Laguna Park 1

Rooms really spacious, modern and clean. Rooms cleaned every 2 days. Plenty of sun beds round the pool. Staff polite and friendly. Hotel near bars restaurants and shopping places. A good cheap and cheerful break away I would return if the price was right.

9th May - 14th May 5 nights My experience was minimal room was cleaned every 2 days, staff were rude, good for a cheap stay, the pool was a positive, friendly for kids, the staff are not very accommodating to your needs, wanted better experiences.

Please ignore the reviews! We spent 2 weeks at this hotel and honestly… at first i was dreading it from what we read prior to our arrival but i was pleasantly surprised!When we arrived about 1pm our room was already ready! We booked a pool view room but we was on level 3 and we had the most fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean (as well as pool view), the room was fab very spacious with living and kitchen area! Bathroom was lovely, very spacious and our bedroom was also a really nice size! We had a fan in the living and bedroom area… air con really isnt not needed as the fans work fantastically. Cleaned every other day! Staff are super friendly and really welcoming! We were all inclusive and the first week we had no complaints about the food… i mean you get what you pay for but there was some tasty dishes… breakfast got a bit sameish… i think i had a fry up nearly every day as there was not too many options. Bacon was a bit like rubber and meat is cheap quality but overall cant complain for the price. Mexican night and curry night i think was by far the best! No entertainment for the kids which is a bit disappointing and the hall looks abit like something you see from the 70s! Would have been nice to have childrens disco or even a bit of bingo… just something for entertainment! However it didnt bother us too much as there was plenty of bars nearby. Pool area was decent! Music played til 6pm not too loud but enough to enjoy! Second week we did see a few cockroaches in the restaurant running across the tables and walls… it did slightly put us off eating there but to be honest you get cockroaches everywhere you go! We still continued to eat there and well… we are still alive lol! I would 100 percent go back! Maybe half board or self catering next time though! Great location! We had the most amazing holiday! Thank you Laguna Park! However please try sort entertainment side of things out! I was told my a member of staff they are under new management and stopped all entertainment! They used to do kids disco, animal shows, karaoke night and bingo and now absolutely nothing! Bring the hall back to life because you have a lovely hotel its a shame to bring it down on that side of things and nothing for the children to do! No activities! Also WIFI.. would be good to have WIFI in available in the rooms not just the reception. Antonetta ( i think thats how you spell your name)you are an angel! Thank you for being so lovely to my curly haired daughter as you kept saying such beautiful hair! You should get a pay rise!

We stayed on room only basis so we never eat in the hotel. The hotel was bigger than expected. The hotel was a little tired but the room was nice and cleaned every day. Our view was of the road across for a bar but bearable as we were out most days. The staff were great and very helpful. My big gripe was towels on sun beds by 8 all the beds were towelled up with no people to be seen. Hence we will not be back.

Me & my sister stayed here for a week. After looking at reviews we were a bit skeptical. But we loved it there. Apar**ent was lovely, clean, maids came in few times a week. We went half board, we were offered full board for extra €119 but declined. Breakfast was okay, but dinner was a bit hit & miss. I have food intolerances so found it hard to find foods to eat. Hotel does need lick of paint. But staff were friendly. Lady at front desk, with grey hair, was adorable, so helpful. Ramon the security guard was funny guy. We would go back to hotel but B&B. Close to all amenities.

Nice enough hotel. It’s listed as 3 star and I would agree. Rooms were clean and spacious. No air con so it was hot especially at night. You do get a fridge, kettle and microwave. No toiletries provided but there is a hairdryer. The food was fine - plenty choice, tasty and hot. Drinks were local but you could pay extra for premium if you wanted. Staff were friendly. Pool area was clean although the sunbeds were not the best. No pool towels provided and none available to buy although there are shops close by. We arrived late at night (around 11pm) and were told that there was no food available and if we wanted anything we had to find a shop or restaurant. Also when we checked out at noon we were told that the all inclusive was no longer available, even though our pick up time was not until 5pm. All in all, we wanted a cheap and cheerful shirt break (4 days) and we’re not disappointed.

Just returned from a Easter break at Laguna park 1 and in all honesty couldn't fault it. We went on a self catering basis and didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but our stay was great. Arrived before the designated check in time to be met by a lovely lady on reception who told us our room was ready and we could get in straight away. The room itself,a one bedroom apar**ent with pool view was great,very spacious with a fantastic balcony and large bathroom,it had everything we needed. The hotel itself could do with a lick of paint but you get what you pay for. Pool area was decent with plenty of sun beds,there was also a lifeguard on duty. The bar was adequate,a little dearer than those surrounding the property but not to expensive. The hotels in a great location with numerous bars and restaurants within easy reach as is the beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay 👍

Just arrived home from a week's stay here at Laguna Park 1. Was a bit worried before we went as reading the reviews they were very mixed, however we enjoyed our time here. So, we were a family of 9, aged from 12 to 75 and stayed here for 1 week all-inclusive during the first week in April. From the outside the hotel looked tidy, good location with plenty of shops and bars close by, and the beach and mariner were only about 10 minutes walk away. Reception area was nice and the staff friendly. We spoke with 3 reception staff members during our time here and all of them were happy, friendly and helpful. Check in is 4pm and we arrived slightly early and only 1 out of 4 rooms were ready, however this wasn't a problem as we were given our all inclusive bands, put our cases in the room that was ready and headed off for a drink and a snack. Note though there is a luggage room opposite the reception desk or they offered to store our cases behind the reception desk as the luggage room was quite full. Restaurant is small, and does get chaotic and busy but the food was fresh and although the choices were limited was still tasty with different theme each night. No show cooking as its too small but different meats each night, curry night, turkey, chicken, fish etc. Usual salad selection, potato's, soup, pasta etc. Drinks are all self serve in the restaurant with soft drinks, coffee, wines all on available. Beer is available if you ask one of the staff and they pour it behind the counter somewhere. Pudding/cake was not so good as mainly jelly, mousse and ice cream. Occasionally an apple pie or sponge cake makes an appearance but we ate fine. Lunch time you can use the restaurant or the outside snack bar. Outside is basically burgers, hotdogs, chips, nuggets etc. Pool bar is nice with selve serve area for all inclusive guests, serving soft drinks, beer, coffee etc. Or you can choose to be served drinks such as spirits/mixers, sangria etc. The staff again all seem happy and friendly. Pool area is really nice, no real sunbed wars going on here which was a welcome change, we went to breakfast at 9am and did towels on beds then and it was pretty chilled out. Plenty of cleaning and washing down in a morning which is nice to see. Pool itself is freezing, like the coldest pool I've been in. Might be because it was only April but it was sunny everyday and mid 20 'c so would have expected it to be a bit warmer. Was still nice to sit around and relax. Music was played during the day around the pool, wasn't loud, but enough to be heard wherever you sat and was just summery easy listening. Rooms are a good size and recently refurbished and we're fully equipped for those on self catering etc. Beds were quite comfy, bathroom was a decent size, balcony quite large. Shower was a nigh**are as it was either freezing or burning your skin off. There is no air con in the rooms, some rooms have ceiling fans but some don't, so although it was manageable in April I'm not sure what it

Overall good but sum of money stolen from our room. Reported on reception and we were told that more less this is out fault as we didn't put our wallets in the provided locker. Very disappointing that meme r of the stuff can take the money. Location great.
