Floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning vistas, allowing you to enjoy panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake from your bed. The rooms are fully equipped and brand new, with soft and comfortable bedding. Attention to detail in the bathroom and appliances is evident, and the place is spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The guesthouse also features a charming little garden with lush greenery, providing numerous photo opportunities. The daily breakfast is made with fresh ingredients, offering a variety of delicious and light flavors. Waking up to a sea view while enjoying breakfast is incredibly therapeutic. The most breathtaking view is undoubtedly at sunset. Sitting in the garden viewing area, the entire lake is bathed in the orange-pink hues of the setting sun, the afterglow spreading across the Cangshan Mountains, and a gentle breeze caresses your face—a tranquil and romantic experience that washes away all travel fatigue. The butler service is warm and attentive, responding promptly to any needs, ensuring a completely undisturbed experience. Whether it's a short break or a more in-depth vacation, this place is perfect. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Dali, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see the stunning sunset over Erhai Lake!

Warm Light by Erhai Lake Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts. Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along? We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had. The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word. Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter. Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. Even though traveling during Chinese New Year can be exhausting, as soon as we opened the window in our room at this B&B and saw the unbeatable sunset over the ocean, it was all worth it! The room has a Mediterranean style, and there's a chapel-like rooftop right next to our third-floor room, which is perfect for couples to take photos. We really appreciated the complimentary travel photoshoot and the beautiful, ethereal outfits provided – such great value! The two housekeepers were incredibly attentive; they helped with our luggage, and afternoon tea and breakfast were prepared whenever we requested them. The room was very clean and even came with a washing machine and garment steamer, which was super convenient!

I booked the room for my two daughters who travelled to Dali alone. The owner had arranged someone to pick them up. My girls loved the place and the staff were all lovely. The rooms itself was large, with a huge bed and balcony. It was super clean and my daughters were very impressed but the design. They were also very grateful the owner organised a car and tour guide for them for a very reasonable price at the last minute. The breakfast was quite authentic and freshly made and they even had homemade chilli sauce with fruit and milk.

This is a hotel that exudes ultimate luxury. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're awestruck by its grandeur. The marble floors gleam like mirrors, the crystal chandeliers are dazzling, and every décor exudes nobility and elegance. The rooms are spacious and bright, exquisitely furnished, with bedding made from the finest fabrics, smooth as silk. The bathrooms feature high-end amenities and a separate bathtub, allowing you to indulge in a comfortable bath after a long journey. The hotel service is impeccable; every staff member acts like a well-trained butler, attending to every detail of the guest's needs. Staying here is not just a pleasure, but a symbol of status.

Service: The boss is an amiable uncle. When I arrived, I was alone. He would enthusiastically introduce us to the fun of Dali. In the evening, I said that I might come back at one or two o'clock. I was afraid that it would be closed. Let him not close it. He said no. This dispels my concerns, but I am still there. Worried about closing the door, he kept telling me to pay attention to safety, which made me very touched, and when I left, I asked him to write me a message book (Figure 1) Facilities: Classic Bai courtyard, simple and elegant without losing dignity, there is a coffee table at the door where you can drink tea with the boss, there is air conditioning and variable light mirror inside the room Hygiene: The sanitation of this homestay is really nothing to say. The four floors are all cleaned by the boss. This is the cleanest homestay I have ever stayed in. Environment: From the alley is the Bohai Sea, very beautiful, you can find a store on the side to drink coffee and enjoy life. Finally, I hope the boss's business is booming and all the best!

We drove from Guizhou to Dali, Yunnan. The Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake are incredibly beautiful. To get a panoramic view, you really need to stay in a hotel along the Hai East Coastal Road. I searched online for ages before finding this place called 'Dali Langyue Hotel.' I was hesitant at first because the rating was only 4.6, which seemed a bit low. However, I noticed they had plenty of rooms available, so we decided to check it out in person before making a decision. I'm so glad we did because it exceeded all my expectations! First, there's parking right outside the hotel, and a parking lot nearby, which is incredibly convenient for self-driving tourists. It's also super affordable, only 10 RMB for 24 hours. The location is perfect for exploring the coastal road, and the service is genuinely warm and straightforward, with no hidden tricks. Second, the hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The rooms have windows, and the glass is sparkling clean. The bedding is fresh and comfortable, and every little corner is impeccably maintained – truly a high-quality standard. The hotel has four floors and an elevator. I honestly feel this hotel's previous low rating was unfair. Their service quality and attitude are truly excellent, beyond words. Third, the hotel is very reasonably priced, much cheaper than similar hotels. So, my advice to everyone is not to rely solely on ratings when booking a hotel; it's essential to do some on-site research. After seeing it, we decided to stay, and our experience was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept so well, waking up naturally to the beautiful view of Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake right outside my window. It was truly breathtaking. My real-life experience confirmed that it offers great value for money. The environment is very clean and beautiful, the garden is lovely, and the breakfast is also excellent. It's important to look at all the reviews, not just the negative ones, because I've heard some people leave malicious bad reviews to try and get something from the hotel. So, don't just look at the overall score; read more comments. I highly recommend this place; I've already saved it and plan to recommend it to my friends. I'm giving this hotel a five-star rating!

Much better than the photo. No air conditioning, but not cold. No hot water in the morning. It is recommended to add disposable slippers. Rubber slippers are recommended to change to a clean look.

The room has a minimalist design with international brand furniture, including collector-grade sofas – I absolutely loved it! The attention to detail is remarkable, showing how much effort the owner and staff put in. The butler was warm and attentive, helping us plan our itinerary and book specialty restaurants. They even gave us homemade flower cakes when we left. Next time I'm in Dali, I'm definitely staying here again!
