A great hotel. Centrally-located and convenient. The front desk staff were extraordinarily polite and tolerated my garbage French ( though their English was great). The room was comfortable and quiet. Housekeeping kept the room tidy and were very responsive to extra requests. After exploring and adventuring all day, it was a great place to come “home” to each evening.

It’s the third time that I have booked the Radisson Blu Sea Plaza in Dakar. The location is great on the Corniche Ouest, with a sea view and an outside pool. The front desk, as well as Papa Badara and the whole team are very kind and helpful. The tasty breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. I warmly recommend.

Architecturally stunning and well-located, this hotel - offering beautiful views of the Atlantic - is the best Dakar has to offer. The rooms are spacious and lovely. The grounds are lush. Three restaurants and an outdoor bar overlook the very large pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is definitely the place to stay when in Dakar but there are drawbacks. The hotel’s layout is confusing; to get from one end of the hotel to the other is a chore because one has to go to different levels. Elevators are unreliable. When we were here all room safes were out of order. Finally, there is a nice gym and spa, but only the gym is free for guests while the spa is not. There is a hefty US $50 charge for using the spa. The gym and spa are in the same area which makes the fee seem even more unreasonable for a hotel that aspires to world class standards.

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who lived here and she was right. Beautiful hotel with unbelievable views. Very clean and the staff were wonderful as well. Can’t wait to come back.

The rooms are okay but where this place shine is the pool and the bar area. Love love the bar and the pool. As for the bar Philippe and Oumar were the best bartender, ask for them to make you drinks. The atmosphere is laid back, great hospitality and service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sea Plaza. My room was great, had lovely sea views and the facilities were excellent. As a lone business traveller who speaks very limited French, all the hotel staff made me feel most welcome and I was looked after extremely well. The evening buffet meal was fantastic, particularly the out door barbecue. The hotel staff were very accomodating and the service was excellent. Thank you to Marie Noëlle, Sohkna and Elisabeth for looking after me so well at dinner. I am thoroughly looking forward to my next stay at the Sea Plaza.
