My wife and I started our honeymoon in Italy at this lovely hotel. We spent 5 nights here and the Angiolieri truly set the bar for our time in this beautiful country. It was an amazing experience and we loved that this was our home to start our honeymoon. Prior to our stay, my wife was provided with many recommendations by Ida from their Booking department/front desk team. Since it was our first time in Italy and at this hotel it was nice to have some insight on what to do while there. Vico Equense/Seiano was our base to get to Sorrento for different day trip activities we had while there. Annalisa was extremely polite and helpful when we checked in. She was our first contact upon arriving and she was so nice. She set the tone for all of the front desk agents and staff that we had the pleasure of meeting while there. She gave us an initial tour of the property and showed us to our room. We had a Classic Double Room which had a nice view of Vico Equense from one window and small balcony with a view of Mt. Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. The room was nice, clean, and, comfortable. We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco, note, and some sweets to celebrate the occasion. Each morning we had breakfast on the beautiful terrace and were greeted by the Giovanni and wonderful team at L'Accanto. The view, food, and service at this Michelin star restaurant were excellent. Breakfast was included with our stay and the attentive staff and presentation of the food from morning to night make me want to return. Just know that for dinner you must wear pants. I had no problem with Overall, we loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Each day we were helped by the wonderful front desk team. We want to thank Annalisa, Ida, Adriana, Emanuela, and Gennaro for always being there to answer any questions, greet us with a smile, sell us train tickets, or help us in reserving the shuttle to the Seiano train station. They were all so attentive and pleasant to my wife and me. We had day trips 3 of the 4 days at the hotel and I feel like each morning we were asking them for help, and they obliged. After the long days it was always great to return to the hotel where they were there to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel grounds were an oasis for us. on

We were welcomed to Relais Maresca by Antonio and Natasha. They greeted us with fresh pastries and espresso. Natasha helped us secure reservations at 3 incredible restaurants and the beach club. Our rooms were very tidy with fresh towels each day. I loved the branded flip flops that were provided and the beach bag! When we weren't exploring Capri, we were enjoying our time at the solarium. It's peaceful with stunning views of the marina. You could watch the boats go by for hours. You can tell that the staff take great pride in caring for the hotel and its guests. I would highly recommend this location as your home away from home while visiting Capri! Enjoy!

GGuest UserI will admit, being from the Philadelphia suburbs, Delco Naples caught my eye because I live next to Delaware County Pennsylvania (Delco) and thought it was amusing. That being said, we were looking for a place in the Chiaia neighborhood. We wanted a suite with a fridge, a kitchenette, and air conditioning. Delco fit the bill. Massimo, the host, was very helpful even before we arrived, He arranged our pick up from the Naples airport. The place is a little tricky to find (it’s down a side street, then through a parking lot, up to the 3rd floor). Once here, we loved our room. Exactly what we wanted. The gentleman that cleans the rooms did a great job keeping the place tidy. It’s conveniently located, and Massimo was available via WhatsApp throughout our visit. We even had them do our laundry (€6 per bag), which arrived in less than a day perfectly clean and folded. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I make it back to Naples. Bravo, Massimo, bravo!

CChristutiWhat a wonderful experience!!! The room was just perfect. Extremely spacious room and the tub/jacuzzi was an excellent addition. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Kitchenette was also a wonderful surprise (I don’t remember reading about it when I booked). Mini fridge was perfect to keep water bottle and beverages cold. Very cleaned and beautifully presented. The view from the room was just great and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance from the port (great as I had planned on visiting Capri and Ischia) and many other sightseeing musts. Also many places to eat and stores around the block. The host was also extremely helpful, charming and attentive. She allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby and do check-in early as we were ready visit and sightsee many places as soon as we got there around noon. She was also of great help after we checked-out, as I accidentally left the car keys in the lobby, I was able to recover them. All in all we had a great experience and time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

We were delighted to stay at Villa Maria it is a top hotel one minute walk from the main drag / 5 minutes into the town centre. Our room on the fourth floor was perfectly good double with a shower room. NB - if you are a big fatty you will consider the room small and not be happy about it! The room was clean and cleaned regularly, linen good. The decor in the loo (floral tiles) is perhaps dated but quite kitsch, all good. The water pressure in the shower could be better but that’s the same the world over! Some hooks in the room would be useful and easy change I would recommend. NB - if you are a precious prima-donna who thinks everything is beneath them you will hate it! We had a wee balcony at the back which I really liked - a bit like the view from a train when you see the world from behind - looking out on the the everyday life of the world and his wife in Sorrento. The dining room was airy, bright and busy and the staff very friendly. We only went for breakfast which was adequate (ie there was stuff to eat) but as vegans it was (as it always is the world over) pretty limited. There was plenty bread, jams, muesli , fruit and coffee ( with soy milk - that was much appreciated). Although half board we didn’t eat dinner at all in the hotel for the reasons. I’m sure the maitre d and chef would have ‘adapted’ something from the dinner menu ( which I see from other reviews people have praised them for) but on a matter of principle for me a dish either is or isn’t vegan. In a nation famed for its seafood and charcuterie what else should I expect! The pool & pool area was great, never too busy and really relaxed. My only word of warning be mindful of how many Cokes and bowls of chips you have! They are not cheap and it may catch up on you, as it did me at check out! On floor 6 there is a superb sun deck with awesome views for sunset which was bizarrely underused, quite often we were the only people up there (which I liked!). The lifts are little and slow, but expect on arrival and departure with suitcases , all able bodied people should do as we did and use the stairs, especially if you are a big fatty! The reception staff were the best, greeting us like friends every time we came and went, they also write the most withering and hilarious responses to negative reviews on here which really made me laugh! Overall great, I would heartily recommend you book Villa Maria (unless you are a big fatty) Thanks x

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is good, just opposite the port. Convenient to meet the guides for the tour to Capri, amalfi coast etc. Breakfast was average, was expecting a better range in the buffet breakfast. The lobby staff were fantastic, very helpful, accommodating and offering their advice where ever possible. We were allocated a room, which was big and comfortable but it was close to the roof top bar, which made it a bit too noisy for us as we were leaving early in the morning to catch our tours. We requested for the room to be changed, which they did even though they were full, still managed to change the room for us. Now we had a room that was much quieter but it turned out to be smaller than our previous room which had a small varanda, we used thst for our luggage. I guess we shouldn't complain as the staff accommodated us and still changed the room for which we grateful. The walk from the hotel to tasso square is steep and have many steps to go up only good for the fit young people. We attempted it on one occasion, needless to say we stopped a few times on the way to the top. We came back the same route with a slight diversion where we didn't have to climb down as many steps as we had to climb up. Half way down to the hotel, we stopped at a flat level and the view from there of the port was amazing. The port and the vessels all lit up. It compensated the climb down. For the less fit people, there was an alternative, walk down a small alley for about 6 minutes and there was a lift up to the square, it cost euro 2 for a return journey. Considering the steep steps up, well worth the 2 euros for the lift. Over all an enjoyable stay. If not for anything else the staff. Thank you all.

We stayed at Chez Moi for 4 nights. The hotel is located very near the Napoli Centrale station and thus, it is very easy to take the train to various other cities. Also the harbour (the ferries to Amalfi, Capri etc) is within walking distance. Even though they say that Napoli is unsafe and full of thieves, we did not experience the area where the hotel is located as such. Our room window was to the courtyard so we did not hear anything from the street. Our room had been changed without telling us in advance to another, smaller room but we received compensation so we were okay with that. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfy but a minus goes to the bathroom. It was in a serious need of updating and the shower did not work very well. At some point during our stay, the toilet chair started leaking water but the staff fixed it quickly. The balconies are not real balconies but so called French balconies where you cannot sit. The air conditioner worked well. Our room was located next to the reception and our door did not block any noice so starting at 7 am we started hearing the door bell and the phone ringing etc. The cleaning of the room worked as excepted. Not sure if the bed sheets were changed every day but the towels were. The breakfast was OK, really nothing to highlight but it worked. The staff was friendly but sometimes we could hear them to our room arguing loudly with other guests. If you are looking for a budget hotel with a great location, we would recommend this hotel. PPioneer59232668428Hotel is rated 1* for a reason so one needs to have appropriate expectations. Location has its pros and cons. Very close to the main station and drop off place of the airport shuttle. Unfortunately this is also very poor area of Napoli - people sleeping on the sidewalks, low cleanliness etc. Hotel reception is on the second floor, no elevator. One needs to get buzzed to enter the building. Rooms are sp****ly furnished, relatively clean even though bedding should be replaced or at least thoroughly cleaned. Air conditioning in the room works well. There are shared bathrooms (2) next to the reception, so bear that in mind. Bring your own toiletries. There is also shared kitchen. Small fridge, barely one or two forks or spoons. My biggest concern however is the staff. The man working at the reception seems to not like his job at all. It’s more like he was sentenced to a forced labor. He doesn’t talk, forget any welcoming pleasantries or anything like that. He can’t care less. Smile is also unknown thing for him. Basically he doesn’t like interacting with people. If you can, don’t bother him, you will save yourself time. Otherwise if you are fine with hostel like accommodation in a little shabby area, this will be ok place for you.
