The room size itself is suffice and was comfortable. I must say the beds were very comfortable and will provide a good nights sleep. The room was clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was very pretty spot on and very tasty. The staff very very friendly and helpful.

Great property to stay at, in a quiet location just outside town. Restaurant was a great atmosphere with really good food

Booked through a 3rd party website but when we went to check out the final bill was much more than we were quoted on the 3rd party website. Hotel wouldn't provide a copy of the bill so that we could see where the discrepancy was and said they couldn't help sort it out, referring us back to the website. No joy with the website as we had lost our original booking number to log in, and this hotel wouldn't tell us the reference number for our booking. Also got down to breakfast and they were already clearing everything away about 20 mins before the advertised finish time for breakfast - one pastry left for 6 or 7 people - and they refused to bring any food back out. I really don't like to give bad reviews. I think this place might have been great to stay at if the staff were more friendly and cheery to deal with, but they all seemed sour and uncooperative, like they wanted to be anywhere else but at work, or at least not to be bothered by guests. I wonder what would cause that to happen.

The Croydon Hotel has exceptional staff always willing to assist, fabulous restaurant with high quality food, overall I would give this hotel 5stars

While the booking process was easy and the room looked modern that is where our positive experience ends. The bed and pillows were terrible and clearly very old, we could barely get in and out of the bathroom/toilet. When we went down for dinner we were told they were full and had to go elsewhere…no problems with this but why were we not told when we checked in an hour or so earlier. Then when we went for breakfast we were only ones there and staff we moving all the tables around making us feel like we were in the way. Very poor communication, very low comfort level and when we decided not to stay for a second night due to complete lack of sleep we were told they could not refund us and kept the second nights fee even though website says free cancellations! Their Moro is great rooms great service….they didn’t live up to either of these during our stay!

No complaints about our room except for no aircon or fans. Our room and the buildings hallways were extremely hot. We were lucky we were not on the ground floor and were able to leave our sliding door open out to the balcony. We got traffic noise but better than being too hot. It was awesome having a laundry on our level and no payment required. A staff member showed us how to send our luggage up to our level by a luggage lift. We enjoyed a meal, drink and game of pool at the local on site. The bar manager for the night Laura, was an excellent host to our group of 4. All staff that we came in contact were very nice.

Lovely hotel with nice restaurant and bar. Rooms were lovely and very quiet despite it being very busy when we were there.
