Blue Fish Cove Resort

At Blue Fish Cove the wifi is never more than 2 bars, anywhere, despite the lies they tell you. We went everywhere with our devices and measured it against their lies. They lie! This place is a dive, you will experience problems, So many bad smells, loud cars, its located ON The biggest highway in this county. It is SO LOUD! There is constant employee drama, tacky maids screaming at people. Do not report issues like gas leaks, or human poop leaking in the parking lot, or they will shame you and blame it on you. It's like a creepy dysfunctional family ******* hotel or something. The way they are all inter-related, mean to each other, and such liars to the guests. WEIRD PLACE ALERT!! the owner is like an incarnated demon who doesn't even pay minimum wage!! You really should avoid her and her other dump: "Baldwin's Resort" Baldwin's DUMPS! bursting with leaks and dramas would be a more descriptive name! A much better place is: Lake Place Resort in Glenhaven only 5 minutes further on down the road. They are far off the loud highway. Their view is way more mesmerizing. Their dock is HUGE!-so divine!--(The dock at BFC looks like a jerry rigged mismatched wood floating rig in a trailer park.) The cabins at Lake Place resort are SO much better! cleaner!kept up! A charming Chinese couple runs the lovely Lake Place Resort where the wifi works!!! Do not go to Blue Fish Cove--regret awaits you and a very slummy level of clientele that inhabits there. (Best drug dealers in town apparently.)

This place gave me and my family the worst treatment ever. We rented all their cottages, hoping to have a great family experience. One member of our family got there a day before the rest. She felt as though we was tricked from the pictures. She was told no refunds. My aunt was so disgusted she nearly got back on the plane and flew home. The place from the outside had spider webs and dirt all over the place. Its seriously needs to be pressure hosed from the outside all over. This is only where the problems start. In my beach house cottage the power and stove went out. They stated its a DFI switch or something like that, nevertheless after having a "employee who can fix it." They couldn't find her, she went home. So I had to wait to finish cooking. After about 2 hours they magically came back on. This seems as though its been a ongoing problem from the way they made it sound. Another one of my aunts had to wait for her unit to be painted 3 hours past check it. Yes I said painted! Who paints a unit same day of check in? Well later I find out they had a squatter who wouldn't leave dying there. the place smelled so bad they had to paint it to remove the smell. They wouldve been better off not renting the unit till it was complete. My aunt had to try and sleep there with paint fumes and she has asthma. Lastly mother and I was hanging out till midnight. When it was time for her to goto bed, she discovers her unit flooded from the AC. Her Bedding was soaked. They did come and mop it up and give new bedding. They literally gave the new bedding to my mom. My mother is handicap, the guy claims he has never maid a bed before. My mother could've slipped or gotten electrocuted, the offered no help. Here is the worst part they offered a $50 discount for the trouble. Moral of the story is NEVER got there. They need new owners and management that gives a dam.

The room was specious with great amenities, but it was not clean. The resort was really nice once, but needs a lot of renovation. Be careful!! After midnight, someone typed the correct code into the keypad and entered our room! Fortunately we woke up and yelled, and the person awkwardly said they are housekeeping, which of course makes no sense at midnight. It is unclear what was happening, but nobody should have had the key and access to our room. We felt unsafe and would not stay here again, especially given the area is sketchy overall
