Iberostar Las Dalias

Our room on the 7th floor with gorgeous views perfect for us. Bathroom was just fine especially the walkin shower. Beds comfy and clean. Maid was so lovely and kind to us. Changed towels and clean room every day chocolates on our pillows. English channels. Restaurant beautiful amazing chefs&staff they work so hard. The amount of choice you can always find something to enjoy and deserts each day are fabulous. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks and cocktails. Adult area gorgeous at the pool.♡

Just back from an AMAZING 4 night break at this hotel. We booked with EasyJet holidays and everything from start to finish ran like clockwork, flights on time, transfers waiting for us etc, however the star of this show has to be the hotel, staff and food! On arrival, we had booked a sea view room, we were offered the chance to upgrade to a suite by the very helpful and pleasent receptio team, which we took. Exiting the lift the decor is a little dated but if you want to spend your holiday in the atrium then maybe this isnt the hotel for you ha! Once in the room we were VERY impressed, clean, spacious modern, comfy bed, immaculate bathroom but best of all, the suite had its own sun terrace, complete with sun umbrella, chairs and best of a all a large bucket sofa, the terrace looked over the pool area and out to sea, the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a drink in hand! Once settled it was time to explore, one thing that strikes you about this hotel is how clean it is, every area is spotless, especially the dining room. We were all inclusive and could not fault to food at all, lots to choose from, enough variety to try something different each night and very tasty indeed, staff in the dining room were amazing, always had a smile on their face and efficient in cleaning away your plates. In fact it was so good ive had to sign up to slimmers world on my return! The pool area is also very clean with lots of sunbeds to choose from, no problem it getting a bed, there is also a adult only area but we never used it as didnt feel the need to. And finally the entertainment team, WOW! the team are amazing, putting on activities throughout the day and also at night. There is no pressure to do anything, they just politily ask you if youd like to join in and if its a no, then they move on. Every single one of them clearly loves their jobs and it shows! They are happy, smiling and energetic, on our last night we were treated to show by the team which was a Mamma Mia/Grease show, and honestly, it wouldnt of looked out of place in the West End! what a show and what a holiday, we will be back!

I went solo (as a 30 year old female) and loved every moment! The staff were welcome, friendly and enthusiastic. There was a great choice of cocktails, the orange juice wasn’t watered down, coffee available all day and the drinks were in a plastic (not paper) cup. The food was lovely and there was food available all day. The pool area was kept clean and tidy. I went as birthday treat (to have a little break from my littles ones!) and the adults only section was lovely. The main pool was perfect for sunbathing a land reading a book. The room was clean and tidy, with a great view from the balcony. The location was great, close by to the beaches and shops.

I went with a friend (April 13-17). The hotel is at a good location. The room was a reasonable size. I didn't sleep well during my entire stay. It would benefit from air conditioning, better pillows and smart TV's, after a day you just want to lie on the bed and watch telly, which was a no go as all the channels were Spanish. The shower pressure was feeble, so better showers would be good. Despite it being all inclusive, you had to pay a deposit for towels, you do get this back though. You'll never go short of food, but some of the food is undercooked. The live entertainment would be better if it was indoors, as the sound booms throughout the complex to late at night, which is quite annoying. It was quite funny when they advertised a Michael Jackson tribute night, we went to see him, only he didn't show up, it was this high-concept Aquarian themed dance show, it was very confusing, and seemed rather inappropriate for children. The animation team perform on the stage daily for the children and you can get up to do karaoke. You can smoke on your balcony or on a spot at the back of the pool. The rooms would benefit from having a bin with bin bag included. The staff for the most part are all lovely. All in it was a relaxed holiday, the weather was glorious.

On arrival at the Las Dalias we went to our room which we had booked for a family of 3, unfortunately the room was very small which included 3 single beds with little space for anything else despite paying a considerable amount. We duly asked if we could be moved which the reception staff duly obliged and showed us a larger family room at a size you would expect for a family of 3. We had to pay quite ant additional amount for this room which was more fitting. The staff at the hotel were brilliant, they were all friendly and very accommodating and were a huge credit to the hotel. The food for all inclusive was good, with lots of choice, including 3 choices of grilled meat and fish and the food was replenished very regularly, without it going down to the last dregs. The entertainment was very good with various choices including the reception bar and main outside stage. All in all a very good hotel apart from the size of the initial room which was totally not fit for purpose and should not be sold so.

We have been to this hotel many times and meet repeat customers which says a lot. I was ill during our stay and the hotel arranged for a doctor who arrived within 20mins. As always the atmosphere with staff and entertainers is excellent . Food is varied but this time not the very highest quality we were used to. Its still better than many others. Rooms are comfortable if a bit tired but they are for sleeping so not a problem. I'm sure we will be returning again.

The Las Dalias is a very inclusive and family friendly hotel where the boundaries of all-you-can-eat and drink can be stretched far and wide! Location is pretty good, close to the seafront and local shops etc. For sure though the hotel is no 5-star resort, perhaps even more 3.5+ and in places does look a bit tired. Our family of 4 we had a family room, which was basically 2 interconnecting rooms, and this worked very well. The single beds in each of the rooms weren’t the most attractive and the TV didn’t work in one, but we slept well and everywhere was clean. It seems a bit odd that you must pay to use the safe in a hotel room and even more strange that after doing so to make it work you have to stick a bit of electrical cable in the back of it! Even worse is the cash only deposit that is required to get towels for the pool – we found we were able to pay for everything across the island electronically except this and had to get Euro’s out just for that (you’re then refunded in Euros at the end, but make sure you keep the ticket, or you will get told off!). You’re left thinking this hotel certainly does need some modernization and redesign of its processes and procedures. However, all the above is effectively minor ******* and we had a lovely week staying in the resort. The staff were super friendly, and the food with different themed nights was excellent. The entertainment staff (who seemed to work very long hours) went to great lengths to make everyone happy were fantastic and there were some nice touches like bringing drinks or ice creams round at the end of the day. It was nice for there not to be limits or restrictions on food & drink and the genuine focus to be on enjoyment.

Oh dear! We had come to expect a certain level from an Iberostar hotel, but this was not great. Firstly, the one strong positive about this hotel is the staff, who are generally very helpful and friendly and work very hard. From the cleaners through to the entertainment staff, they all put a shift in. Dani on the tour desk downstairs was also extremely helpful and full of information about the island. He helped up book a couple of day trips and a car. Unfortunately, we had to move room during our stay due to quite a few small cockroaches emerging from the bathroom shower drain. Of course, having moved room, we still had this problem on the new room, even though we had been moved up a floor. The hotel seems to have an infestation at the moment. The twin adjoining rooms themselves are really good for families, but a little dated. Hotel corridors and interior are very drab and the layout is awful. The kids arcade is grim. The battle for sunbeds commences at 7am sharp. Food is a single buffet restaurant with no option to eat outside. The variety of food was as you would expect from a 4* hotel of this size, but I noticed a few fairly serious health and safety implications. Food was not always hot and was often lukewarm having been left out. Cross contamination was also an issue. I saw a chef flip someone's cooked chicken onto a piece of raw chicken then just scoop it up and put it on the person's plate. Wow. If you are getting eggs here, make sure they are cooked through. The default mode for fried egg is half cooked. However, there are really nice salad options on offer usually and the deserts can be quite nice. Drinks are still self-service unfortunately. Make sure you sanitise as everything gets touched thousands of times. If you eat from the "snack bar" I think you are risking it. Especially with the burgers that are left in a tray all afternoon once cooked. Drinks at the hotel are largely "self-service". This means there is a beer tap that guests can use that serves an un-named beer as well as soft-drink taps. This kind of thing attracts a certain type of guest. I saw people falling over by midday. Mostly people around the 50-60 age bracket who as another reviewer aptly said, can only be described as "drunks". The cocktail menu is smallish, and unfortunately some of the cocktails are pre-mixed. The Mojito is decent and you can request Havana Club as they used cheap stuff by default. Lots of families seemed happy to let their kids roam all day and night whilst they get hammered on crappy beer. No thanks. Lots of shouting and slamming of doors in corridors around midnight. People swearing in front of kids at the pool. People vaping at the pool. People blasting music out of crappy speakers next to their sunbeds. You know the type. Sadly I thought Costa Adeje was a bit more upmarket. It's not. The whole area apart from the Del Duque area is a Brits-abroad paradise. This hotel is no exception.

We loved the hotel and had a lovely weekend away, the only things that were an issue were the cold pools - kids struggled to play for prolonged periods and the nightmare late night entertainment that went on to 11pm every night. Sounded ok from the room (except for the karaoke) but it so was loud there was no way you can sleep till it’s stopped.
