Clean and spacious rooms. Location is a 5/10 mins walk from city centre. Lovely coffee shop a few doors down. Don't think Da Lat/this hotel gets a lot of English speaking tourists and communicating with staff was difficult. Don't bother paying for breakfast. It's expensive and you get one option - a tasteless Pho (and in Vietnam if you can't get Pho right then that is troubling). Hotel also doesn't provide complimentary bottled water but shops across the road sell big bottles at reasonable prices. Bed moves a lot and we constantly had to keep rearranging. Aircon is not built into room but we were given a portable unit that works. Basic hotel - get what you pay for.

Good atmosphere, European style, view of pine trees overlooking the city. The room is very clean. The mattress is super soft. No back pain at all. Woke up to find cool air. Hot water, comfortable shower
Located in the middle of the city, easy to enter and exit, no matter where you go. Or it's easy to find something to eat in the city. Not far from the bus terminal as well.
Good service, very helpful. You can also contact us to rent a motorbike.

It was really a nice hotel. Recommended to everyone to stay here. Near the main bus station. You can walk from bus station to this hotel. Also near to many attraction like cable car, coaster, greenland 1 1, clay tunnel. Cheap hotel with full amenities. We book the small bed one 2pax but get the big room with 2 bed. The hotel provide put your luggage early, if you lucky you also can get early check in due to availability at that time. Mine check in the hotel 5am . Owner also kind to help us traveller get the info, can speak english. She was really nice, try to make we comfortable stay at this hotel. Will stay here again if i come to dalat.

The hotel was so adorable! It truly felt like we were in a little fairy village. We arrived a little later in the evening, and the owner, who lives on site was very welcoming. My only downside to our stay was the bathroom. There is no shower curtain, so the water literally gets everywhere. I’m not sure if the smell of urine was coming from the drainage or if it was leaking somewhere from the toilet. Either way that was the only real issue we found. The beds are not very plush so be prepared. Also if you’re like me, and don’t want to leave your physical passport at the desk the entire stay, be prepared to pay 1M VND, to hold as security(you’ll get it back if you have no damages). I wasn’t prepared for that so it took me a little aback. All in all we absolutely enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us. On the day of our departure, the owner called a taxi for us, which saved us almost half of what GRAB was going to charge. If we ever return to Dalat, we would absolutely stay here again!

The room was super clean with a beautiful Mountain View. The breakfast was amazing with different types of fresh food each morning. The waitresses were always polite with a friendly face. I would love to come back to the Brick House Hotel again for sure.

JJeanne MokThe hotel has the greatest awesome European style decorations with the most convenient location, very cool! The hotel staff Trang was very friendly and spoke very good English! The amenities are in high standard! The only thing that the hotel needs to improve is in the bathroom, the shower room has no door nor shower curtain which the water would wet the floor every time taking the shower. Two floor mats was provided when we checkin but only one was provided after, should always provide two floor mats as it'll then be soaking wet; the water tap on the basin was not stable as it turned whenever we turned on the water which i think it should be fixed, even the toilet behind the reception has the same issue. Both are just smal issues. Otherwise, all is GREAT and I'd highly recommend to everyone for this hotel.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from my room. I was treated to a picturesque view.
Conveniently located, Cam Ly Homestay is just a short distance away from the famous Crazy House and within walking distance of other attractions. This makes it an ideal base for exploring Dalat and immersing yourself in the local culture. The homestay's strategic location allowed me to easily access authentic cuisine and experience the city's charm.
Given the chance, I would have extended my stay without hesitation. Cam Ly Homestay's blend of warm hospitality, gorgeous views, and convenient location make it an irresistible choice for anyone visiting Dalat. Be aware that the home stay is about a 45 minute drive traffic dependent from the airport. Instead of using local taxis, download the Grab app and apply a discount for the best way of traveling there. Also be aware that you will pay extra for toll fees. Also be aware that the car can only drop you at the bottom of the alleyway. You’ll need to walk the last 10m uphill. The place ist nice and quiet, feels luxurious, good bedsheets, nice sunset view. Some piano (tv) sound comes from the lobby. Nice Ambiente. Good value for the price. This is not the city center, you take a grab to go somewhere, place can be found as ”d house” on Google maps easily.
Many power outlets, space, tables and some chairs and 2 mirrors in the room. The bedsheets are thick, only 2 sheets for 4 persons but I guess it's for couples.

The indoor slippers hurt my feet with every step, there are many steps to level -2. Cannot take them off because the floor is cold.
When going to toilet or shower, you must bring the toiletpaper, towel, shampoo clothes etc from your room, lock your room, bring your keys, ...

Light cannot be switched from bed, and when entering the room you must first reach behind the door.

AAnonymous UserI booked a dormitory bed. Check on at 14:00 but John allowed me to keep my bags in front of the reception. The location is ok, there is laundry on the right side of the hostel around 200m. They provide hairdryer and clean towel. The bathroom is clean, they also provide shower gel with shampoo. They also have common space at the first floor.
Negative: the dormitory is not a room, the is no door. So anyone can come and go.. the is no personal locker. The overall hostel conditions is not ‘tidy’ as they having renovations on going. I didn’t get any sleep because the other guests are coming in and out, walking, talking on the phone, there is also weird ‘slapping’ sound at 5am for 10-15 minutes (i have no idea what that was) all this noisy are at 2-5 in the morning. The person staying next to my bed came back at 3am.. they absolutely don’t know how to do things quietly. Maybe the owner should remind the guests during checkin. Given the price, its still ok. So, if you want a good sleep, book the private room instead.

Location: It’s very close to town and within walking distance of the Da Lat night market (Chợ Đà Lạt). At night, there are good bars and pubs nearby that you can walk to. For your convenience, there’s a mart on the main road as well. However, the hostel is situated in an alley that cars cannot access, so you’ll need to park on the main road and walk to the hostel.
Service: Top-notch! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they speak English. They let us keep our luggage and relax in the hostel’s common area before and after check-in and check-out. They also provide a common bathroom in case you arrive early or stay late, and they’re happy to call a taxi for you. The best part is that they have motorcycles and bicycles for rent; however, you’ll need to leave your passport with them (we received ours back in good condition).
Amenities: They provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay, though there’s no toothpaste provided. The weather is cool enough that you don’t need air conditioning. There’s a common iron and stove available for use (a small fee applies for the stove).
Cleanliness: Good for a hostel. They have dogs, but there’s no smell or pet hair around.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I'll definitely stay here again.

From Bell to Reception are good and friendly. They are willing to support whenever you need. The wifi is free and good. The restaurant on 5th floor and it is very clean. The restaurant staff is nice and friendly also. When you have a short trip to Da lat, i think this hotel is the choice for you. Although this hotel is not too big, but it is very warmly and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

The owner should hire a person to take care the beautiful artifacts, cars etc. it’s very rare pieces. We stayed for 2 nights but our room nobody clean it even we hang the signage outside our room while we go out almost half day from 13.00pm and came back to our room at 21.00pm. And when we mentioned then staff did apologize. Have many staff I saw but no one maybe do patrol the room, mostly I saw relaxing. Breakfast for two days only noodle soup and the same fruit. I believe that Dalat supplies fruit to most of the region in vietnam but here only served rotten banana and vietnam apple. Seem like nobody supervised staffs when working. I when out to buy fruit very cheap. Your hotel is so good but no quality in food and beverage as well as the service PS: I like your antique collection
