Iberostar Grand Salomé

Everything was perfect!!!!! The personnel, food, utilities…. 10/10! The location is also amazing. Sea views from any spot in the hotel, and the buffet is exceptional. Will be back!

My Wife and I spent 10 days at this wonderfully luxurious Hotel Earlier this month.This was our second visit and AGAIN didn’t disappoint. The Suite was so comfortable and clean. The Food in All areas was superb and of course the Bar was frequently visited and enjoyed. The pool scene is so laid back and no need to scramble for loungers, which is always a bonus.In a prime location with bars Restaurants and multiple Shops within a few minutes walk. But the highest praise is kept for the unbelievable Staff. Keen,attentive,knowledgeable and genuinely caring. A massive thanks goes to all but especially Vicky, Thais, Estephania, Nereida, Rebecca,Alexandra, Mossi and Fran the Butler. All a credit to Iberostar. Returning in June for 10 days. See you all soon.

Once again, our holiday at Salomé was absolutely outstanding in every detail. The room is superbly appointed with stunning views, the food and drinks are top quality and everywhere is immaculately clean and tidy. As always it is the staff that really make our visits so special and a big part of why we return time after time as they go above and beyond to ensure you have a fab stay. It was lovely to see Fran the butler back - he is the perfect man for the job. We would also like to mention Vicky, Jessica , Nemeida, Aramburu, Thais , Ruth and Mossi who are also outstanding as well as the superb Housekeeping, Gardeners, Pool staff and Chefs (Anthony) as well as the rest of the butler team. We will be back again in August - cannot wait!

Excellent hotel, great location and super choice of restaurant options. We celebrated a milestone birthday here with our family - wow ! Thank you too for ALL the hotel staff for looking after us so well, but particularly Alejandro in the pool area !

This was our ninth trip to stay in Costa Adeje with Iberostar, and our third trip to Grand Salome. Previously we had stayed at Anthelia. We were joined this time by our daughter who loves the “adult focus” at Salome as much as we do. We stayed from 12 April 2024 to 19 April 2024. This is a superb hotel; from the moment you arrive in the main reception and are greeted by the Salome butler team and offered your first glass of Cava. There is a beautiful scent throughout the hotel which always greets you, carried on the gentle breeze. The quick, stressless check-in process was sorted for us this time by Alejandro, who also took some special requests for our rooms. Fran organised for our luggage to arrive in our rooms and offered to talk us through the various facilities in our rooms, though not needed by us this time. Both very efficient. Our rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and made so every day. We much enjoy the main hotel buffet in Restaurant Zeus and on the first night, and actually, during the whole stay, ate there each evening. The choice of food options is perfect for whatever you feel like in the day, and there are food “themes” each day, such as, Mexican, Canarian, seafood, and sushi, as well as the extensive salad selection, and of course, you can grab yourself choices of different meats and fish from the grill, cooked to your order and taste. You can have as much or as little as you like. Rebekah was our host on a number of evenings in Zeus and remembered us from a previous visit…she was very friendly and super-efficient, not forgetting her fantastic sense of humour. We go on the “all inclusive” package which of course includes drinks, and the restaurant has access to a great selection of good wines, which are pretty much all available to Salome guests on the “inclusive package”. “Inclusive” in Salome also gives you access to all the restaurants on the property including Poseidon Gourmet and Portofino (Italian, at night and Canarian Grill during the day) as part of that package. We always had breakfast on the Mirador Terrace, overlooking the sea and the neighbouring island of La Gomera. A fine selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, fabulous Iberico ham and other meats, cheeses, as well as a selection from a further “a la carte” menu if wanted, and access to the main Zeus Restaurant for anything else you could possibly need. Taittinger champagne to wash it down (or Cava if preferred). Our preference during the day is Lagarto (a la carte) restaurant and bar next to the Salome pool area, which is staffed by an awesome team. It’s open all day from 10am to 11pm with lunch from 1pm to 4pm. The service around the pool is nonstop, with glasses of iced water being brought around to anyone who wants them at their poolside beds, fruit smoothies, cocktail of the day, and small “amuse bouche” before lunch and ice creams during the afternoon…if you want them! A fantastic place to stay for a full relaxation experience. Nothing is too much and every detail is thought of. The staff are attentive, the rooms and views breathtaking and the food is sublime. This is our 3rd visit and won’t be our last

I just wanted to pop a little review on here although I’m only on day 2 of my weeks holiday here. This hotel is definitely worthy of its 5 stars. The AI package is worth every penny. Food and drinks are excellent. Beautiful suites, the cleanliness and particularly the obliging, attentive staff. Each and every one of them are a credit to this hotel. NOTHING is too much trouble! After the dismal UK winter we wanted a week of warm weather and this hotel was perfect for us. Good restaurants, pleasant pool area, lovely room all contributed to our relaxing stay but best of all are the staff; we were greeted on arrival by the butler Claudia and she was a treasure throughout the week, everything from dealing with our luggage to sorting out dinner reservations, nothing was too much trouble. The same was true for the staff at breakfast and dinner, they are all so friendly and helpful. We definitely hope to return for another week.
