I stayed at two hotels in Amritsar, on two preceeding days to the one I stayed at the Ritz Plaza. One was the Lal kothi at raja sansi, by ITC group! I was not too happy as I was not looking for the standardised, monotonous, closeted, too formal and stiff westernised experience. I changed one hotel every day because I was looking for an authentic Punjabi hospitality experience while offering the touch of good class, which I finally got at the Ritz Plaza, complete with the yummy Amritsari dinner and breakfast. The vast lawns full of mango trees, the framed tapestries on the walls and the original building instead of the glass and chrome laden other hotels, lend it the rich, old world Punjabi air and charm. In addition, it is situated in a very calm, stately neighborhood, in the heart of Amritsar. The staff is seasoned, kind of family, who seem to have stayed with the hotel their entire career and that gives, the real, warm, loyal, relaxed Punjabi vibe! The MD, luckily happened to be around and he personally took the feedback and got a few things set right although the entire team is very professional and extremely good. One more suggestion to the management would be to please maintain the originality of the property, which they have done successfully till now. Keep it up! All the best!! Thanks..

Have been to amritsar so many times, but havent experienced such luxury at such price, they have an amazing outdoor cafe experience which makes you feel like you are in goa, and the staff is so welcoming and complete 5 star for the hospitality. They have big rooms big washrooms all explicitly amazing

GGuest UserWe arrived at Amritsar the day before the Parkash Parab, which led to difficulty in reaching the hotel. Staff helped us at every step, starting with dealing with a recalcitrant taxi-cab driver, to helping us with our luggage and even the less mobile among us across jam-packed streets. The rooms are well furnished and clean, the washrooms are, too. Rooms are centrally air-conditioned and hot water is available round the clock. The greatest advantage of the property is its location just outside the Golden Temple complex and takes you all of three minutes to reach the inner courtyard. Positives: Location, cleanliness, very helpful staff. On the downside: Small rooms, all rooms don't have view, no kitchen or dining room — food is brought to you from outside, so it takes a long time to reach.

Whilst looking for accommodation in and around Amritsar Railway station on one of the booking sites, I came across Quality Inn Elite in Amritsar. I booked for 3 nights based on some very positive reviews and I must say the hotel far exceeded my expectations. Although the property is a bit dated the rooms were very well maintained, clean, cosy and comfortable. The staff, without exception were very warm and genuinely welcoming to all guests. I must mention that Manpreet and her colleagues at the restaurant were exceptional. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Tried three different items on the room service menu and each was very well prepared and presented and very delicious. Overall it was a wonderful stay at this hotel which lived upto its name as a quality and elite property.

Due to an issue with another hotel we ended up staying at the hotel A Star. We were able to book rooms last minute. Staff were excellent, very attentive and polite. It was room only, tea/coffee available in room. Beds were comfortable. AC in room and ceiling fan which was a good it was good to sleep easily due tiredness. Hotel room was very clean. Location was spot on and l would definitely stay again

GGuest UserStay at surestay hotel was very nyc. Had a very good tym with family. With the heritage street view from our room it was really awesome highly recommended for short and sweet stay. Walking distance to shri darbar sahib makes the stay far better than any other hotel. Front office staff is also very courteous and generous. Overall experience was above my expectations. Hygeine and cleanliness is jst superb.

GGuest UserThe hotel’s proximity to the airport was a major plus. It made my travel arrangements smooth and hassle-free. Unfortunately, there was a hiccup during dinner—the chef was on leave. As a result, the dinner options were limited. However, I appreciate the hotel’s honesty in communicating this beforehand... On the bright side, the morning buffet exceeded my expectations! The parathas served with curd were absolutely delightful. I hadn’t expected such a yummy and satisfying breakfast. Moreover, The reception staff deserves a special mention. They were friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist. Their warm welcome set a positive tone for my stay.

GGuest UserThis property is newly built, and I must say everyone should book it. It has 4-star facilities. I booked a standard room, which is very good in size and neat and clean. We took breakfast, which is, test-wise, really very good. They provide a pick-up and drop-off facility for RFID cards and the starting point of the Maa Veshno Devi Yatra. Over all, this property is good for families and tourists visiting Katra.

This hotel was very well positioned, we took a taxi from the airport, took about 20 minutes and cost £15. For visits to The Golden Temple ….5 minute walk, we also visited the gates at the Pakistan - Indian boarder, 25 minutes in taxi again costing £15, both ways. The hotel was well appointed with air conditioning and fan, clean and of good size, waterfall shower, supplied with shampoo and shower gel, WiFi was good in the room. Comfortable bed, with good pillows, our room was a the front of the hotel on the fifth floor, lovely views of local markets and restaurants, as well as a McDonalds for those less adventurous. Staff were extremely helpful, in arranging taxi’s for trips, it is a pedestrian area, but staff accompanied us to taxi, which is a walk of about 60 yards, not a problem for us. Breakfast was an typical Indian, with chick pea curry and local bread, butter toast and white coffee. I’d definitely recommend and stay again.

MMd Ahnaf RahmanIn October 2019, I visited the Golden Temple with my wife and son, and it was an incredibly peaceful and moving experience. The temple's stunning architecture and the tranquil atmosphere created by the sacred hymns left us in awe. The kindness and hospitality of everyone we met made the visit truly memorable.

赶赶景This is except for the Golden Temple, which is the place where Amri must visit. From the Golden Temple, I packaged a tutu, 600 rubles to and from, and drove for about 40 minutes. All kinds of openings along the way, and finally arrived before the performance began. The whole ceremony was actually very lively. It started with a singing and dancing performance. It was estimated that it was a nearby student. The radio said that there were stars present, and the crowd was angry. Anyway, I don't know who it was. The opposite Pakistan is obviously less people, and the momentum is a lot lower. Look at the Indian dance, it is good, and it is a bit interesting. Amri is dirty in the city, and it is much cleaner when it comes out of the city.
