Hotel was good not too luxurious nor too bad, the only problem is that it is 2. 3 km from the main temple area and you need to go to that place each time for having food or snacks

You get what you pay for. Basic hotel with minimum basic but clean facilities. Though they say Free WIFI but it is not available in the rooms (only available at the reception). At least they shouldn't misguide the guests. Their location is really plus as it is walking distance from the west gate of the temple. The food at the DEVI restaurant was surprisingly good - you can try it there.

Pros: 1. Good Property with excellent landscape - large trees with swings with flora and fauna. 2. Clothes drying racks and clean washroom. Also upon asked they promptly provided a kettle BUT no sugar no tea/coffee bags. Cons: 1. Lack of professional Hotel staff - three people staff including a manager who never picks calls, one cook and a helper (the poor boy who run all the errands) 2. Basic food with five star rates - Unhygienic cutlery, plates all plastic, even the tumbler are plastic - completely worn out (Had to wash ourselves the cutlery and plates - not at all washed, food particles with oil on it, they just rinsed in water for sure. Even the tray on which they bring food, when was it washed last we dont know - rest you can imagine. 3. Breakfast was basis and brought cold and not worth at all - road side vendor can give better food. The sink outside dinning area is the most dirty and the kitchen area under the stairs was a horrible site 4. Rooms have no glass/tumbler - no tissues, no toilet paper, no teaspoons etc. 5. Outside room the area is extremely dirty with rat and mice droppings, plastic bottles, waste plastic bags, wrappers etc. And lots of ants. Nick and corners are never cleaned and windows are full of dust and cobwebs.

Nice premium room provided (booked directly with them) Good buffet breakfast included in the cost. Variety of options provided Courteous staffs took care of us. We checked in at morning ~4 AM in the morning, still no hiccups and got room allocated in no time.

Let's start with the positives - the hotel's location was truly amazing. It was conveniently close to the main temple and right near the beach. I had a mesmerizing view of the surroundings from my room. Speaking of rooms, they were impressively spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay experience. The food at the hotel's restaurant was generally good, but I must admit, I found the variety to be somewhat limited. Although the breakfast buffet did offer some variations, I was hoping for a more diverse selection of dishes to choose from. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff wasn't entirely positive. While some were polite and accommodating, others seemed less attentive and welcoming. The restaurant staff, in particular, came across as somewhat rude, which was disappointing. In conclusion, Hotel Fortune in Rameshwaram has a lot of potential, thanks to its amazing location and spacious rooms. However, improvements in the variety of food options and the training of staff, especially in the restaurant, would enhance the overall guest experience.

BBouyerWe were (with my 20 year old daughter) in Rameshwaram for 1 or 2 nights. We were assigned a room with 2 double beds. The bedding was comfortable.
On the other hand, what is a shame is the *** only mosquito net on the window! So we can't ventilate without bringing in the mosquitoes (so it smells of humidity when we arrive), and the room remains dark.
To book an extra night I went through a reservation on the site otherwise the staff offered me a higher price... suddenly I had a priori on them. (While maybe it was a communication problem)
He never offered to help me, nor did I de***de.
except at the very moment of check out, he volunteered and gave me information on trains and buses, he was ready to help us. But I would have had to de*** him from the day before!
So do not hesitate to ask him, he will be of good advice.

We stayed here for a night to cover our TN trip. A brand new hotel with only 6 rooms currently in operation....a pleasant surprise with excellent service Good side: New hotel, new rooms Close to the temple..walking distance Excellent and friendly service...owner personally takes interest to serve the customer Rooms are decently clean...though small A restaurant close by offers decent food Nice option to wash the legs outside after visit to the beaches before entering the hotel Not so Good side: - No windows in the room...only in the wash area...makes the room always needing lighting - Washroom can be maintained better - toilet bowls need better cleaning (currently do not qualify for western standards) - No towel rods in the wash area - no hand towels provided....need to access the bathroom every time even when you need ad wash - No coffee facility inside the room...we were provided with hot water for storage in our own thermos. we then made our own coffee before early AM departure with our own condiments Would love to visit again and stay again just to enjoy the friendly service

GGuest UserThe picture of the room is not the same what you get. Rooms were slightly unclean. However, they do cleaning and change of bedsheets everyday, which is nice. Service was good but not quick. Please have a guard sitting at the car entry & exit gate as we have to get down of the car to always open & close the gate. Nearby temple and agni theertham.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was adjacent to the east gate which was very advantageous for changing clothes after getting drenched in the holy wells. Also the agnitirtham was very close to the hotel. Though vehicle was not allowed upto the hotel as it is very near to the temple gate yet the hotel arranged for pickup and drop in rickshaw. The hotel rooms are very grand and the restaurant food is also delicious. Overall we had a pleasant stay in rs n international and i will definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

The stay was great we r going early coming for late night. The restaurent was good we can see the seaview from that floor.The property was very close to Main temple and walkable distance .....the check in was good and they adjust with the late check out it was very helpful for us. staff were really Good.🙏

GGuest UserA bad stay experience indeed ! We had booked at this hotel through GoIbibo for two nights. First impressions : the hotel is located a stone throw’s distance away from Agniteertham (where you take a dip in the calm ocean before you go for Darshan), the hotel is located in a narrow street where you shouldn’t go with your vehicle but they have a private parking located 100 metres before the hotel where you can go and park your vehicle. The hotel’s staff including the owner came across as decent people and room was fairly okay wherein the washroom could have been more clean for the price you pay per night compared to other properties in this area. The worst part however came later into the night as we were hoping to get a good night’s sleep after driving for over 12 hours to Rameswaram. There was a rowdy and extremely noisy group of people who checked in around 5 am in a room at the top floor as our room and made life hell with their chaotic behaviour that came straight out of a Fish Market scene. We contacted the Hotel Management including the owner to calm these urchins down but in reality the owner didn’t make any serious attempt to ensure that the noise levels came down and in the end left the matter to be settled between us and them. Later on instead of being regretful and trying to control this situation for the next night this particular group’s behaviour was being sort of justified by the owner that they had children and that’s why they were uncontrolled and blah blah…we had to drive next day for close to 12-15 hours and instead of wasting another night with the iditiotic chaos that was to follow, we decided to checkout a day early. You may have all the amenities of the World in a Hotel but if you can’t peacefully sleep at Night as that’s the bare minimum requirement when I look at a place to stay then everything else is useless to me. No refunds, we wasted our night and money, expected better response from management but they were not interested at all, please do think twice before staying here considering the aforementioned points, next time I am going to book a lodge as so many of them are located in the vicinity at 1/3rd of the price. The only reason I booked this property considering there will be some minimum set of standards maintained and basic rules enforced but alas it was a disappointing experience indeed.

We had booked based on good ratings of 4+. Unfortunately, missed out on the detailed review comments. Also one of the picture uploaded in Trip Advisor was misleading and not related to the hotel. The original pics of the hotel is from years back and do not expect it to look the same now. Based on our stay, it's pretty evident that the location 5 star given by other users for the fact that it was close to beach and temple, and not for it being easily accessible by car. I was worried that my car will get stuck between the walls of the small path leading to the hotel. You have to be very careful to not damage your car just by trying to reach the hotel. The food is only North Indian based. It was very difficult for me to adjust with the food (I am from Kerala). The room is quite old, and had a damp smell of lotion. The fridge was not working and the telephone did not even have a cord connected to it. The plug point was was damaged and was unable to charge my phone. Ultimately had to unplug the TV and use that port. Overall a pretty bad experience. Will not be booking this hotel again. Hotel Rameshwaram Grand looks a better option as it was easily accessible and the restaurant was pretty good. (Do not know about room quality, but the hotel looks pretty good from the outside - we just went there for having some non-veg food in the restaurant)
