Pros :
- Great location, it is easy to find any food courts from steak house, coffee shop, gelato
- Fast check in process but you have to put your ID Card in the front office during your stay
- Quite place because it is not to close to the main road
- There is hot water and good AC
- Big enough parking area for motorcycle and cars
- Good service from hotel staf to accomodate our request
Cons :
- We have stained bed sheets and thin pillows
- No tissue
- The room is not sound proof
- At that time we have to ask for bath towels which is should be in place along with toileteries

Let's say the value for money is very high. Nice enviroment with beautiful pool in the middle, big rooms, nice atmosphere. Staff very nice and helpful. In Prawirotaman, nearby lots of choices in terms of restaurants and bars.
Some suggestions: improve the breakfast, change the wood doors and windows (not working properly, entering light, noise and mosquitos), have more strong lights in the bathroom and CLEAN betterly the venue.

Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and a popular area with tourists. Hotel staff were positive and helpful. The problem is lack of maintenance to the fabric of the hotel and some basic problems with proper cleanliness of the rooms! The very wet weather during our stay didn't help and may have explained the presence of a large worm found under the bed late on our first evening!! The next day, with the help of our guide, we had a fundamental discussion about the need to ”deep-clean” the room other wise we would not stay. Thankfully, the hotel rose to the challenge and the rest of our stay was uneventful. Would we stay there again? Possibly, the location is good. However, the hotel needs to invest money in the fabric of the building AND ensure proper cleaning standards are maintained.

Naturally furnished hotel with unfortunately large deficits.

- Extremely noisy in the room because not isolated and not bricked up in the bathroom. You can hear what's happening in the whole hotel.

The staff here were all lovely with 24hour service/check in. The room was gorgeous with Indonesian art, batik, and the high ceilinged cobblestone bathroom was awesome! Centre of a touristy district with western food places on the same street, but tucked away with a beautiful leafy courtyard with great privacy. Had to taxi to city centre but if you’re up for it the Beringharjo markets are a doable 40min walk. Free water was awesome and also always had tea and coffee available. Thank you!

Outstanding
AAnne GWe had stayed in the Gallery Hotel nearby but they did not have a room available for our last night so we stayed in this hotel. The pool is nice and the rooms are somewhat clean but there were stains on the sheets. However, there was a generator or something that made a lot of noise all night and it was difficult to sleep. It is next door to Via Via a lovely restaurant so that was convenient but I would not stay there again.

What a lovely place! Well-located, superb value, and a great hybrid between a hotel, a hostel, and a homestay - taking the best of each. The host family were so lovely, and helped us with making the most of our travels (arranging various tours for us, including Mount Bromo and Ijen), providing great breakfasts for us each morning (with free fruit/coffee etc), whilst also helping us with our laundry, repairs, etc. We really enjoyed our time there, and would highly recommend it.

HHIROKExcellent location. Next road and the road on which the hotel is located has many eateries, coffee shops, souvenir shops. Walkable to all of them. The hotel itself is good. Spacious rooms. We had room (king bed) on the 4th floor. Nice and clean. It has balcony facing the city. The odd numbered rooms are city facing and even numbered are pool facing. The pool water is ice cold all the time ! That wasnt really great. Breakfast was decent - no western/ English fare (no sausage, bacons etc.) Fruits were great, otherwise Indonesian menu in the breakfast. There was pancakes, eggs corner, muffins but similar and standard each day. We stayed for 4 nights. They dont have a 'Earthquake alert system' - there are earthquakes pretty much every day in Yogyakarta. Staff helpful polite and courteous. They have breakfast boxes if you are leaving before 6 am for a flight / anything else. Good stay. Will recommend the hotel.

Zzaaa_the location of this hotel is very good, close to artshops, souvenir shops, bars & lounges, bakeries, coffee shops, circle-K, and mosques. the service is friendly and good but the elevator access facility is a little difficult if you go with your family, because the room card becomes an elevator access card at the same time. but it is not a problem if you are a solo traveler.

GGuest UserThe place is nice and cozy with a good atmosphere. However toilet is always wet and you're expected to step on it barefoot (or with shower slippers) if you're not prepared for it it can feel weird.
There's hot water in the shower which is great though. Air conditioning is cold. No towels provided but there's soap.

章章The weekend is full, many nearby families are going to spend a weekend holiday. The hotel is not big but the environment is very good. It belongs to the boutique villa. Here is the environment. Don’t ask for any high hardware. Experience the characteristics of Yogyakarta. It is very comfortable. All counted, I like this Duta Garden, very recommended. Of course, if you want the Marriott International Hotel chain to be right, there is nothing wrong with choosing a hotel in Yogyakarta. The hotel on Java Island in Indonesia is quite kind. Yogyakarta is a beautiful city.

Very Good
It was really a very fun experience for a first time hostel. Super dear people what makes it extra fun and the location is top! In 3 minutes walk you've already reached bars and what really is a recommender is the restaurant Masama by Kamil. This was 10 minutes' walk from the hostel. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the rooms but there were enough fans.

- Great location, it is easy to find any food courts from steak house, coffee shop, gelato
- Fast check in process but you have to put your ID Card in the front office during your stay
- Quite place because it is not to close to the main road
- There is hot water and good AC
- Big enough parking area for motorcycle and cars
- Good service from hotel staf to accomodate our request
Cons :
- We have stained bed sheets and thin pillows
- No tissue
- The room is not sound proof
- At that time we have to ask for bath towels which is should be in place along with toileteries
