The rooms are spacious with balcony, secluded away from the chaotic runways. Yet mob-or beach is at a beautiful scenic scooty ride of 10 mins. Janet the manager is absolutely gracious and helpful in providing contacts, support and to provide the best overall customer experience. Rare to find such hospitality. A shout out to rahul from the support staff for a friendly connect and helping out with arranging a scooty on rent.

Goa is at its best scenic beauty in the rainy season. The lush greenery takes away one’s breath and is very refreshing. This Resort is good value for money, reasonably well maintained with free WiFi, a great offsite place for me to work from. The room was neat and clean. I took long walks outside the resort and saw the typical Goa houses with native life-styles. The pool is beautiful, well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed it even during rains though the resort had few families only, but we liked it better that way as there was no disturbance. The Games room had all the table games such as carom, table tennis, Ludo etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this Resort to my friends and family members.

A great property located about a km from the most beautiful cavelossim beach. The resort is well laid out with all the required amenities and is well maintained. The staff are courteous and well mannered. The cottages are neat and clean and ideal for couples and families. Keep up the good work!

Suitable for vacation, very good

This is a wonderful resort. My mom stayed their for 2 nights to celebrate her birthday in October 2024. The manager, Geeta, and Ruby in guest relations were both fantastic and very welcoming! They helped to make her birthday stay extra special. The front desk staff and the waiters in the restaurant are very courteous. There is a good choice of food at the restaurants and the staff aim to please. The hotel is walking distance to a beautiful beach, and the hotel has clean and spacious rooms. The gardens and grounds are impeccable. We will definitely be back to the Novtel Dona Sylvia Goa resort!

Stayed in the center court resort and spa for 2 days, rooms were average, not up to the mark. Dissapointed with the hotel and service. Bathroom especially was not maintained well, had many cobwebs and there was no tap except for shower. Room was spacious enough but not maintained well. The furniture is very old. Booked this hotel mainly for breakfast and lunch/dinner, breakfast buffet was good, but dinner was very limited, which was not mentioned. Restaurant staff were not clear on how much quantity to be given, this was very frustrating as we need to think a lot before ordering food and quantity was restricted. Paying for this kind of room with limited veg dinner was not at all worth for money.

This hotel is situated in a perfect location to access restaurants such as the Goan village, Octima and Mike’s places to name a few. Our room had a lovely balcony. Music within the area stops at 23:00 hrs which is necessary due to the location & getting a good night sleep. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30, we had no complaints. 1: There is a fridge in the room. 2: Ample storage to hang clothes on rails rather than wardrobes. 3: Two bottles of water are provided in the room on arrival. Water is not replenished daily but there is plenty of shops locally to buy water. 4: The room is air conditioned & there is a ceiling fan. 5: There are adequate plugs in the room. 6: There is access to a walk-in shower, however the bathroom is basic but serves the purpose. 7: Rooms are cleaned daily, pillows and towels are very worn but clean. 8: There is access to a safe in the room, a key is provided which you keep for your duration. 9: There is coffee & tea facilities. 10: This is a 3 storey building with no access to a lift. There are a lot of steps which could be a problem if you have mobility issues. 11: The staff were lovely & very accommodating. 12: The hotel accept cash and card. There is a 12% charge if you use a card. In conclusion a great price for a basic clean hotel in a fabulous location.

San Domingo's, WinWin's and Goan Village restaurant are owned and managed by Edwin. He runs a thriving business and has friendly, professional and helpful staff. We had seen San Domingo's on a previous visit in 2019/20 and booked to stay in 21/22 (which was cancelled owing to visa issues) and finally arrived in December 22. Edwin, Hazel and Angelina were all super easy to deal with by email; always a quick response. They arranged for our transfer from and to the airport. Efficient and inexpensive. The room was appropriate for the cost; a good size, excellent aircon and ceiling fan, TV, ensuite wet room. The bed was comfortable (we like a firm bed). We had a balcony overlooking the pool which was nice although the reality is that it was very hot and we mostly stayed in the cool! The pool was beautifully clean and refreshingly 'cool'. I was disappointed to discover that the WiFi was ONLY available in the reception area and not in the bedrooms. As our business was closed for the Christmas period this was not so much of an issue BUT it would have been if we had needed to work more. There are probably ways around this such as buying a local SIM card. It actually served the purpose of us reading more and 'internetting' less! It did mean however that wherever else we went ie to restaurants we feverishly used our phones, probably looking like very old teenagers!! There were a few teething problems too on arrival with the room but these were very quickly improved upon by the staff. If I had a criticism I would suggest that the linen and towels are old and perhaps could be updated. You can arrange for laundry to be done but you need to persist your request at reception; it was beautifully laundered and very reasonably priced. Please note that it is a good 10 minutes walk to the beach in raging heat! The local beach has a few 'shacks' and WinWin's was fantastic. The staff look after you fabulously well and has great WiFi, good food and a great ambience. A special mention to Guru! San Domingo's is right in the middle of a good clutch of restaurants and is a great place to stay.
