Let me start by saying I don’t typically leave reviews and my husband does not love to travel. I think Calabash Cove has changed his mind. He said, Let’s come here every year!” We visited St. Lucia on a cruise 9 years ago, and it was the only island we felt we had to return to. I stumbled upon Calabash Cove’s website 9 years ago, and we finally made it a reality to visit. We stayed in a Waters Edge Cottage and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We were literally steps from the beach and spent a majority of our time relaxing in our plunge pool or on the porch. The beach was never crowded and there was plenty of seating in the sun and shade. We had a couples massage booked in our cottage but the sun was shining right on the porch. The staff was kind enough to move the living room furniture, and we had the massage in there so the sun wasn’t directly on us. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We left the resort a few times for excursions but if we returned we would likely spend even more time on the resort. We never felt bored. Every evening there was a live local musician which was nice to listen to over dinner. The Manager’s cocktail hour was really fun. I hope we can return one day!

Terrific Vacation! We stayed at Waters Edge Cottage 5 and recommend it highly to all! The staff was wonderful and meals delicious! We would return and pick the same cottage close to beach and with a wonderful plunge pool! The beach was amazing and so clean, loved it!

Wonderful smaller resort for when you don't want to trip over 200 other people. The entire staff was absolutely fantastic, I can't say enough about this. Gorgeous view of the bay and a great little beach. Sunsets never failed to impress. Be aware you will be using a lot of stairs to use the property, but it's worth it. We traveled as a group of 10 and utilized six rooms with all inclusive amenities. Our personal room was an ocean cottage and it could not have been more perfect with it's vintage feel and bay front patio with plunge pool. I will not hesitate to recommend Calabash Cove to anyone looking for a quiet boutique experience. And if I didn't say it before, the staff is amazing.

Fabulous location and wonderful views from any point - staff are very attentive and the No limit all inclusive option is as it states and well having! Food is made to order and they are very accommodating if you want something changed Special mention to Chanel Danny Michael Donna Teddy & Travis Only improvement I would suggest is to have more parasols installed around the pool.

Such a wonderful location. Secluded and well away from the touristy hub although close enough to venture out if you want more action. The food and amenities are top notch and the staff are so cheerful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely week stay in this beautiful resort, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was great. Nothing is ever a problem here and the staff are so helpful and friendly. From Kevin on the front desk to JD on service, was perfect. The room was perfect and it had everything we needed. We got engaged on this holiday and it was the most romantic setting for it to happen. We would recommend this resort to everyone

The property and room were lovely. Beautiful facilities and the view was amazing. The location was also appealing, as you are close enough to Gros Inlet and Rodney Bay, yet far enough away to avoid the ruckus and relax. All that said, the hotel seemed pretty formal about most things. We stayed at another hotel in the south for part of our vacation and we found it super warm and inviting. So, it may have just been the immediate contrast. Don't get me wrong. The staff was perfectly professional and handled everything we asked. Everything just seemed overly formal. Also, I found some of the nightly music to be a bit odd. I expected to hear more local music as opposed to throw-back American music. But, all and all, the property, rooms and staff were lovely.

Spent a whole week here. It's a small resort, so getting around and finding a spot wasn't difficult at all. We did the all inclusive package and it was worth it. Most of our meals were pretty good, with a few mishaps (sometimes the meats were overcooked). The pastas and the veal were some of our favorites along with their eggs benedict. They had a very large cocktail menu, and Mario gave us a fun rum tasting at the restaurant bar. Most of the staff were great, with only a couple who seemed a bit grumpy or annoyed with guests. People who come here are not looking for a party atmosphere but a place to relax and unwind and it definitely fit the bill. The beach was the best part. Great for swimming and perfect for relaxing. Always can find a great spot to sit at the beach or pool. No chair saving games here! I recommend one of the bungalows with the private pool and outdoor shower! We really enjoyed that. Just be aware when you need to get to the lobby or restaurant there are 65 steps to climb, so if you have a disability or unable to move well this may be difficult. We tried the spa and got massages, we wanted to do more spa stuff but the rooms were freezing and the massages were mediocre at best, so not a very enjoyable experience for us. The smells around the resort and in the rooms from all of the fresh flowers were heaven! Our biggest complaint would be the beds, very hard, like a step above laying on concrete, and the sheets were a bit thin and scratchy. The AC worked great in our room, and the sounds and breeze of the ocean with the doors open with the birds singing was just what the doctor ordered. Overall we were pretty happy with this place.

The staff has been extremely attentive to every need. From the concierge team (big thank you to Kevin), to the dining room staff, housekeeping and bartenders, never any less than a smile and a quick response to our requests. Food was consistently very good and we took advantage of the flexibility to eat on our own individual schedule. As this was the site for our daughter's wedding, we were grateful for everyone contributing to making it, in her words, a magical experience.
