Foundry Masters House

Lovely place to stay. Relaxed and friendly yet professional hosts. Clean and comfortable room that was toasty warm, great shower with piping hot water, soft fluffy towels, nice big bed. Tasty and plentiful breakfast with lots of choice. Stay for an evening meal if you can. We had two as they were so nice! Chatting with other guests around the big dining table was also fun. Great location within walking distance of some of the museums. Off-road parking. We'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay if visiting the Ironbridge/Coalbrookdale Museum area. Very comfortable room with en suite bathroom. Good value and Dawn was very welcoming host serving a great choice for breakfast and evening meals. I'll make a bee line for here if I'm staying in the area again. Bonus for me was listening to the 10 bell church practice on Wednesday evening.

We stayed here for one night, and found it to be a lovely, very friendly and welcoming place to stay. Facilities, the room was lovely, off street parking, excellent wifi. The town of Ironbridge is within very easy walking distance should you want a wander for some food and a beer. Breakfast was excellent, the sausages are highly recommended. I'm certain we'll be back to visit again!

Lovely hospitality received from the lady (Dawn) of the house. Fantastic breakfast with nothing too much trouble. We booked the small double room (1) that was our error, the room was clean & warm but as titled, it was small, however it does have a huge bathroom, good job we are reasonably slim. I would go back but definitely book a different room even if travelling alone. Great base location for ironbridge and surrounding areas. Wonderful period building that has been lovingly restored and decorated. Dawn is a wonderful cook/baker, we sampled her wares (cakes) after returning from a day walking.

This place is a real home from home, a wonderful house and setting, a warm welcome from two lovely hosts, with lovely bedrooms and an excellent shower. After travelling for a number of hours, on a dark and dreary autumnal evening this was just the place for a weary traveller. After a sound sleep in comfortable surroundings, I enjoyed a fantastic feast of a breakfast and left completely rejuvenated for the day ahead. A real find, and a proper B&B. Looking forward to my next visit.

What an excellent find, wanted to get away for a weekend, but where to, without it being a busman's holiday through travelling with work all over the country. Ironbridge popped into my head as I had stayed here for a night years ago so only saw a bit in the dark, then detouring through thinking I must stop and have a proper look one day - so here we are. I had a good look about at accommodation, and I kept coming back to The Foundry Masters House. What a good find it was, a lovely property in a quiet area, and a very warm welcome from Dawn when she answered the door. Our room was very nice, big bed, big bathroom, with the Holy Grail: a decent shower with consistent temperature. It was perfect for what we needed, a nice base from which to explore the history outside the front door and down the road. We were offered the option of an evening meal from a full menu, having driven a good few miles we decided to take the easy option, made easier by the fact that they are licensed. We have to say the food was excellent, as was the company of fellow guests on the shared dining table (they had intended to eat in just one night of their 5 away - they had eaten in every night its that good!). They actually pointed out a trick we missed with the full Ironbridge Museum pass (worth getting even if you are here a short time) if you are a couple get one normal multi pass and for very little more get the enhanced pass - then when you are getting refreshments at the various venues (not the Coalport YHA cafe) use your pass to get the various discounts it gives you.........anyway I digress. Breakfast was the Star though, local produce, a varied choice, decent coffee, and plenty of it, certainly fuelled you up for the day. As I mentioned at the top of my review, I have travelled quite a bit with work and stayed in many accommodations - If I could find a clone of The Foundry Masters House everywhere I needed to stay, I would be happy as Pig in you know what. Lovely friendly owners. Very cosy and comfortable accommodation. Great breakfast. Would definately stay again if in area.

Had a excellent stay. Room spotless, superb facilities. Location perfect to walk into ironbridge. Breakfast, was lovely lots of choice freshly cooked. Host lovely and informative. Definitely recommend
