I chose it among various hotels because my companion was accumulating points for Toyoko Inn. ２ All that you can't do is travel in the midwinter of the beginning of the month. At the corner of the road 々 there is a mountain of snow when snow is removed, and the road surface is ice burn or ice itself. It was far from the station, but it was enough to walk to the station and to shop at the AEON Mall in front of the station. The breakfast buffet was a bit congested with poor arrangement of dishes and room for improvement. The location of the parking lot is difficult to understand, and once I parked and asked the front desk about the location, the snow removal mountain was high and I didn't know where to turn, so I decided to run backwards on one-way street to access the parking lot. When I was guided at the front desk, I think it was okay to say, ”Please be careful because the road in front of the parking lot is one-way.” Overall, the service is not good and I feel uncomfortable. Is it the color of the manager? The facilities of the room and hotel are stable Toyoko Inn quality. It is ”equivalent to the price”.

As the name suggests, it is located on the east side of Asahikawa Station, so it was a convenient place to walk around the street in front of the station. I experienced it for the first time this time, but until now, most of breakfast was buffet style, but this time it was sometimes a corona sickness, so it was changed to a lunch box style. Each of them went to the front desk on the １ floor to get a lunch box and eat it in the room, so I was able to eat with peace of mind without contacting people.

What really makes this a wonderful experience is how homey Michael and his family personalize the experience. The breakfast they offer with the eggs benedicts are high quality as are the cafe drinks. They really enjoy getting to know their customers and provide a touch of hospitality that resembles a modern day bed and breakfast. This stay was a very memorable one and they went well out of their way to help us and provide ideas to improve our vacation. The one downside to this property is that the bathrooms are really small and the parking for the hotel isn’t immediately evident (you have to park in the gravel lot across the street where they have signs).
