One of the best hotels we visited in Fuerteventura. Tasty food, good drinks, swimming pool, comfortable bed, super clean. Really good vibe and nice staff, always ready to help you.

We had our honeymoon at the Alua Suites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect and we were so happy that we had chosen to upgrade to My Favourite Club; it was perfect, peaceful and so easy to enjoy a week away with all inclusive. The only reservation we had was that hot buffet food which wasn't quite hot enough but other than that the bar, the pool, the suite, the service, were all ideal. We will go again, hopefully very soon

Check in smooth, however room not ready at 3pm due to broken air conditioning. Air con, pretty useless for us too! Food, good choice. Breakfast great. Yes, there were queues, but this was expected as it was half term. We did eat out once. Drinks fine, tokens used, but you can get more tokens at reception if needed. More staff needed to serve drinks. Some self serve drinks available. We got the upgraded drink package on the last day as we complained about the awful smell outside room 5108! Couldn’t sit outside on terrace. Hotel too full to move our rooms (we asked on day 2). Weather perfect. Sun came out and it was hot. Nice walk to centre and market. Good location to see area and popcorn beach. Gardens well looked after. Pools busy, temperature fine when you get in. Reception staff - some helpful, some miserable and had attitude problem. Jet 2 rep did what he could for us. Ok holiday for us, went as a family of 4. We won’t return to this hotel.

Just got home after a week here and got to say I was disappointed with the hotel. Pools are too small for the number of guests, so sun loungers are far too close together. Rules about unused towels being removed if not used for a period of time are not adhered to. On arrival there were several issues in our room, lose plug socket and unfinished plastering on the balcony-these were rectified the following day but really took the shine of our holiday. In the days that followed we identified one light in the bedroom didn’t work, the bathroom window didn’t close and the lock fell off the bathroom door. Food wasn’t great either and only have full sugar soft drinks. Overall not a four star

We really enjoyed our stay at Alua Suites. This was our first experience of an all inclusive hotel and it surpassed our expectations. Our room was very clean, the food at the buffet food was tasty with a lot of choice, the pools were great and the staff went out of their way to help. We took part in some of the activities which were fun. The location of the hotel was good with a 20-30 minute walk into town along the beach front and a few minutes from "popcorn" beach. We hope to return again next year.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. They're so friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely and clean, bed is so comfortable I could stay there all day. I drink bacardi and diet coke and for the 1st time in ages, the local spirit and cola tastes lovely. No need to pay extra for the real thing. I have never seen so many different things at the buffet restaurant, they must spend ages in preparation. Lovely food too and the pool bar for lunch is great too. I've really fallen for the little dinky burgers, taste of the burger is lovely, just like when my mum made me them from all meat. I could waffle on for ages but I'm just going to enjoy the last few days of our holiday. Thoroughly recommend!

Sunshine in November. Great food and drinks served by professional staff, indeed the staff were great throughout. Had a couple of issues but were handled professionally by front of house. Great facilities, more pools than I care to mention, lots to do if you want and also close to the town centre which is a short walk along the beach. Plenty of activities should you want to do that with friendly staff.. Did I mention sunshine in November....

Can’t understand the negative comments about this hotel The staff in all areas were all polite and the place is spotless .the entertainment round the pool was great fun also the nightly entertainment I suppose you can’t please everyone As for the food varied and always hot both in the restaurant and the pool bar Special mention for the rooms we were in suite and wished I could have brought the bed home so comfortable

I booked a 5 day mini break with my daughter, and the resort was perfect for us. Quiet, really tidy and the food was good. Having read the other reviews I was a bit concerned but honestly, I can’t fault the food - always hot and a really good selection. I can understand that some people might be frustrated at the all inclusive drinks selection as sometimes there was a long queue for alcoholic drinks. This was down to it not being self service. They could improve by making the lager self serve, but it didn’t affect us as we just drank fruit juice and coffee which came from a dispenser and was delicious. The room was huge, everything worked and it was cleaned daily. It was away from the entertainment so was really peaceful. The pools were always clean with plenty of beds available. We used the tennis courts which were really good. The gym could do with opening an hour earlier maybe. The town itself was lovely, we always felt safe walking at night and the locals and shop staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back. A relaxing and stress free holiday.
