GGuest UserA++++ Ryokan. Our entire experience was amazing. The staff was so courteous and helpful. The level of service was top notch. Check in - they sat us down in the lobby, provided slippers, drinks, snacks, while reviewing the amenities of the hotel. Onsen - public onsen was super clean, nice hot mineral water, cold bath, great showers and top notch products - lotion, creams, soaps, towels, etc. In Room Onsen - filled fast, luxurious, room for two. Nice and private for a couple. Food - had breakfast and dinner. Amazing. Dinner was about $100 USD per person. plated exquisitely. Lounge - cocktails and whiskey (many are included in the stay). Bartender was super friendly. 10/10, will do it again.

77samuraiWe visited Sapporo for the snow festival in Feb 2020. We selected the Leopalace based on location/price and reviews. On arrival, due to the weather and late night we decided to take a taxi to the hotel, this cost about Y1000. (after our stay it was fine weather, so we walked back to the JR station which took about 15 minutes). NB - neither my wife or myself speak Japanese, just a few phrases. Check in at the hotel was easy and straight forward, and we were directed to lifts behind reception. Our room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. We chose not to book breakfasts, we were there for the snow festival so there was a huge variety of fresh market style food available. The hotel was a very short walk from the main avenue where the festival is held. There is 7/11 located on the corner of the hotel and also a long shopping arcade a couple of minutes walkaway. We wanted to use the hotels spa facility which is shown to be on floor 9. we put on the robes provided but having taken the lift up to floor 9 we found only bedrooms. so we called reception and mistakenly asked for direction to the onsen (we should have said public bath) because we asked for the wrong thing we were told the hotel does not have an onsen and then they hung up the phone. So I changed in to regular clothes went to reception and eventually worked out that the only way to the spa was via another lift in reception. Because we had to walk through reception we elected to wear regular clothes which was fortunate because eonce we found the spa area there were large signs telling you in English) not to wear your robes in reception, of course by the time you read that in the spa you would have already walked through reception. I don't mind if there is little English signage but if you take the time to have English translations put them where they can be of use - IN THE ROOMS. (oh and you need to take the towels from your room to use in the spa too) . We found the room temperature very comfortable and both slept well during our stay. We asked the reception to make a dinner reservation for us at a popular restaurant for our second night, this took a little while as initially they assumed we wanted to book into the hotel resturant, but once we passed this confusion they reception were very helpful. Making sure we had our booking reference and even showing us on a map where it was (even though we already knew this). Other than the phone call about the onsen/bath we found the reception staff very friendly and willing to help.

Booked a triple room & size is considered acceptable for Japan standard. Room is clean & well equipped wt TV, wifi, hair dryer, fridge etc. However, water bottle was only provided once on check in & thereafter no refill of water bottle. Vending machine & ice dispenser are available on my floor.

AAnonymous UserIt's a self check in hostel but the check in procedure is easy to understand after reading carefully the email upon booking confirmation. Our room is bunk beds type with private toilet and bathroom, the water pressure is awesome. The overall cleanliness is great. There are a lot paid parking areas nearby, I believe the nearest opposite one is the cheapest. So sad that we didn't manage to find any cutlery in the common area that we couldn't have our hot cup noodles. Deodorize spray is provided and air purifier humidifier is also provided in the room. It's a plus plus plus that the charging ports are everywhere near the each bed.

GGuest UserThe location was quite convenient as it was not far from the Sapporo station, so it was very easy to get around by train and bus. The room was quite small but I guess it was expected considering the price. I misplaced the room key (old fashioned key, not a card key) and although the hotel charged me JPY5,500 for the lost kay, they refunded it back to me after I found the key later.
I have to also mention the buffet breakfast. It was only JPY1,500 per person but it was excellent and a real value for money! We usually don't eat breakfast at hotels but I'm glad we did this time.

OOnanongThis is an excellent place to stay in Hokkaido. The location is quite convenient to get to, and there’s an affordable car park available at the entrance of the alley. The surrounding area has restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The accommodation is not far from Susukino district, and it’s about a 15-20 minute walk. The check-in process might be a bit complicated, but the host provides clear and helpful instructions.
The interior is more spacious than I expected. Upon entering, there are two wardrobes where you can hang coats or winter clothes, with plenty of hangers provided. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 shower rooms, and 2 sinks. Bathroom amenities include towels, head towels, soap, shampoo, and extras like hair ties, cotton buds, and shower caps. A washing machine is also available, complete with detergent, bleach, and drying racks. Clothes can be dried using the heat from the heater, which is very convenient.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove, microwave, kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, and even a sink. In the living room, there’s a dining table with chairs, a sofa set with a coffee table, and a TV. Beyond that is the sleeping area, which has one large bed and two bunk beds. Each bed has its own power outlet for charging devices, which is fantastic. There’s also a small table by the window, perfect for use as a makeup station.
This is a place I would love to stay at again. It holds wonderful memories for me, and I can still picture how everything looks. Thank you for providing such a lovely and reasonably priced accommodation. I absolutely love this place!

Jozankei is famous for its red leaves, and there are also many interesting kappa legends circulated. Therefore, when walking in Jozankei Hot Spring Street, the valley is not only full of red maples, but also you can see kappa decorations from time to time~ Although it is winter this time During the visit, there were no red leaves, but the beauty was not diminished.

华华盛顿🐯When I arrived at Hokkaido University Q, I had to go to his museum and farm wherever I went. This is the largest university in Japan and the museum is great. I visited Hokkaido University and his comprehensive museum. I felt like I wanted to go to the university a few more times and study different departments. Hokkaido University has a beautiful scenery, few people, and you can stroll leisurely. Sitting leisurely on the lawn, there is a small river and the central lawn from the south gate. Go north and then go to the museum, ⑨ Hokkaido University Comprehensive Museum Museum collection a large number of Hokkaido natural ecology related specimens, covering plants, animals, insects, fossils, etc. These include species unique to Hokkaido, such as Hokkaido brown bears and Hokkaido short-tailed scorpion, showing Hokkaido's unique ecosystem. The museum introduces history, educational concepts, and Nobel laureates first. Then there is a module one module, each department has a small exhibition hall, like going to a lot of different museums mini versions. There are places to eat, of course there is ice cream, there are ice cream everywhere, there are souvenir shops, and even egg twisters.
Nakajima Park
