It’s a really worthwhile hotel. I don’t think it’s great to look at the photos, but after I arrive, I feel much better than the photos. It’s very suitable for a lazy stay for a few days. Large, breakfast is very average, but compared to the tree house that I lived in later, it seems to be the same. The cat followed us from the moment we entered the hotel. Except for watching when we were swimming, it followed us all the time and acted like a baby. He went into the room and crawled onto the bed unceremoniously and wanted to take it back.

Stayed in countless hotels in Phuket and nearby islands, this hotel should be the most cost-effective. Although the breakfast is average, the service attitude is super good and the scenery is beautiful. We arrived early at 8 o'clock to check in soon, and provided free breakfast. House keeping five waiters were fast and good. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is still under construction. The environment on the road is not as good as Six Senses, but the price is too conscience compared with Six Senses. There is a convenience store more than 100 meters away from the hotel, and it is very convenient to rent a motorcycle to town. There are many cheap and delicious restaurants around.

Ninaa is just an awesome host! very welcoming, friendly, any question is super easy to solve and it’s pleasant to talk to her. The same as with people surrounding her. I would stay more, but it was fully booked already, people love this place, simple and cosy, wooden houses, calm courtyard hidden in trees.

We are so happy we chose to stay at SAM SAM and Koh Yao Noi! This hotel is a unique experience, full of beautiful art, kind and attentive staff, beautiful grounds with views of the surrounding jungle hills, and tucked away from the rest of the town. Each villa/suite seems to be incredibly private which I think is hard to find in other hotels. The basics are covered: breakfasts were delicious, beds comfortable, great AC, everything you expect from a nice hotel, but there were many extras as well! From the nice gym to the dojo to the scooter and bike rental to the table tennis, and more including many experiences. They booked all of our travel from our previous hotel in Phuket, to our next hotel in Krabi. It’s nice to feel cared for like this! We will be daydreaming about Koh Yao Noi and our time at SAM SAM until we are able to return again! Highly recommended!

We were looking for the perfect tropical island, a paradise with few tourists and village-life. We finally found what we were looking for in Koh Yao Noi. The locals of Koh Yao Noi were some of the friendliest we had come across in Thailand. For a country that’s full of welcoming, warm people, that’s really saying something. Then it was Dan’s Koyao Retreat and the great host. Sin and the ladies took such a great care of us. It felt like we were staying in a home. Luckily we were alone during our stay. They offer three villas tucked away in the greenery, a private pool with a fantastic view and is visited by all kinds of birds, including hornbills. There are a handful of great restaurants and a beach at walking distance, and scooters and bikes are provided to explore the rest of the island. Service includes breakfast and afternoon tea, and they can organize fantastic massages, other meals and activities on request. We travel a lot and this is the best place we´ve ever stayed at. We will never forget the sunrise, the sounds and the views, the atmosphere and the warm hospitality. We will be back.

The best hotel in our entire visit to Thailand. We stayed in Villa 2 with the infinity pool and the most incredible views. Sumai, and the other amazing members of the team could not do enough for us. We spent 4 nights and could have stayed way longer. We ordered several times from the restaurant and the highlight was the green curry and the chicken roti, delicious! The resort overlooks a beach which isn’t suitable for swimming but we hired a scooter to explore, and found some lovely beaches on the other side of the island. The island is still very unspoilt so it was great to visit and appreciate the villages and countryside. We also went on a private longboat trip which we organised through the hotel. Sumai and the team were up early and insisted on making us a packed breakfast and lunch to take with us. We felt very well looked after from start to finish and we will definitely make sure we visit next time we travel to Thailand.

We had beef massaman curry and chicken with cashew nuts and both were exceptional - best meals in 3 weeks of travelling Thailand! Home cooked authentic food with fresh ingredients ! Would eat here everyday if possible - don’t miss it if on Kia Yao noi

GGuest UserThe best hotel in our entire visit to Thailand. We stayed in Villa 2 with the infinity pool and the most incredible views. Sumai, and the other amazing members of the team could not do enough for us. We spent 4 nights and could have stayed way longer. We ordered several times from the restaurant and the highlight was the green curry and the chicken roti, delicious! The resort overlooks a beach which isn’t suitable for swimming but we hired a scooter to explore, and found some lovely beaches on the other side of the island. The island is still very unspoilt so it was great to visit and appreciate the villages and countryside. We also went on a private longboat trip which we organised through the hotel. Sumai and the team were up early and insisted on making us a packed breakfast and lunch to take with us. We felt very well looked after from start to finish and we will definitely make sure we visit next time we travel to Thailand.

GGuest UserWe were looking for the perfect tropical island, a paradise with few tourists and village-life. We finally found what we were looking for in Koh Yao Noi. The locals of Koh Yao Noi were some of the friendliest we had come across in Thailand. For a country that’s full of welcoming, warm people, that’s really saying something. Then it was Dan’s Koyao Retreat and the great host. Sin and the ladies took such a great care of us. It felt like we were staying in a home. Luckily we were alone during our stay. They offer three villas tucked away in the greenery, a private pool with a fantastic view and is visited by all kinds of birds, including hornbills. There are a handful of great restaurants and a beach at walking distance, and scooters and bikes are provided to explore the rest of the island. Service includes breakfast and afternoon tea, and they can organize fantastic massages, other meals and activities on request. We travel a lot and this is the best place we´ve ever stayed at. We will never forget the sunrise, the sounds and the views, the atmosphere and the warm hospitality. We will be back.

GGuest UserWe are so happy we chose to stay at SAM SAM and Koh Yao Noi! This hotel is a unique experience, full of beautiful art, kind and attentive staff, beautiful grounds with views of the surrounding jungle hills, and tucked away from the rest of the town. Each villa/suite seems to be incredibly private which I think is hard to find in other hotels. The basics are covered: breakfasts were delicious, beds comfortable, great AC, everything you expect from a nice hotel, but there were many extras as well! From the nice gym to the dojo to the scooter and bike rental to the table tennis, and more including many experiences. They booked all of our travel from our previous hotel in Phuket, to our next hotel in Krabi. It’s nice to feel cared for like this! We will be daydreaming about Koh Yao Noi and our time at SAM SAM until we are able to return again! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserOur stay at the The Treehouse Villas was quite simply magnificent! The 2 level treehouse's are so amazing its difficult to describe them. The setting on the edge of a tropical forest is stunning, with limestone cliffs, lush green forestry, and beach all around. The staff are genuinely so nice and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Everything we saw while there gave us the WOW factor, and the attention to detail was amazing. It's the perfect ending to a multi trip holiday in Thailand, we will definitely be visiting again next year.

Although it is a little far away from Phuket, it takes about 50 minutes by boat, but the environment on the island is really good, and it is very quiet, which is very suitable for vacation. The hotel is basically full of European and American tourists. We also talked to a couple from Germany. They said they were repeat customers. They especially liked it, so they went on holiday again. There is a big swing on the beach, it's super popular! There is also a small swing in the room, and it is a pleasant time to take a nap on it at noon. The restaurant has to add a service fee. The overall price is a bit expensive, but the portion of the dish is large and it is on the island, so it is normal for the price to be a little expensive. There are Thai food and Western food. I think the taste is very good and delicious! There was a singer at night, and the atmosphere was great. Overall very satisfied, I have the opportunity to take my parents back again!

GGuest UserJust returned after 5 days at this little gem in Thailand. From the moment we arrived we were met by most helpful staff who could not do enough to please. We had a delightful well appointed bungalow within 50m of the sea with uninterrupted views of the sea and islands. Caroline and Mederic were the resort managers with Mederic, trained in Michelin star restaurants, heading up the catering. His expertise certainly showed with a fantastic sunset meal in the Tent up the hill behind the resort that lived up to his Michelin training!! We had trips to the islands in a longtail boat to ourselves with swimming, snorkelling and picnic. In all an excellent holiday that lived upto and beyond our expectations!!

PP—BNinaa is just an awesome host! very welcoming, friendly, any question is super easy to solve and it’s pleasant to talk to her. The same as with people surrounding her. I would stay more, but it was fully booked already, people love this place, simple and cosy, wooden houses, calm courtyard hidden in trees.

GGuest UserCape Kudu was the perfect island getaway. With that being said, the location is very secluded and requires multiple methods of transport. Although necessary and obvious for an island stay to be secluded, there could be increased methods of getting to the island. Service was impeccable. We celebrated a birthday here and the staff left a small complimentary cake in our room on the day of! They really go above and behind to make your stay amazing. Breakfast is also great - an immense assortment. There’s a roti station, egg station and lots of local and Western dishes available. Overall, would definitely stay at the Cape locations around Thailand!

GGuest UserIt’s a really worthwhile hotel. I don’t think it’s great to look at the photos, but after I arrive, I feel much better than the photos. It’s very suitable for a lazy stay for a few days. Large, breakfast is very average, but compared to the tree house that I lived in later, it seems to be the same. The cat followed us from the moment we entered the hotel. Except for watching when we were swimming, it followed us all the time and acted like a baby. He went into the room and crawled onto the bed unceremoniously and wanted to take it back.
