Superb location with our room overlooking the fields and a lovely swimming pool with loungers- again with countryside views. Extensive grounds including a large pond and vegetable garden. Good A/C in room and poolside bar - essential when we were there as 42 degrees and too hot to eat outside. Pool restaurant serves breakfast (simple menu) and lunch/dinner meals. Disappointing that the main restaurant was closed during our stay so we had dinner in the pool bar which lacked atmosphere. Room was large and had a good bathroom - could probably do with a light refresh at some point. Good hotel to base yourself at for a couple of days to see the wonderful Sukothai and Si Satchanalai temple complexes.

The accommodation is very cute. Forgot to take a photo of the front. The atmosphere is good. There's a fitness center, swimming pool, and onsen. Very suitable for relaxing. Stay in the hotel, no need to go anywhere. The atmosphere is good and quiet even though you are in the city. But on the day we went there were a lot of insects. Probably because there are a lot of trees 😂😂 Got bitten by mosquitoes all over my arm. And there were a lot of moths. Overall good, worth the price of 1000 baht including breakfast. The food is very delicious. It's a normal side dish, like rice porridge and bread.

Excellent value for this beautiful place. Room was big very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also big and very well appointed with nice thick fresh towels. Lots of hot water and reasonable pressure in the shower. Nice courtyard and pool area. Delicious breakfast. Amazing value for all the charm and comfort this place offers in very close proximity to all the historical Temples.

The environment is very good, pay attention to the location in the new city, not the old city, and 12 kilometers from Sukhothai Historical Park, but because of the environment, especially the service is very good, and there are free cars to send you to the bus station or bus station, so this point Distance is not a problem anymore. The front desk service is really professional and good. The swimming pool is very clean, there are basically no Chinese, all foreigners.
Our house is relatively simple, I don’t know if the expensive ones are different, but the facilities are complete.
Bar’s restaurant is more expensive than outside, but the environment is good, we go for a drink every night. It tastes good when cooked. If you don’t want to eat in the store, there are also night market roadside stalls and fruits within a short walk, which is not bad. In short, if you don't want to live in the old city, or stay in Sukhothai for more than 2 days, this is a good choice.

Location is probably main plus for Pai Sukothai resort with it's relative close location to the centre of the town. The night market area is literally a 5 minute walk away and even closer there's a bunch of nice restaurants and bars to chill out at after a day exploring. The bus terminal is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. Not all staff speak English, none of them when we arrived, which caused a bit of confusion as they couldn't find our booking. But a phone call sorted it all out and we were checked in. Breakfast was good with some mornings the option to choose from a few set menu options and other mornings the same ingredients where available in buffet form (probably because they had much more people staying that night). The room was spacious and cleaned every day, bed was comfortable and large and there was even a sofa in the room. Only thing that isn't as glamorous as the photos anymore is the swimming pool area. Still able to swim if you want and clean just a little more run down than the pictures. Still think this is a great option if you're planning to stay in Sukothai.

This standard hotel offers a decent value for a private room and private parking, especially if you're traveling by car or motorcycle. However, be prepared for a bit of a workout if you're assigned a room on the third floor, as there's no elevator. The location can feel a bit isolated, particularly if you don't have your own transportation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay more pleasant. If you're just passing through and need a budget-friendly place to stay with parking, this hotel is a solid choice.

I really like this hotel. From check-in until check-out, everything was perfect. The entire place was super clean and looked and functioned as though it was brand new. The room was on the 2nd floor and had a large comfy bed, table and chairs, dressing table, fridge and kettle, smart TV with apps, and hot shower. Wish there was a bedside table with a reading lamp. Nice view looking over the swimming pool. The pool was refreshing, and was the cleanest pool I've swam in for quite a long time. Location is set off the main road, about 10 minutes walk. Slight inconvenience but worth it for the quiet sleep. Staff were great. Wish I could have stayed longer.

GGuest UserWe had a most delightful experience at smiling face guest house. It is a fabulous location, couple of minutes to local market and then out front of market to some extremely good restaurants. The hosting family are so very lovely and helpful. We were given a map on arrival and explained a bit about what to see in Sukhothai. Guest house has free bikes for guest use, so off we went to the historical park, awesome, but best on a bike, not a walk, too much to see. Anyway back to smiling face, the room was spotless and the vibe was friendly and comfy. We had a really positive experience and I would recommend anyone to stay here and see the wonders of Sukhothai. Don’t miss weekend night market!

GGuest UserThe hotel is well placed for the visit of the historic park, the possibility of parking its car or scooter. There is a swimming pool we have not tested. The room that gave on the pool is pleasant but a little small. The bathroom is not at the level and its lighting is poor. It is regrettable that the hotel does not offer any breakfast, even paying, because there is no business nearby. The benefits are very low and the contact with staff (too discreet) is limited. The price-quality ratio is not terrible, I prefer the Thai Thai hotel, more welcome and offering breakfast, it is near Vienna and shares the same direction.

It is in new Sukhothai so keep that in mind if you want to visit the historical park, but the location in new Sukhothai is great, right near the centre of town on the river. The service is also excellent. On the day we wanted to go to the historical park, we were attempting to book a grab (thai uber) to take us there, but none were available. We went out into the street and there wasn't a taxi or tuktuk in sight. We went inside and asked the owner Mr. Toh, who was at the reception desk at the time, if he could call us a taxi to take us to the park. ”Nonsense” he said, ”I will take you myself”. Yeah! Seriously! The hotel owner drove us in his personal car the 30min drive to old Sukhothai. Not only that though, when we got there, ho drove us to his favourite sights on the outskirts of the park. Sights we probably would not have made it to if were walking around, and they ended up being some of our favourites! Furthermore, we had an early morning departure on our final day, and he woke up early just for us, just so we could check out and he could say goodbye. My Toh, you made our trip to Sukhothai very special, and because of you, it was one of the highlights of the trip, thankyou!

Jjosu****Backpackers can walk to Sukhothai Bus Terminal, close to the night market, naturally alarms in the temple in the morning, start early in the morning, and the morning market is right in front of you, so you can solve it. Yes. You can go to Sukhothai National Park directly, but I think you have to take a tuk-tuk. The bedding is clean.
