I booked a two-queen room on 02/09/2023 using a team member code for a stay on Friday, March 3rd, 2023. I checked in using the Hilton Honors app on 03/02/2023. However, on the morning of 03/03/2023, I received a phone call from Reeta informing me the property did not have two queens available (despite my already checking in) and that I had been given a single king. I told Reeta that we have three guests and needed the two queen beds that I had reserved and checked in with, and was informed they could not accommodate my needs. I then asked Reeta to cancel the reservation since we had yet to arrive, and was told she could not do so since it was reserved online using the team member code... Reeta went on to tell me that I would need to cancel through the app, but the app would not allow me to cancel since I already checked in digitally. Thereafter, I called the Hilton Honors reservation number and was told the property could indeed cancel the reservation, but it would need to be done by a manager. I called back and asked for Reeta, and was informed that Alexis Harlan (assistant GM) was standing there the entire time during our first call. Reeta handed the phone to Alexis, and she said she would cancel my reservation... I received a cancelation confirmation email not long thereafter. While checking my credit card statement on 03/07, I see I was still charged for the room! Thereafter, I called the property to ask for the appropriate credit, only to find out there is no manager on duty. If you plan to stay here, it would be wise to make sure you do your due diligence!

I then asked Reeta to cancel the reservation since we had yet to arrive, and was told she could not do so since it was reserved online using the team member code... Reeta went on to tell me that I would need to cancel through the app, but the app would not allow me to cancel since I already checked in digitally. Thereafter, I called the Hilton Honors reservation number and was told the property could indeed cancel the reservation, but it would need to be done by a manager. I called back and asked for Reeta, and was informed that Alexis Harlan (assistant GM) was standing there the entire time during our first call. Reeta handed the phone to Alexis, and she said she would cancel my reservation... I received a cancelation confirmation email not long thereafter. While checking my credit card statement on 03/07, I see I was still charged for the room! Thereafter, I called the property to ask for the appropriate credit, only to find out there is no manager on duty. If you plan to stay here, it would be wise to make sure you do your due diligence!
