Garryvoe Hotel

I have just returned from a wonderful 2 night Stay in the Garryvoe Hotel. Myself and 3 friends went off for a 2 night stay and didn’t want to travel too far and picked this Hotel. Unusually for me, I didn’t put in any research, but was blown away but all the facilities and the Hotel in general. Our rooms for starters were just lovely. Huge rooms with beautifully fresh quality linen on the beds. Spacious bathroom and lovely balcony with view of the Sea. Impressive Coffee maker in the room which was replenished daily, plus fresh water. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and lap pool and also visited the Steam, Sauna and hot tub. All these facilities were first class. Must mention, we all asked for robes and they were delivered pronto to our rooms. We enjoyed lunch when we arrived and Dinner that evening. The Menu was excellent and so was the quality of the food. Breakfast was so good, starting with a buffet for fresh fruit salad, cereals and pastries. Lovely hot menu including Excellent Creamy Porridge, Eggs Benedict and fresh fish, all freshly made to order which was quite evident. I have to comment on the Staff in the Restaurant who were so welcoming and really just lovely, they reminded me of what Irish Hospitality used to be famed for. Garryvoe is a beautiful Hotel inside and extremely relaxing. It has the benefits of the beach on its doorstep and Ballycotton and Ballymaloe about 10 mins away as other attractions. I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough and will definitely be back.

We 3 day stay in Garryvoe as we attended a wedding. It was brilliant, we had a spacious family room, excellent breakfast and the staff were wonderful. I left my headphones in the pool area and they knew there were mind and were returned to me. Would highly recommend!

We attended a wedding in this hotel and we were very impressed with the service we experienced for the whole stay, friendly and efficient staff, very good food, lovely location. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend to others.

Went with 2 friends had a room with triple beds which were great, dinner at the restaursnt was very good as was brrakfast. Definitely would stay again. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location next to the beach, recommend this hotel.

Garryvoe is a very nice hotel located just a few mins walk from the sea coast. We stayed for 2 nights and we loved our comfy kind size bed and our room had everything what we needed for a comfortable stay.They have a great gym v nice swimming pool,sauna,steam room and hot tub outside which we really enjoyed. Young girl working at the gym is very nice shame I didn’t got her name she was super nice I think she’s a swimming instructor there.Overall staff were nice and approachable. The only reason why it’s not 5* review is because their food is not great it’s overpriced for the quality they deliver.Breakfast is extremely poor we stayed for 2 nights first morning we had it but next morning we didn’t even bother as it was so basic v bland, dry and tasteless.Dinner was just ok I would not dine there again it’s better to take a drive out to Ballymaloe and have lunch/dinner there which was outstanding! Overall I would definitely come back and we definitely will however we would not eat in the property. Location is just amazing so relaxing hotel is also perfectly suited for families with kids.

We are just back from our family wedding we had 3 days of fabulous fun food and hospitality The staff at the hotel were amazing and so welcoming and polite and professional and the hospitality and service was super while all things that were done in the background made everything flow smoothly and made everyone feel at ease We had a wonderful glorious wedding celebration thanks to everyone involved all the staff From start to finish our welcome and wedding was an absolutes joy thanks to the dedication of the hotel staff Thanks to everyone involved in our experience
