Casa del Caribe Inn

So disappointed from what was pictured on the website. that showed colorful lights on the flora? The overall place including the rooms were dirty. The staff consisted of a teenage boy and his younger brother that were so loud. We tried to sit out and enjoy some wine outside and they were yelling on the phone and just completely obnoxious. It was obvious they didn't care if their customers were comfortable. The morning staff was no better, not making coffee until they wanted it themselves because there isn't any in your room and telling customers they would need to wait for housekeeping to give them clean towels! This place could be so cute as it is historical and if really cared for would check all the boxes. There is room to add a bar, tables and clean it up, fix the fountain to run, change the fire alarm that chirps because it needs a new battery. The room had a shower that drips and can't be turned completely off. We did find our room quiet but not clean. Don't believe them when they tell you the internet isn't working. It's not working because they don't have any internet. Starbucks around the corner was always available.

central location was excellent. staff unhelpful, no refrigeration was a negative. no one advised me on towel exchange. no change of bed linen over course of a week's stay. light breakfast (e.g. fruit,pastry) would have been nice.

The staff is kind, the room was very dirty, it’s close to things, my room was very dark because there were no light bulbs in the lights. You get what you pay for. I wouldent recommend casa del Caribe inn.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great location just off the Main Street, so was quiet. Staff were very helpful.

The room had no windows and was rundown with rusty spots around the tub. It did not look like the pictures we saw online. On the second night, the air conditioner leaked water down the wall, over an electrical outlet and across the floor. It was fixed with caulk, but the wall was still wet. We requested a different room, but no one got back to us until the next day after we complained about a large cockroach floating in the toilet. After a lot of discussion, we were switched to a different hotel where our room was comfortable and had a window. I cannot recommend Casa del Caribe even though it is in an excellent location and the beds were comfortable. It is old, rundown, and the service is very poor.

Very helpful and friendly staff, they make you feel very welcomed and are very informative. You are emailed a list of activities to do as well as restaurants in the area upon check in, which is very helpful. The manager, Eddy was extremely considerate and helpful. The beach is also just a short walk away, which was a big plus.

had a rental car they had no parking and there was no public parking available any where and when i asked what should i do there response was i dont live around here property was filthy and in disrepair. i had to find and stay at a different hotel. the hotel advertised free cancellation and full reimbersment. they would not reimburse my money

It was as I expected for the price. Friendly efficient staff, adequate shower and bedding.

Pros: safe environment for families, 5 minute walk to the beach from the motel, clean sheets, cold a/c, walking distance to Starbucks, Walgreens, CVS pharmacy and lots of dinning options close by. Staff are helpful and are bilingual. Cons: lights can/will flicker in motel, no fridge in room, no vending machines. Overall the stay was great, was worth the value paid and would probably stay there again when I visit next.
