outside Toledo at the side of a golf course. We regretted the decision pretty much on arrival. The building is large and well appointed and overlooks the golf course. Sadly it would appear that there were no other guests, failing that they were hiding in the large disused building next door! Reception staff were helpful and friendly, the room was large and well appointed but just felt like it hadn’t been used recently. The fridge unit still carried letters saying that it wasn’t filled due to Covid , as it was full but with no prices we assumed that this was a holdover to the previous pandemic. Or perhaps getting organised for the next one. Despite a full fridge there was no milk or milk powder for drinks, or a price list to indicate the basis they’d been supplied on. We decided to take down the sealed extra duvet as it was cold , only to find large pieces of red stain - blood make up we weren’t sure. Really off putting The bar was closed when we arrived at about 5 in the afternoon and may as well have been when we arrived back about ten 30 pm All in all we were genuinely dissapointed and couldn’t reccomend any one staying here . Perhaps with more guests it might have been better but we won’t be back

This hotel was booked based on the beautiful photos on it’s website and many of the reviews, however it was disappointing. The hotel itself has incredible views and grounds, but that is about it. We arrived on Monday 20th September in the evening. When making the booking we checked that the restaurant would be open, which it stated it would be until October. That was not the case. The young chap on the reception desk was very unhelpful and abrupt and said we would have to go into the city of Toledo if we wanted to eat. We walked into Toledo, which took around 30 minutes and eventually found somewhere. The hotel offered no map of the city and couldn’t recommend anywhere that was open on a Monday. Our room had a balcony and a lovely view, but that is all. The bathroom was dated and not very clean and the bed was average, comfort-wise. We had breakfast the following morning - it was basic and not at all memorable. Overall, this hotel looks amazing in photos, but that is about all. I would not stay there again.

The hotel is located outside the ancient city. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the San Juan Monastery. The parking is free and suitable for self-driving. The city view rooms are large and the mattresses are of good quality. The front desk staff are warm and thoughtful. The breakfast is not particularly many, but the quality is good. And fresh. Very recommend this hotel and hope to have the opportunity to stay a few more days next time

My husband and I drove back from Portugal and decided that we were going to stop off in Toledo. We stayed at this hotel. What an amazing hotel it is. And the prices are very affordable.The building is beautiful (architecture). Felt like we were in a tiny castle. The staff welcomed us (we came a bit late). They suggested where we go to eat (local food with the locals)at that time, they even explained the rules and closing times etc re that city during this time and corona restrictions. The room we stayed in was amazing. View of the whole city. We had an amazing terrace/patio.We were taken aback by the view we had. The bathroom was big-commodities included-soap etc. Bidet included. Heating was good. Modern furnishings. In the winter the floors are normally cold in Spain (throughout), this hotel was almost as if they had floor heating (who knows). It has a very warm, cozy feeling to it. The bed was comfortable and extra linen provided. Internet worked well. This hotel should be a 4 or 5 star hotel. A short walk into the city, the location is absolutely perfect. Adriana and all at reception were friendly and helpful. Now that we have discovered this hotel, we will be back for sure. Thank you sooo very much for the hospitality displayed Los Cigarrales, keep up the great work. Perfect!!! Now go....book!! :)

We had booked two nights at the hotel but really considered checking out after the first nigh as a car is required to visit the city and the restaurant was closed. I showed the receptionist their web page and it said that the restaurant was open. A few hours later we were told that a meal would be coked for us and could we choose what we wanted. It appeared that one chef was ill and the other chef came in and cooked just for us, this was a piece of great customer service which we appreciated. I believe that due to covid the hotel was not getting many guests and therefore revenue was down, this also showed in the garden not been kept tidy, although the pool was in good repair. The room required a little tender loving but had a fridge and AC but no safe. The public areas in the hotel were clean and tidy. The panoramic view of the city was spectacular. I feel for the hotel owners as with reduced revenue they did not have enough money to spend on the outside areas, but I think that as the number of guest increase the hotel will shine once again.

This hotel is on the outside areas of Toledo – you need a car to get to the centre (I read there is also a shuttle, but this was not mentioned to us, nor did we see any info on this). The hotel looked a empty, the parking was very empty, the bar/restaurant area was very empty,… Checking in was smooth, and the room was very nice: it was big, clean, with a good bed and very nice bath room. We wanted to eat something, but this was only possible in the bar area, one that looks very stylish with a color glass ceiling. The menu is very limited, but the food was good, prices reasonable. Breakfast was very nice, plenty of items to choose from, with a lot of attention to Covid (masks required, you have your own ‘device’ to grab the food, and they monitor this very closely too. Would I recommend this place? If you like a big room, and don’t mind you are not in walking distance of the town: for sure!

The hotel has a strategic location and is within easy reach of all major attractions. The hotel room is comfortable, clean and tidy, the hotel staff has a very good attitude, and the recommended restaurants are of good quality and low price. The breakfast is rich, tastes good and has many choices. Will definitely come again

Second stay here, the last was in 2017, great improvement to the fabric of the building especially the rooms. Staff were friendly and very helpful, the car park was spacious by Spanish standards and a good deal at €10 per day. Our room was large, could have had more storage, we had a large balcony, and a good sized bathroom, albeit with an impractical square sink. Good small bars around for breakfast, and easy access to the city via the escalators.

欧欧The hotel is located in the center of the ancient city of Toledo. It is close to the bus station, commercial plaza and pedestrian street. We are driving, except for the narrow roads, it is easy to find! The facilities in the room can only be said to be normal, the room is relatively small, but it is very clean, the hotel front desk service is super enthusiasm, and I also burned boiling water for me to make instant noodles! The hotel has a cooperative parking lot. Now the small square at the entrance of the hotel is parked. After the check-in, you should go to the cooperative parking lot of about 200 meters, and then take the discount ticket at the front desk, 15 Euro / 24 hours! But the best thing I think is the hotel's breakfast, rich, delicious, freshly baked bread and ham slices, super delicious! The room we booked was more than RMB 500 a night, including breakfast, and it was very good value. The quality of the breakfast was not worse than that of other hotels that spent more than ten euros before! Overall, it is worth recommending!

This hotel was booked based on the beautiful photos on it’s website and many of the reviews, however it was disappointing. The hotel itself has incredible views and grounds, but that is about it. We arrived on Monday 20th September in the evening. When making the booking we checked that the restaurant would be open, which it stated it would be until October. That was not the case. The young chap on the reception desk was very unhelpful and abrupt and said we would have to go into the city of Toledo if we wanted to eat. We walked into Toledo, which took around 30 minutes and eventually found somewhere. The hotel offered no map of the city and couldn’t recommend anywhere that was open on a Monday. Our room had a balcony and a lovely view, but that is all. The bathroom was dated and not very clean and the bed was average, comfort-wise. We had breakfast the following morning - it was basic and not at all memorable. Overall, this hotel looks amazing in photos, but that is about all. I would not stay there again.

GGuest UserWe had booked two nights at the hotel but really considered checking out after the first nigh as a car is required to visit the city and the restaurant was closed. I showed the receptionist their web page and it said that the restaurant was open. A few hours later we were told that a meal would be coked for us and could we choose what we wanted. It appeared that one chef was ill and the other chef came in and cooked just for us, this was a piece of great customer service which we appreciated. I believe that due to covid the hotel was not getting many guests and therefore revenue was down, this also showed in the garden not been kept tidy, although the pool was in good repair. The room required a little tender loving but had a fridge and AC but no safe. The public areas in the hotel were clean and tidy. The panoramic view of the city was spectacular. I feel for the hotel owners as with reduced revenue they did not have enough money to spend on the outside areas, but I think that as the number of guest increase the hotel will shine once again.

GGuest UserUbicacion muy buena, 15 min andando hasta el centro. Los trabajadores muy agradables, te explican todo al llegar y te orientan con un mapa. Muy limpio y desayuno muy bueno. Parking cerca gratuito y enfrente del hostal hay unos sitios, si hay suerte se puede dejar ahí el coche.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for three nights. Check in was smooth and speedy. We stayed in room 210 . The view wasn't great but we weren't really bothered by that . It was quiet , away from the road . The room had an en suite with shower over the bath and a hairdryer and individually wrapped soaps/shower gels. It had aircon but we didn't need that. In fact it was a bit cool on the first night. There didn't seem to be any heating. There was spare blankets in the wardrobe. There was a tv but we didn't use that. There wasn't any coffee/tea making facilities in the room or a safe. There was safety deposit boxes at reception. We were booked in for bed and breakfast. The staff in the restaurant in the morning were very nice. I don't drink tea/coffee so they made me hot lemon and honey every morning . I also use honey in my yoghurt which theirs had crystalized a bit so was hard to get out. The next morning she'd put it in hot water to soften it up for me before I'd arrived. These things might not seem much but to me it's these little things that are appreciated. The location is very good for sightseeing this lovely city
