Sunwing Fañabe Beach

Just back from a 10 night holiday in Tenerife. Visited the Island a few times, but never stayed in Costa Adeje. Now that I've been, I probably won't go anywhere else. We booked a studio apartment, with a pool view for a family of 3. The only word to describe this hotel is fantastic. Literally everything about it. To start the location is perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to Fanabe Beach, with plenty bars and restaurants around. Our initial impressions of the hotel was that it was modern and clean. We received a very warm welcome from reception staff upon arrival. I didn't catch the gents name, who worked on the front desk, but he superb! Everytime we walked in and walked out of reception, he said hello. Absolute credit to the Sunwing! To be honest, all the staff were fabulous, especially Jose Carlos (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) who worked in the hotel restaurant/bar. He made such a huge effort with my wee one. My son is 4 and typically quite shy, but by the end of the holiday he was giving out high 5's. A true gem to the hotel. We booked bed and breakfast as we like to eat out. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice and always plentiful. We had dinner in the hotel a few nights, off the a la carte menu. Again food was lovely and reasonably priced. The pool area is spacious and clean. Always plenty of sun loungers. The kids club was great too! Lots for kids to do, should they need a bit of shade. Our apartment was lovely. Again modern, spacious and absolutely spotless! Comfy bed and a decent sized balcony. I could go on and on. If you are considering booking this hotel, do it! You won't be disappointed. We normally like to book different hotels, however when we return to Costa Adeje, we will most definitely be booking the Sunwing! 10/10.

We have just got back from an amazing holiday! This place is incredible, from the moment we set foot in this hotel we felt so welcomed. The first thing we noticed was that the foyer was spotless and the sofa’s to sit on were very comfortable. Everyone from the receptionist, maids, entertainment team and the staff in the dining room were absolutely lovely. Our room was very spacious and very clean with a pool facing view, our beds and towels were changed daily if requested but we didn’t need the sheets changing everyday so we used the do not disturb sign and just got clean towels from reception. The beds are the comfiest bed I’ve slept in, in Tenerife and the pillows were so soft and fluffy. The pool was surprisingly warm which I wasn’t expecting and there was lots of fun activities for our daughter to do. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis , the food was lovely, had a huge variety to choose from and my daughter loved how Lollo and Bernie came round every morning to see everyone. Couldn’t recommend enough. We will certainly be returning and this will be our go to hotel from now on, we are already looking into booking our next holiday here!! Any bad reviews couldn’t be more wrong.

We visited Sunwing Fanabe Beach for a family holiday - 2 adults, 2 children. We were a little worried reading the reviews about not having a pool facing room - but it wasn't a problem - with our big balcony overlooking C.Roma street with a partial sea view. The one bedroom suite was fantastic (with 2 bathrooms and a large size lounge with two pull-out beds for the children) and we wouldn't want to swap it for a studio. The types of rooms should be better advertised - there's little info online. The staff were a real credit to the hotel - friendly and helpful. In particular Angel - who was one of the nicest people we have ever met, making a new best friend in our 6 year old son! Angel should honestly be an ambassador for the hotel - the way he naturally interacts with all the guests. There was a club for kids over 8 which we only discovered on the final day, but worth checking out. The pool is basic but a good size, and our children really enjoyed using it every day - a bonus there's a lifeguard on duty. Plenty of choice with sunbeds - with staff (rightly) removing towels left on reserve pre-breakfast. Plenty of options with food - nice variety each evening. We were planning to eat out occasionally, but didn't need to in the end. We went all inclusive - whilst you couldn't have all drinks on offer at the bar, there was enough to keep us happy - including full cocktail menu - with quick service. The evening entertainment was the same in-house group each night - but they were brilliant fun. Different types of music and dance routines each night - sticking around to meet and speak to the children afterwards. Good location - just a minute or two from the beach and waterfront. Just a 10 minute drive to Siam Park, if that. If driving - we suggest hiring a small car as the car park was tough to negotiate having to avoid all the pillars. Great to have parking at the hotel though. We were allowed a late check out for a fee, which was fine as our flight wasn't until the evening. Would definitely recommend - and hope to visit again.

Just come back from a week in the Sunwing Fañabe beach. On arrival the hotel reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and check in was very quick We were on the 5th floor never a problem getting a lift as there are several located around the hotel. The too. Was extremely clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Food and drink in fridge as well arrived late and even though balcony faced the road noise was a minimum. Well equipped kitchenette even though we were all inclusive. My son and his family upgraded to a family suite which was huge facing the pool. Rooms were cleaned daily apart from Sunday and always left spotless. The whole of the hotel was extremely clean. The pool area was lovely and always loungers available as no reservations were allowed before 0930. Loads for the children to do if they wanted to join in. Food was plentiful with good choices my only criticism is it was often on the cold side. Great drink selection on the all inclusive including cocktails. Night entertainment want the best and the show bar was generally abit quite. Didn’t mind because we preferred to be out and about the resort. Would recommend the hotel and would return it was a fantastic holiday.

This hotel is brilliant for families the staff are all brilliant with the children and friendly,restaurant and bar staff work hard and the entertainment are brilliant At getting children involved and taking the mascots Bernie and Lollo around making sure all the kids get a high five and a hug. The entertainment at night was ok,again the 4 people that did the shows at night were brilliant at getting everyone involved and having a chat with the kids after. All the staff are a real credit to this hotel. Food could do with being a bit hotter and a bit more of meat variety. Breakfast was the best meal of the day…we were all inclusive but if we came back we would do bed and breakfast as food isn’t the best and hotel is in a good location to go out for food. When we first arrived we was given room 425 and my opinion is that this room needs locking off it’s like a dark prison cell with the bar across the road playing music till 3am. We spoke to reception and got moved the next morning and couldn’t believe how much better the room was and more like what we was expecting. The rooms are so spacious with everything you need. Air con isn’t great if you are like me and get hot bring a travel fan,I’m glad I did. Pool area is lovely and kept clean but does get busy at times. Male lifeguard is friendly and gets pool noodles ready to give the kids if they need them….Again a real asset to the hotel and I hope the staff get the appreciation that they deserve from management as they keep this hotel clean and running like clockwork and always with a friendly smile

We visited as a couple in May 2024. The reception area was spacious and bright and we were greeted warmly by the staff. The hotel layout takes some getting used to, especially if located near the back. We had to walk along three corridors and go up in a lift to get to our room. Navigation skills definitely required! We were on level 4, but given the hotel is on a hill, the room was at ground level. On arrival at our room, first impression was - this is huge! A spacious living room area and an equally spacious bedroom. There were 2 sets of wardrobes available to us, with lots of hangers (unusual in Tenerife!). The kitchen area was well appointed with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and coffee machine. The bathroom was equally large with a powerful walk in shower. Small details like a good supply of toilet tissue added to the good feeling. Overall the room was spotless. We were all inclusive but really only had breakfast and lunch, preferring to wander into the resort to eat at night. There was plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The food was good quality if a little on the lukewarm side. Understandable with self service. The entire hotel was very clean and staff worked tirelessly to keep it that way. Daytime pool entertainment was well done by the team, especially when interacting with the children. Overall we found all staff to be very pleasant and willing to help. We would give 5 stars but for the fact we did find a couple of cockroaches in our room, the navigation in hotel and the lukewarm food. But definitely 4 stars plus from us.

Excellent hotel with modern rooms, Clean and spacious with small kitchen , Plenty of sunbeds with two extra sundecks, More of a family hotel with good facilities for children., Including kids club and teenager section.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff at all times were helpful and friendly

Our second time staying there, the hotel is an amazing family hotel! There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day to keep you and the little ones occupied. Staff are amazing and friendly and always engaged us with the adults and especially the kids, Nadia in the shop was so lovely to deal with and gave us loads of information about the islands! We found ourselves staying in the hotel for dinner a few nights to eat in the restaurant “Rosa’s Kitchen”. The food was excellent and the service exemplary, especially from Juan and Paco who really went out of their way for us. The night time entertainment is really good, the kids disco and then the show after is a nice wind down to the day, after the show the singers come out and talk to the guests and its really lovely to see how much time they spend talking to the kids, they even get them involved if the kids would like to go on stage at a couple of different shows. Thanks Max, Alma and Anna for getting out little one up on stage and for all the shows during the week! I would highly recommend the hotel if you are have young kids, its a great family holiday location, with plenty to see and do in the area.

Amazing location, not too far from a very busy area of bars and restaurants. We stayed in a suite which was very clean and spacious. My only criticism is the location of our accommodation, it was room 425 and was a long way from reception and quite hard to navigate how to get there. It had a huge balcony but unfortunately it was on a main st with music playing til 2am and the strongest smell of **** I’ve ever come across. I bought ear plugs and was oblivious after that. I was a little disappointed with the bar area , it never really had anyone sat there of an evening and no entertainment . I thought breakfast was quite poor , food was not hot and the choice of fruit was quite limited. Staff were amazing and the lovely lady on reception was super helpful. I would definitely stay here again but I would ask for a different room closer to reception and pool view.
