Hotel Maison Rouge Cotonou

Words cannot give the experience one have going there. It is to me the best hotel in West Africa. From the Management to the cleaning staff is out of a differentvworld. I refuse to stay anywhere else when I go to Benin. Same with my colleagues. It have a small but excellent restaurant with food like home made and the hotel is my home away from home.

I satay at Maison Rouge since 2017. Basically every trip I have to Benin this is my preferred place to stay. It's like home away from home. The vest hotel in West Africa. Excellent food, sraf and rooms. I can withva open mind and hart refer anyone to stay here.

I go to this hotell whenever I go to Benin, and it's regularly. The rooms are exelent. The reception out of a different world. The food is amazing. There is 2 lovely pools. They pick toy from the airport and take you there again. Since I go there regularly everyone know me and it's like home away from home. Anyone going there will go back, and will not even opt to go to another hotel.

If you love art, you are in the right place! Petra the hostess has decorated the four houses of the property meticulously with a collection of oils, sculptures, and contemporary art to capture your modern imagination. Contemporary art is alive and Benin and it is on display here at the Maison Rouge. Every detail from breakfast to the pool (s) grounds is manicured exquisitely at this delightful boutique hotel – you will make a fine choice staying here.

This hotel was fantastic! I love Blue, the peacock that wanders the property. And Eva at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. My room was very cozy. The breakfast and dinner here were fantastic. The shuttle driver is great. And the location is convenient, very close to the airport. When I return to Cotonou, I will stay here.

We stayed in a second floor room above the pool where we could see the waves breaking on the beach. The accommodations are excellent and the staff goes above and beyond to please. French and English are spoken here. Lovely art pieces make the public rooms lively and interesting. Staff arranged for an English speaking driver to take us to Ouidah and Ganvie for tours with a guide. If you need an English speaking driver ask for Korssi—he also walked with me through the Dantokpa Market and the Artisanal Center. A breakfast buffet is included with eggs cooked to order. Each evening there is a 3 course special dinner but you can also order lighter fare off the menu. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Celine, and staff for making our time in Cotonou so memorable!

Nice place to stay.. Near to international airport around 5 min away. Safe to stay. Food is good.. breakfast is with fresh juices pancakes etc.. Swimming pool available.. Biggest super market is nearby and beach is at walkable distance from hotel.

J'y ai séjournée courant décembre 2021. Très beau cadre & de belles chambres à en couper le souffle. Par contre mauvais rapport qualité-prix au niveau des plats. Directrice Céline trop agressive & arrogante & Receptionniste Sylvestre manquant d'expériences & de professionnalisme.

Le gentillesse de l’accueil, le sourire des membres du personnel me fait penser qu’il est à la hauteur de ce magnifique hôtel de charme. Le plaisir que l’on ressent au milieu de cette décoration raffinée et élégante rivalise avec celui de la table lorsque l’on prend le temps de profiter des mets préparés. Pour le business ou le plaisir, une bonne adresse d’un bon qualité/prix ou l’on attend de pouvoir revenir !
