I chose this guesthouse in Haidong, and it was so peaceful and relaxing in the evenings. The freshly made breakfast was delicious and authentic, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The ingredients were locally sourced and fresh, making me feel safe and secure. The surrounding courtyards were quiet and charming, full of the local small-town atmosphere. Overall, the value for money far exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to my closest friends and family. I'll definitely choose this place again for future travels. Choosing Muyun Tingfeng for our trip to Dali was absolutely the right decision! The 360° panoramic view offered breathtaking sights of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, right from our room. We could watch the stunning sunset while lying in bed, with the evening glow painting the lake – every photo we took was a beautiful, soul-healing masterpiece. The room was clean and tidy, with cozy and comfortable furnishings. The bedding was soft, and the toiletries were comprehensive. The floor-to-ceiling window viewing platform was definitely the highlight. The owner and staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive; check-in was quick, and they were very responsive to any requests we had, always with a kind and thorough attitude. The location was quiet and peaceful, away from the bustling crowds, creating a perfect vacation atmosphere. The facilities were complete, and the cleanliness details were impeccable – not a speck of dirt on the floors or in the bathrooms. Our stay here was truly relaxing; with a window opening up to the lake and mountains, it cured all our fatigue. Even when it rained, it felt particularly atmospheric. It offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Dali who wants to experience the sunset over Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dali!

The room was great, a twin room, very clean and hygienic. The facilities were comprehensive, and the TV automatically logged into VIP, so we could watch whatever TV shows or variety programs we wanted. The fourth-floor observation deck was beautiful, perfect for taking photos and watching the sunrise and sunset. The owner was also very kind. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we could eat as much fruit as we wanted. On our last day, we left very early, and they even prepared a simple breakfast for us. They also helped us contact the bus station to inquire about the next bus or if a bus had already departed. Overall, it was excellent. This was my second time staying there, and I returned because of the great experience. One more thing worth mentioning: I forgot to return the room card when I left and accidentally took it with me. The owner was incredibly understanding and told me it was fine and to just give it to the driver to return to her when they went back.

Dali Erhai's Stunning Guesthouse | Gentle Seas and Mountains Hidden in the Wind Heading to Dali, the luckiest thing was staying at this incredibly soothing sea-view guesthouse. With a 270° panoramic sea view, the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the entire Erhai Lake. Waking up to a thin mist rolling over the water in the morning, and watching the sunset kiss the Cangshan mountains in the evening, with the sea breeze drifting in through the window – all the dust and fatigue are gently smoothed away by the mountains and the sea. The guesthouse owner is incredibly kind and warm, approachable and thoughtful, patiently explaining everything. She makes you feel as comfortable as if you're with an old friend, bringing a sense of peace even when you're far from home. In the morning, nothing beats a bowl of the guesthouse's homemade rice noodles. The broth is savory and rich, with an authentic, flavorful taste that truly captures a sense of local life. A warm bowl of rice noodles, accompanied by the full view of Erhai Lake – it's simple and unpretentious, yet enough to heal an entire journey. Sleeping to the sound of the sea breeze, spending days amidst the mountains and sea – with healing scenery, warm hospitality, and comforting food, this was the most unforgettable stay in Dali. I genuinely recommend it to anyone heading to Erhai Lake.

This a very comfortable guesthouse with stunning sea views. The floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, making the view its biggest highlight. The interior decor is simple yet elegant, blending old and new styles without trying too hard to be 'instagrammable'. The spacious terrace is perfect for a peaceful cup of tea while cloud-gazing, which is incredibly therapeutic. The location is quiet and offers good privacy, free from noisy tourists, ideal for a slow-paced vacation. The service strikes a great balance – not overly enthusiastic, allowing you to quietly enjoy the sea and relax.

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! As soon as I entered the lobby, the environment was clean and grand. The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and handled the check-in process efficiently without any delays. The room was meticulously clean, with no dust even in the corners. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to catch a taxi. Overall, it's quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling!

The room exceeded my expectations – it was clean and beautiful. The host was incredibly welcoming, and there are two gentle and adorable cats at the property you can pet to your heart's content. Breakfast had a great variety, and you could communicate any specific requests. The dining times were also very flexible, so coming early or late was never an issue. The guesthouse is right next to Erhai Lake's Xiaoputuo, so you step out to amazing scenery, and it's super convenient to get to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

The rooms are spacious and bright, the sanitation is particularly in place, and the whole house is clean and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view of the sea view, and you can see the Bohai Sea while lying on the bed. The atmosphere is full. The store’s facilities are very intimate, there is free parking, the executive lounge also provides afternoon tea, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. The location is on the side of Xiaoputuo, the scenery is quiet and healing, it is convenient to drive by car, and the drive from the airport is also moderate. Come to Dali to see the sea and choose this one without stepping on thunder. I will stay here next time!

hotel staff is friendly and helped us carry our luggage up to our room. they had afternoon tea which we couldn't enjoy as we only stayed 1 night and had to leave in the morning. but the staff gave us some treats to take away when we checked out. the location is good on the east of the lake at 挖色 with a good view. see photos taken from nearby lakeside in the morning. the only down side of the room is it is very cold at night as it takes awhile to heat up the room. also, we probably won't stay near the lake next time during winter as it is very windy and cold to sightsee in this season. we rented a car for two days to see the two sides of the lake, but it was still too cold and 喜洲古镇 is so commercialized (ie scam for our driver to drop us off at the visitors group tour centre instead of at 忠义门, which is the entrance to the down, so it was too far to be walkable and we had to pay 80 (which includes shuttle, mini train and visit to 严家大院). West side of the lake is also very crowded, we couldn't even park at 龙龛码头，S 湾 had too many people to cycle safely even during the winter. so I wouldn't go back to Er Hai again, even during the summer. none of these the fault of the hotel, just Er Hai being over commercialized and nothing much to see in the winter with the cold wind and probably even more crowded in the simmer.

The hotel environment is absolutely stunning. We had a panoramic sea view, and opening the window revealed the sparkling Erhai Lake, which was atmospheric even on a cloudy day. The room was clean and tidy, elegantly furnished, and the bedding was very comfortable. The service was thoughtful and attentive; the staff were warm, friendly, and very responsive to all our requests. The surrounding area is quiet and pleasant, and you can walk to the seaside promenade. It's great value for money and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommended!
