Casa del Caribe Inn

Horrible experience that left my girlfriend and I stranded in puerto rico in the middle of the night.

This was without a doubt the worst experience my wife and I have had with a rental. And in fact there was no staff at the front desk to check us in in San Juan. We ended up going elsewhere that night but was charged for the room. We intend to complain to American Express and others about having been cheated.

I really liked the location. This inn has the potential to be great. It seemed rather sad. Play some music when people are checking in. Have a small continental breakfast. A small bar. Mini fridge in rooms. Lights around the foliage. We met a guy named Eddy on our last day and he was very caring. He had been at the sister property the whole time we were there. I wish he had been there sooner. Beds were comfy and it was clean. Close to the beach. Good budget place.

Pros: It's amazing location. almost everything walking distance. friendly staff. Cons: No room service like daily cleaning. Wi-Fi wasn't work very well. hot water also sometime not working. Everybody have a same room key-doesn't feel safe. and can't open window. so room is dark and not enough to do much inside of the room. only one hanger in the closet and one chair (but no table) The idea of this Inn , if someone need just place of sleeping and store their luggages , its okay. but if you have families , then I recommend to go little better hotel with some of sunlight and space, have SOME STRONG Wi-Fi.

This property is older compared to surrounding hotels but it has a family run feel. The rooms are rather old but clean . The property is relatively quiet compared to other hotels.

My hotel was very dirty. The bed in the hotel room had bed bugs. The door in the hotel room could not lock. Ended up leaving the hotel to go to a different one.

Flight was delayed for 12 hours so we needed a room for the time until the next flight. The staff was very accommodating in helping us get a room while we had to wait for our flight. Thank you again!

So disappointed from what was pictured on the website. that showed colorful lights on the flora? The overall place including the rooms were dirty. The staff consisted of a teenage boy and his younger brother that were so loud. We tried to sit out and enjoy some wine outside and they were yelling on the phone and just completely obnoxious. It was obvious they didn't care if their customers were comfortable. The morning staff was no better, not making coffee until they wanted it themselves because there isn't any in your room and telling customers they would need to wait for housekeeping to give them clean towels! This place could be so cute as it is historical and if really cared for would check all the boxes. There is room to add a bar, tables and clean it up, fix the fountain to run, change the fire alarm that chirps because it needs a new battery. The room had a shower that drips and can't be turned completely off. We did find our room quiet but not clean. Don't believe them when they tell you the internet isn't working. It's not working because they don't have any internet. Starbucks around the corner was always available.

central location was excellent. staff unhelpful, no refrigeration was a negative. no one advised me on towel exchange. no change of bed linen over course of a week's stay. light breakfast (e.g. fruit,pastry) would have been nice.
