Wow wow wow. Having just finished a marriage ceremony in Tarascon…. What a welcome zen for us all. Francois Ben and Paco were truly the best hosts and could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was a chore. We desperately needed some chill time and this was done with the best in service at a beautiful property. We all have been welcomed and looked after with a family who deserve the best reviews. Breakfasts were great and often organised at different times to suit. Will definitely be going back.

Such a lovely place to stay. You will need a small car to go through the narrow gate into the old town of Mazan but Eric and Agnes will make sure you have a place to park. They are superb hosts who really look after their guests and pay attention to all the details. We loved our large room off the Library and played snooker/pool in the evenings. We adored the relaxing garden with a gloriously warm swimming pool. I was straight in to that within an hour of arrival and we used it every day of our May stay. Dinner was cooked by Eric on our first day and was delicious, as was the breakfast served by Agnes. Try Eric's special spiced scrambled eggs. All items were seasonal and local and we loved the way it was varied each morning. The other nights we ate in the town, booked by Agnes and Eric on their recommendations. You will not see many tourists here and it is on the edge of such a great wine area. A base for Gordes, the ”Lavender route”, Mt Ventoux, the wines of the Vaucluse and the edges of the Luberon. The public areas of the hotel are decorated with French neoclassical elegance and romance, but the interiors of the rooms are relatively simple. The classic rooms do not even have a decent table, and the bathroom only has a separate tub in the middle of the room. , relatively inconvenient. We booked a classic room. Maybe because we were Asians, we arranged it in the north-facing location closest to the storage room. We wanted to change it but failed. They said that the room I booked only had this orientation. The question is, are there only one or two classic rooms? ? Unless you add another 79 euros, you can change to another room. Later I found out that I was still on the same floor after paying extra. Changing the direction in such a remote place would cost so much that we rationally gave up. However, I have to say that the lobby manager of the hotel is very dedicated. We needed to print our boarding passes when we left the hotel. It happened to be a very busy check-out time. He really tried his best to help us, which reflected the gentleness of a French gentleman and the hotel. Professionalism of managers.

We stayed 2 nights here in July. The hotel is in a great location. 2 minutes walk to the commercial shops, grocery, and nice restaurants. It’s on a street with shady trees that brings the romantic French feeling. The owner Frederic is very knowledgeable and efficient. Our car was towed due to the damage caused by thief. He helped us to communicate with the road assistance and rental company, and found us the replacement car the same day on Sunday which is normally not possible. We really appreciate his kindness, patience and thoughtfulness. We will definitely come back if we are in the region again. Thank you Frederic.

If you're looking for the ideal stay that will fulfill all your Provencal dreams then this is your place. We had a wonderful stay at Crillon Le Brave in May and only wish our stay was longer. The hotel that's a village makes this a unique stay and leads to the overall charm. You are met with the most beautiful exterior as you walk into reception and the cobblestone walkways let you wander from pool to your room, to the spa, to the restaurant all while taking in the breathtaking views of Mt Ventoux, vineyards and surrounding olive groves. We had a beautiful room, a great dinner, and I enjoyed a relaxing spa day where I had a fantastic massage. But the best part of the hotel are the people who work there and specifically Charlotte. She went so above and beyond it truly touched our hearts.
