Los apartamentos serenity valen la pena. Muy nuevos y amplios. El desayuno podría mejorar, con algo de variedad saludable, todo era para público inglés. Y por mucho cartel que hubiera, a primera hora hamacas reservadas aunque no estuvieran en ellas en horas. Faltaría algo de supervisión en este sentido.

We recently returned from a wonderful week-long half board stay at Hotel Siroco in Costa Teguise. We stayed in the Serenity Area, marketed as the calm and relaxed part of the hotel with premium apartments. Our first-floor apartment was spotlessly clean, well-furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The living area with a kitchenette opened out to a balcony overlooking the pool, a view shared by all Serenity apartments (though some offer slightly better views depending on the angle). The apartment itself was well designed. The bathroom featured a beautiful shower with a constant supply of hot water, while the bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable bed, ample wardrobe space, and plenty of shelving. It was also nice to see plenty of plug sockets, which is often overlooked. The kitchen was stocked with useful amenities, including a kettle, toaster, electric coffee maker, two-ring hob and a fridge. While we didn’t use the hob, the kitchen was perfect for making tea, coffee, and occasionally some toast at lunchtime. A minor note: there’s no air conditioning, which could be an issue during hotter months, though we found the October night air to be comfortable. Fans are available for rent if needed. For secure storage, safes are available in the apartments for a fee of €15 per week, with a refundable deposit of €20. One of the standout features of Hotel Siroco was its impressive cleanliness and upkeep. The hotel staff were constantly maintaining the property, from painting to gardening to thorough cleaning. However, all of this was done so unobtrusively that it didn’t interfere with our holiday at all. It was refreshing to see a hotel so committed to maintaining its appearance. The Serenity Area’s pool is beautifully maintained, with ample space, greenery, and an inviting atmosphere. Sunbeds are chained overnight, but there were always plenty available once the pool opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which made for a relaxed experience without the early “dash for sunbeds.” We noticed that guests on the other area of the hotel would start claiming sunbeds around 9:50 a.m., standing by until the sunbeds were unchained. It’s possible that securing a sunbed could be more challenging on that side, but thankfully, this wasn’t an issue in the Serenity Area. As for the pool itself – yes, it was a bit cold on entry, but once you took the plunge, it was refreshing and perfect for cooling off from the sun. In fact, the cool water was quite invigorating! Both breakfast and dinner at Hotel Siroco were excellent. Breakfast offered everything from cereals, fruits and yogurts to pastries and a full fry-up. For dinner, the buffet had a wonderful selection each night, including salads, soups, and a variety of mains, with tempting desserts to finish. Not long come back from a stay at hotel siroco. And we had a lovely stay. We was in the serenity side and that was just beautiful. Our two bed appartment was spacious and had everything you would need for a nice stay. Pool area was very relaxing and had everything you needed. Food from the snack bar was nice and we had the buffet style breakfast and they had loads of things to select from. Staff are very welcoming. Would say the walk to the main area of the resort is about 15 -20 mins walk away depending on your walking ability. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Stayed for a 50th birthday on bed and breakfast basis with 3 rooms booked. Rooms clean and well equipped with self catering kitchen. Pool area clean with plenty sunbeds and staff great. Breakfast was good and overall value for money. Location also good.

I feel very disappointed with my experience after other reviews are so positive. First night we arrive (10pm) the room is sweltering. We went down to reception where they advised us to leave the windows open and seemed reluctant to give us a fan which they only loan out in week slots for €16. We are here for 10 days so have paid €32 to sleep in relative comfort. When I complained about price, dirt, rust and the noise of the blades hitting the cage, I just got the answer that they outsource them from another company and that’s how they are. I was not told about a deadline to repurchase the fan (as they only allow to rent it for 7 days at a time) and received a rude letter under my door stating ‘other families are waiting for it’. We got 2 shampoos and body wash on the Saturday we arrived which would have been enough to last us until Monday (maids only clean Monday, Wednesday and Friday) but we have not received any more in the 10 days we’ve stayed here. It was too much stress having to keep asking for more so had to spend money on buying shower products. The cleaning is adequate but there has been a few dead and alive insects and a drink spill stain that has been here from the people before us. It is dated which can come across as dirty such as the large orange stain around our sink. The shower was fine but fell off its hook onto your head when the water pressure wasn’t holding it up. The room is spacious but the furnishings are hard and uncomfortable. We are self board and are happy with the facilities regarding that. I didn’t use the pool as it is not heated like stated but teeth chattering cold, and often dirty. I didn’t have a problem getting sun loungers but found it ridiculous I had to wait til 10am to get one and that I had to lift it off the stack myself. There were a few days I had to help the elderly people lift them. When you get a bed it’s 50/50 as to whether it’s comfortable or you feel every bar through the fabric. The pool bar does decent food at a decent price but is not open for drinks until 12.30. Breakfast finishes at 10.30 so you have to go 2 hours without water, into the hottest part of the day. We have not had a decent internet connection since arriving. I’ve seen reviews where they claim there was a problem but they fixed it, they have not. Sometimes we can get internet in the living room but never in the bedroom. And when we do get internet it isn’t good or disconnects often. I did complain to the receptionist about much of the above but was told it was ‘not his fault’ and wasn’t offered any sort of help or compensation. I have been so upset and disappointed by the lack of care shown and the amount of extra money I have had to spend to make this hotel bearable.

We enjoyed our week at Sirocco. The apartments are spacious and clean. Yes a bit dated but not too bad and what you expect from a 3 star. Beds comfy and nice to get more than one pillow. We stayed B&B. No issues with choice/quality of food at breakfast. Good selection of bar drinks and snacks. All staff very friendly. Nice location for daily walks by the sea and out to local shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area and beds don't get released until 10am. The people hanging around to pounce spoilt it, but if you wanted a space by an umbrella you needed to get in early. Overall lovely week and would go back.
