The position is amazing, with the Central Park nearby it's a nice walk to get to the city center. The accommodation is excellent as well, the staff is friendly, and ready to help. There were very few issues, and they were quickly solved by the staff. Also, there was a nice view of the Cluj Stadium which is in itself quite a treat.

I spent a great deal of time at The Hotel Platinia during a business trip and it was fantastic! The rooms are spacious, modern and extremely clean. The hotel staff could not be nicer, they will make sure your stay is very comfortable. The housekeeping services are unparalleled. I had an unusual over night work schedule and they were able to service my room at odd hours. The breakfast is great, and the waitresses were beyond friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. The guy who checked us in was so warm friendly, welcoming and professional - making sure that we were happy with everything to the point that he called us in the room to ensure that we had a complimentary breakfast. We were also given the most incredible upgrade to a suite which was beyond our expectations. We always appreciate the cookies at doubletree, too :) We were just sorry that our flight got in so late - we could have spent so much longer in here if we hadn't been moving on the next day There is limited parking, but as Hilton members, the charge was waived - even though we went out for coffee and a wander in Cluj after we checked out. All of the desk staff were amazing and a credit to the Hilton brand. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for our short but lovely stay. I hope that the management of this hotel truly appreciate their staff. I think that this may be the best experience I've had with Doubletree Hilton after many years of using them

we came here for the day to work and have food and drinks. We were served by Vaidla Catalin. He was brilliant and very attentive. We ate soup, had many beers, a delicious bloody mary and vodka, carrot and beetroot each. Plus coffees. We were here for the whole day working and taking in the atmosphere. I have allergens but the barman was able to talk me through what I could have and they made us feel very welcome. The bar is lovely and we were the only ones there and were able to work quite happily. The wifi is very strong and its nice and quiet. Would come back.

My favorite hotel to stay in while I am in Cluj-Napoca. I think the location is a bit far from the center, but the services and stay compensate for it. There aren't many restaurants close by, but the downstairs restaurant is good, and the service is impeccable. It's a bit more expensive than regular restaurants, but the food is very good. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is professional, ready to help, and always smiling. I have stayed here 3-4 times already and will book again.

We were warned in advance of renovation work being done to the hotel which was very honest of them, but we still decided to stay and were not disturbed by it. The rooms were very nice and calm in decoration. The beds were comfortable. The location is good, about ten mins walk from the Old Town, downhill. We got a taxi back but the hill is actually quite gentle. The staff were friendly and helpful.

You can find cheaper options in the city, but if you need an equipped (almost everything, except the dishwasher) apartment, with a kitchenette, plus a nice balcony with a beautiful view, in a good area of ​​the city, it is strongly recommended to choose this apartment hotel. First of all, unlike many other aparthotels in Cluj, there's the reception working up to 10 PM which is very convenient if you need to ask something important for you, or need any other assistance (anyway, after you get an explanation of how easily enter and leave the apartment, and the building, by using a code, and if everything is good, no real necessity in interaction with the reception). Daily changing towels, taking out the trash, etc', location is great for this city (it looks not scary to walk around that neighborhood even late at night). The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from a side entrance to Iulius Mall. In this big and modern mall there is also a big Aushan supermarket, a big selection of fast food chains, Starbucks and local caffe, etc' for almost every taste. You can also take a walk in the park around the lake and near the mall and the hotel. Taxis with affordable prices in Cluj, especially when you use apps and not catch on the street. Bolt is a bit cheaper than Uber. For example, the trip to airport from the hotel was ~ 30 romanian lei (about 6 euro).

This was a great pick to stay. It was a bit far to walk to the centre but a taxi was 10 minutes and cost nothing. It has free onsite parking if you hire a car. You can walk to the centre, just takes 40 minutes or a bus stop is 5 minutes away. The room was a great size and it was really clean. Everything was new in the room. There wasn’t much to do in the hotel, an eating/drinking area is the most you’ll get but it’s a city break so you don’t need anything else. I’d definitely stay again. Staff spoke really good English and were really friendly. Good value for sure

One night (Monday) at Hotel Paradis Cluj Pros: - Clean beds linens and bathroom - Helpful staff in room reservation and calling a cab - Quiet room on third floor even on the street side - Mini fridge in the room with water, beer, carbonated juices etc. - Buffet with tasty breakfast food at restaurant Cons: - Shower above the tub doesn’t have walls and/or curtain - The tub handle for lifting help was loose on the wall and falls when pull it - Open hatch door in the ceiling for pipes visitation, remaining open from a maintenance intervention (I am assuming) - Definitely not 4 stars hotel - Old building with a specific smell - Overpriced hotel compared to the conditions: $98.55 per one night - Not the best color chosen for furniture as they look dirty - The fabric on the bed head with dirty head marks - The wi-fi password was not provided at check in - Breakfast not included in the price and is paid extra - At the breakfast time between 7:00 and 8:00 a long line occurs due to the slow coffee machine.

It was difficult finding parking in the lot. Very crowded area. They have an underground garage that is accessible only by climbing all the way up to the hotel and asking the hotel clerk to open the garage door for you (using their small hand-held remote). This works if you are traveling with another adult who can do that, but if you are traveling alone, where would you park your car to go up to the reception desk to ask them for the remote to the garage? It's a Catch-22 situation. Breakfast was in a VERY crowded room with tiny rickety tables & chairs. Our bedroom smelled musty.

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. The guy who checked us in was so warm friendly, welcoming and professional - making sure that we were happy with everything to the point that he called us in the room to ensure that we had a complimentary breakfast. We were also given the most incredible upgrade to a suite which was beyond our expectations. We always appreciate the cookies at doubletree, too :) We were just sorry that our flight got in so late - we could have spent so much longer in here if we hadn't been moving on the next day There is limited parking, but as Hilton members, the charge was waived - even though we went out for coffee and a wander in Cluj after we checked out. All of the desk staff were amazing and a credit to the Hilton brand. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for our short but lovely stay. I hope that the management of this hotel truly appreciate their staff. I think that this may be the best experience I've had with Doubletree Hilton after many years of using them

My favorite hotel to stay in while I am in Cluj-Napoca. I think the location is a bit far from the center, but the services and stay compensate for it. There aren't many restaurants close by, but the downstairs restaurant is good, and the service is impeccable. It's a bit more expensive than regular restaurants, but the food is very good. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is professional, ready to help, and always smiling. I have stayed here 3-4 times already and will book again.

We loved our stay ar Hanul! For as little as 50€ per night, totalling 25€ per person, we had a large room with a small living room and large bathroom downstairs and then an upstairs area with our two beds and even a fan! The courtyard is beautiful. All check-in and check-out was done contactless, the team sent me instructions before my arrival. Good location 12 min walk to the Old Town and 15 min walk to the train station. Did not need public transport except for going from thr Airport to there. Thanks!

Liked · Location is within walking distance from the centre and old town, but it is still a 20-25 minute walk. Clean room. Average breakfast. The deep fried zucchini is very good. I had a room towards the yard and it was very quiet (both towards the outside as well as towards the hallway). Disliked · The hotel interior feels sterile and not cozy. Part of the reason for this is that the lighting in the hotel throughout is cold white and in the rooms the lights are much too strong (except bathroom, where it is not strong enough). Suggestion to management: hire a lighting consultant for advice how to change to warmer light to make the lighting work to the hotel's advantage. Also add a few plants here and there to reduce the sterile feeling. I missed fresh bread for breakfast, only toast was available. The music during breakfast was extremely cheesy, elevator style (maybe suitable for pensioners?). However, the real problem was that I was double charged for a one night stay. I was getting suspicious about payment issues already when the owner asked me if I wanted to change the credit card that I had used for the reservation through another website. (Was it to cancel my original reservation in order to avoid paying commission to them?) Since the credit card reservation for the second night was never cancelled even though we decided to stay only one night, I had to write and complain. Despite writing four e-mails about it (of course using the correct e-mail adress) I never got a response from the hotel. Finally I turned to my bank showing them the proof and the bank swiftly reimbursed me for the double payment.

It was difficult finding parking in the lot. Very crowded area. They have an underground garage that is accessible only by climbing all the way up to the hotel and asking the hotel clerk to open the garage door for you (using their small hand-held remote). This works if you are traveling with another adult who can do that, but if you are traveling alone, where would you park your car to go up to the reception desk to ask them for the remote to the garage? It's a Catch-22 situation. Breakfast was in a VERY crowded room with tiny rickety tables & chairs. Our bedroom smelled musty.

we came here for the day to work and have food and drinks. We were served by Vaidla Catalin. He was brilliant and very attentive. We ate soup, had many beers, a delicious bloody mary and vodka, carrot and beetroot each. Plus coffees. We were here for the whole day working and taking in the atmosphere. I have allergens but the barman was able to talk me through what I could have and they made us feel very welcome. The bar is lovely and we were the only ones there and were able to work quite happily. The wifi is very strong and its nice and quiet. Would come back.
