Convair Hotel

Convair Hotel in Ciudad del Este needs a significant refurbishment. The reception area did not look inviting with a refrigerator placed in the reception area. There were two old fashioned armchairs in front of the reception, making it inconvenient to register. When I entered my room, I felt it was a mistake to have booked two nights, because the furniture was from yesteryear. I really felt depressed. Initially there were Spanish and Portuguese language channels on the TV only. It took housekeeping and the receptionist more than 10 minutes to find English language (news) channels, because the TV was cumbersome to operate. The safe was loose and not big enough to safe-keep my iPad, it was also cumbersome to operate. I gave up and kept my valuables in my locked suitcase. The mattress, however, was very firm and really fantastic. The bathroom was also from yesteryear and certainly not clean. I found a small piece of brown dirt next to the WC. It was dry dirt, as I in vain tried to clean it up with toilet paper. After housekeeping had cleaned my room the next day, the dirt in the bathroom was still there. Continental breakfast, with many sweet items, was decent with eggs of choice upon request. I asked the receptionist to recommend a good restaurant for dinner in the neighborhood. He did and told me to get a taxi to take me the 1.0-1.2 km to the restaurant, because the area is not safe after dark. He was adamant that I did not walk the short distance. Indeed, the UBER driver took me through a part of town, where I also deemed it unsafe to walk. However, the immediate vicinity of the hotel looked fairly safe.

Habitacion confortable. Instalaciones en buen estado en generak. Desayuno abundante y bien logrado. Personal con buena predisposicion y amabilidad. Ubicacion optima en la ciudad y proxima al circuito comercial. Cuenta con 2 niveles de estacionamiento Subterraneo.

Hotel super super limpo, café da manhã completo e delicioso, jantar com preços super acessível e de excelente qualidade, porém o que mais amei foi a amabilidade, educação e carinho de todos os funcionários!!! Super recomendo ( localização excelente) 👍👍👍👍

O hotel é bem localizado, porém o restaurante deixa muito a desejar, a qualidade da comida e o atendimentos são péssimos. Nao recomendo. Funcionários grosseiros e nada cordiais, sem nenhuma paciência e vontade.

y la verdad que este hotel me parecio una reverenda poronga, solo vine a este pais para llevarme toda la vestimenta de nike con mi hermano, bbau.04 en instgram y buen viaje, viva la paella paraguaya.

La ubicación es muy buena ya que está a 200 metros de dónde comienza el microcentro que explota de gente entre las 7 y las 15 horas, por lo que es tranquilo y silencioso. Muy buenas zonas comunes, y la habitación cómoda con amplio baño, buena presión de agua caliente, con aire acondicionado funcionando excelente. La 323 estaba algo descuidada en pintura y revoques, pero es mínimo. Desayuno buffet muy variado y una pequeña piscina pero que sirve perfecto para refrescarse. Atención en front desk y desayuno excelentes. Buena relación precio calidad.
