Villa las Flores

We booked this hotel as a budget getaway so we weren't expecting 5 stars but we didn't expect something so basic and dated with a total lack of facilities. There isn't a single drawer in the apartment. The wardrobe is very small and under the eaves and not suitable for 2 people for 14 days. No air con. No TV. There's nowhere to dry your clothes on the balcony. We only had WiFi for 1.5 days of the 14 day stay and despite numerous requests for it to be fixed it never was. We had a nocturnal bug infestation in the bathroom and again despite requesting this to be addressed it never was. There's no reception so everything is done through Whatsapp which is fine if things are addressed but nothing seemed to be addressed when I repeatedly messaged. The cleaning is very hit and miss, I left a dirty towel on the floor in the living room to ask for it to be changed, the cleaner hung it back up in the bathroom! We had a dirty bath mat and the cleaner rolled it up and put it back next to the shower instead of changing it. The shower is very small and housed in what feels like a cupboard and anyone over 6ft tall wouldn't fit in it! The shower tray filled with water every time you used it so it's probably clogged up with hair and gunk. The bakery downstairs opens at 8am and they start to get ready around 6:30am so you can expect quite a lot of banging and clanking as the walls are paper thin. The ramp up to the main door is crazy steep so it's not suitable to anyone with mobility issues, put some steps in! We had a late flight back so I asked if we could leave the suitcases in the communal area for a few hours after the 12pm checkout and the answer was no as our door code wouldn't work after the 12pm checkout time! Thanks for being so unhelpful and unaccommodating!! Luckily a bar we had been using stepped in to help us out and we left the 2 cases with them until we left later. Overall a bad experience. It is a budget place but if you have the choice or can afford to spend a little more then do that as there is far better accommodation on offer in Tenerife, this is definitely the worst accommodation we've stayed in on our numerous trips to Tenerife. The only positive thing I can say is that the view from the balcony was amazing, but that unfortunately could not make up for the horrendous issues we experienced.

So, I booked this gathering it was very basic but the location looked perfect for our short stay. We arrived to the tiniest room I have ever seen, so much so the bathroom door wouldn't close as the bed was too close to the bathroom so please bare in mind if going with people you are not super familiar with! The bathroom also had a pungent drainage smell on the first day but did seem to disappear from then on. we got over this however and just wanted to make the most of our trip so we enjoyed what we could and the location was well placed for everything we needed. However it came to me searching for a designer belt one day to realise it had gone missing from the room. I searched high and low and could not find it and I reached out to the team via whatsapp and was told someone will call and help me investigate, this never happened - I reached out again to check cameras and cctv as it was outside of our room to the owner then ringing me saying that the cleaner had been there for years - this doesn't help the fact that my belt has been robbed! He told me that he would watch the cameras himself, ask the cleaner and get back in touch. This never happened and he never even acknowledged it with an apologise or follow up. Really poor from them. I really didn't want to spend more time in the police station making statements as we were only there for a really short weekend trip however we did log it with them. Please be aware of this when booking this apartment that a cheap break can turn quite costly now I have to buy another belt!

I stayed here as a solo traveller, my first impression on seeing the place was it looked more like an open prison than an apartment complex. I got access to my room (106) and can only describe my 1st impression as shock at how basic and dated and dirty it was, there was sick on the outside of the toilet and the furniture was battered and worn, also the shower wasn’t attached to the wall and was very low pressure. The room was an absolute dump with no privacy. I got my head down at about 11.30pm only to be woken up by a large group of drunken males that were shouting and screaming at each other, the noise died down and then started again about 2am and was on and off until like 7am in the morning. The walls are paper thin and the rooms are all cramped together in a grubby little court yard. There is no onsite security, no reception and no way of reporting the noise so you just have to grin and bear it. I didn’t get any sleep and felt vulnerable so I decided I wouldnt stay there any longer, left after the 1st night. The whole place is horrible and grubby and doesn’t have a nice feeling about it at all. The whole code system they operate is open to abuse and was abused, the rooms are designed for 2 people and on more than 1 occasion I witnessed groups of like 6 males all coming and going from 1 room!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE ITS HORRIBLE, PAY A LITTLE MORE AND ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY!!! THIS GRUBBY LITTLE HOSTLE IS UNSAFE, DIRTY AND HAS NO ONSITE RECEPTION OR SECURITY!!! I have asked for a refund and been totally ignored!!!!

Room we had was awful needs to be updated it’s 2024 not 1974, so bad we left after two days. Positive note good location that’s about it about this place. Bars and restaurants close by. But the hotel it’s self looks fine from the outside but inside was a different story, We booked from these reviews and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, of this place.

Ideal location and so close to the beach restaurants and shops. Rooms were clean but very basic. Staff excellent and very helpful as we got un upgrade from inside room. There is noise from bars nearby but all went quiet at midnight. Rooms were cleaned every 2nd day as well as towels. Sheets every 3rd day. Sunbeds no longer on the terrace

Excellent bungalow, is like a home from home. The amenities is fabulous the terrace has a lovely table & chairs you can dine el fresco. It has 4 sun beds with a great hot tub, you can also go up the spiral stairs to a roof top solarium. The super king size bed is very comfy, & Wi-Fi is excellent. The tv has all the sky sports, but sports, sky movies & even local tv stations I.e. STV & BBC 1 Scotland.
