This hotel is filthy full of drunken people smoking ******** and vomiting in the corridors Cheap it maybe however I guess you get what you pay for I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me l left two days into a five day stay

Don't go. You might be "lucky" and get a room as ours with bed bugs. I was bitten from first night, not knowing what it is. Then I realized/seen the bed bugs which made the vacation a nightmare. The staff was helpful and got me another room, but still after I have bites all over my body, I feel like that's nothing. Be careful Breakfast is nothing special basic things, but the restaurant needs a good renovation especially the tables and chairs, they're in a such a bad condition it's unbelievable.

I don't tend to write reviews on here very often but I feel that this hotel has been given plenty of unfair reviews and wanted to share my own experience. Firstly the hotel is indeed on a hill, but the photos show this so I'm unsure why people are surprised about it. If you have mobility issues, I would not recommend, but other than that, it's not thay bad. Everyone saying it's miles from anywhere... absolutely not a short walk down the hill and you are straight away by restaurants and a really nice sports bar. The rooms themselves, yes they may be dated but they are nice enough. It's not a 5 star resort, the rooms are basic but comfortable. We saw one cockroach, but given the environment and setting.. i have seen cockroaches in other resorts, it's no big deal. Safe included in the room is always a positive for me and no charge to use it. TV remote was a deposit but I can understand and no issues getting my money back. The pool was huge but I'm not going to lie, it was bludy freezing. However appreciated it after walking around and returning back for a dip. But honestly, it was like an ice bath but once in, very relaxing. Shame it was a salt water pool. Finally the staff. I have read how the staff have been unpleasant but quite frankly, I saw it from the other side. So many guests here where treating the stafd horrifically and speaking to them like dirt over trivial things such as the pool was cold or the steps of the hotel which quite frankly is not there fault, the photos show the hotel steps do your research first. When speaking with the staff, they almost seemed shocked to be spoken to properly. We had an issue with our safe and they were friendly and came down to the apartment within 15 minutes to resolve the issue. But I have to admit to those who have said they may not be too friendly, I dont think I would be very friendly if I spent most of my day being shouted at by drunk people over temperature of pools or the location of the hotel. Honestly for the price of the hotel and where it is. I found it well worth the money and would stay again.
