the pool is so long and is the main highlight of this resort. rooms are quite spacious. mattress topper makes sleeping really comfortable. resort look spectacular in a lot of ways. highly recommended.

The breakfast is pretty good, and you can have breakfast by the beach. The hotel’s service is very good and will lead you to the room to explain what is charged and free. The hotel also has a swimming pool. More than 400 rooms are very cost-effective and the hotel is also very beautiful. , Feel like a garden, highly recommended

This is a lovely resort. Nice and quite not far from bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area very nice clean and lots of loungers. Breakfast tasty something different offered every day. Room clean and spacious bed comfy shower nice warm water. We have enjoyed our visit here and highly recommend.

Fabulous little resort. We have been travelling Thailand for 5 months and this resort is in my top 2 as everything was perfect. Stayed in a pool villa. The pool is really for sitting however very good for cooling off with a drink. The room was spotless and big. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and clean. Bathroom had everything and was spacious with huge shower. The main pool is very clean and modern looking. Staff super friendly. You will need a car or taxi or scooter. We had a car so no problem. The resort is at the north end of the area. Was a little tricky to find but turn left at the road sign and drive down the track you come into the back of the resort. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was served to you. Great coffee! Standard Thai Brekky eggs toast fruit etc enough to start your day.

It was only for one night, but it's OK. I miss a pool for longer stay. The reception was no longer occupied than we arrived there at 20:30, the room keys were on the reception venue and on a sign, unfortunately only in Thai, to call the telephone number. Fortunately, my wife is Thai and could quickly clear everything with the lady on the phone and we knew what our room key is. The bed might need a new mattress, but it was ok. All in everything for one night okay.

Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.

We upgraded from 2 suites from a package TUI booking pool villa 838 costing about 42K THB for 14 nights in November and December 2022. 2 adults, and 2 kids age 17 and 10 so the privacy of a private pool was one of our highlights of the holiday. This is such a peaceful resort with beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. Notably Emme, Gift, Mark, Tee, Big, Yuda, Tar, Pecky and Winai. This resort is not within walking distance of town / Biang Nang market area, and a taxi to go there will set you back 300 THB each way from the guys on the beach outside the gate. That's the going rate both ways so don't be conned by a chancer. In the resort there's 2 restaurants, one's a buffet and the Napalai on the villa side of the river and you can eat from both if you upgrade. There are 2 swimming pools, several bars and organised trips to temples, islands, local markets, animal sanctuaries offered from the front desk or holiday rep so you aren't cut off from civilisation by being in such a remote area surrounded by beach and jungle, which is actually a plus point if you're a surfer, nature or beach lover because this resort scores a 10 if that's what interests you. We didn't travel to Thailand for the nightlife, just to chill in some winter sun. There's ample entertainment just 10 minutes away from the resort, in town or Memories bar, but if you want boom, boom, boom and all night drinking go to Phuket instead. I'd definitely return, but not with children.

AAlexhoThis resort was excellent! I travelled here my girlfriend for the weekend and it exceeded all of expectations. The location is perfect right next to the beach, and the hospitality of the staff were unparralled. The breakfast was delicious with many options, and my room was very spacious, comfortable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone and I would love to come back again if we visit Khao Lak again.

First hostel with no guarantee for the key. First hostel in 35 days in Thai to give e a proper wai. EXcellent English. Nice kitchen, biscuits coffee and tea and water through the day. Access to shower after check out. Etc As a suggestion to make it even better: It is more about personal preferences - lack of curtains to the beds mainly. Some people complained about the music from a neighboring bar. To me it was not too loud.

GGuest UserGreat location on a lovely beach. Only 5 minutes into Khao Lak in a taxi (100bhts) or 150bhts for 4 people. Rooms were very spacious. The bed was very hard BUT ask reception and they will have a mattress topper put on straight away, this was much better. Bathrooms were a little dated but everything worked. Found it a little odd to have the wardrobes, kettle and fridge in the bathroom but they are in a cupboard so had no issues with it. The aircon kept the rooms super cool. Pools and bar were lovely, although it was a bit of a sunbed challenge to get a towel on while we were there. The massages in the hotel were super. All the staff were helpful, and seemed very happy We would most definitely go back there, a very relaxing, tranquil, peace of heaven

GGuest UserThe hotel staff speaks english and is very helpful. The villas are old and dated, internet access works only from the common area and you have plenty of stairs to climb. What this place has going for it is the location. It’s settled on a hillside and each little villa is overlooking the ocean combined with a tropical vegetation setting a beautiful accent. Unless you want to spend a fortune, there is no other place beating these views. I will come back.

Outside my room , two chairs and a small table where i could relax after a refreshing jump into the clean swimming pool , which was 5 meters from my frontdoor . The very friendly and helpfull staff cleaned my room everyday . Tasty breakfast ( toast , little club- sandwiches , eggs , coffee , orange juice ,..... ). This resort is very well located near many restaurants and shops . About 15 minutes to walk to beautifull Nang Thong Beach . If you have any question of problem during your stay , just go see MUAY . Bbatterseagirl2019In my whole month in Thailand I have never had such an appalling experience. After a long and hot drive here I was half asleep when I arrived. I just wanted a cold drink but the owner was keen to check me in. I had booked a double room with mountain view on booking.com at £25 per night. The owner advised this room would be very noisy and suggested I stay in a room at the back of the hotel. As I was so disorientated I agreed and paid. He then tried to get me to book tours even though on email communication I had said I’d do this when I’d settled in. When I got to the room is was tiny! The air con was poor and the sheets and towels not clean. I’d also been charged the £25 per night rate. When I spoke to him it became apparent that he’d cancelled my booking.com room and put me on the standard room rate. This small room would have been 25% cheaper on booking.com. To me this is immoral but the owner basically said it was tough luck. I could take another small room but it would be at his rate and not the booking.com rate. By this point I was exhausted and in tears. He just kept smiling which really upset me. I said I would not be staying and he obviously kept my money but he was really aggressive when I asked for my passport photocopy and personal details back which he had no right to keep. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had in any hotel around the world. Maybe it was because I was a single female traveller. If you are in Khao Lak to dive please do yourself a favour and go to the Monkey Dive Hostel, the staff there are super helpful and kind.

GGuest UserWords cannot describe how disappointed and disgusted I am with Wandee Bed and Breakfast. In my entire life I have never had such a horrific experience at an accommodation. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly owner. We were informed the air con in our room didn’t work which we were really upset by seeming as we were in 37 degree heat. On arrival to our room we found animal faeces on our bed and pillow case. The wifi wasn’t very strong and the room was very basic which is expected for the price. My boyfriend managed to manually turn on the air con which we were really happy about as the room was so hot. The owner then came knocking on the door and started shouting and arguing with my boyfriend saying that we weren’t allowed to use the air con and that we had to pack our things within 5 minutes and leave the room to go to another room which only had a fan in as she didn’t trust us. It was unnecessarily aggressive and a complete change in the friendly owner we met initially. Me and my boyfriend were so shocked and upset at the way she spoke to us that we decided we wanted to check out and not stay the 3 nights as we didn’t feel comfortable or happy there. She told us we couldn’t get a refund and after more arguing about getting a refund we contacted booking.com to help. She then black mailed us saying she’d only give us a refund if we wrote on paper that we faked our complaint and story to booking.com so she could take a photo and send it to them to get herself out of trouble?! She insulted my boyfriend saying he talked too much and shouted loudly at us. She even threatened she’d call the police as that’s what she’s done to past people who’ve complained. She said she didn’t care if we left a bad review. Her attitude towards us as guests was disgusting and I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here on someone who shouldn’t even have the licence to run a bed and breakfast business in the first place! We booked our stay here as a lot of the past reviews were very positive even about the owner. But it’s all an act! Her true colours really came out and if you’re a backpacker like myself and my boyfriend there are plenty of other cheap hotels with NICE owners, better wifi and rooms with both a fan and air con you can use to book! Oh and no faeces on your bed (that’s a plus!) You’re in Thailand to enjoy your stay, feel comfortable and happy…this place is the last place in Thailand that will make you feel this way. The owner is a malicious, rude and blackmailing woman who I wouldn’t even dare leave my dog with at her appalling excuse for accommodation.

MMaikThe restaurant staff are nice but the management is poor. We celebrated our New Year in the Hotel with boring experience because of poor preparations from the management. Poor coordination between the guests and front desk staff. The resort is not well maintained. We won’t go back here again in the future not unless they will change.
