The toilet backed up and management told me all customers have to use the plunger. Management REFUSED to fix toilet and REFUSED to move me to another room. I booked a 2 night stay and she gave me a room on the 2nd floor. I asked if there was ground floor room and she said there would be tomorrow. I am cool with that. So she tells me that the light on the door lock won’t come on and that I have to pushed down real hard and push the door in. It took me a couple of minutes, but I got the door open I go to take a shower and there are only hand towels and wash clothes. I go downstairs to get bath towels and she says I have to bring other towels before she can give me the oldest looking towels I have ever seen. Back up and down the stairs. So then I go to use the toilet and one of the hinges was broken. Darn near slid into the bathtub. Went to flush but it backed up. I was so tired…decided to deal with it the next day. I go downstairs the next day at 4pm (checkin time) move all my things into my car and go into office to “check in” to a ground floor room. The witch tells me that there are no rooms and that I needed to do this at check out time at 11am. Why didn’t she tell me that when I asked her the night before? There are only 5 cars in parking lot…how can all ground floor rooms be booked? Sigh. So then I tell her about toilet and she says I should have said something when manager was there at 11am. He is gone (it’s only 4pm). So I ask her who is going to fix /clean toilet? She says all customers use the plungers themselves. Apparently, toilets back up a lot at this hotel! tell her to refund my night’s stay and that I will go somewhere else. She says she can’t because it’s 4pm! And that if I wanted refund I had to checkout at 11am. MIND YOU…there was NO MAID SERVICE performed on this room…so it’s not like they paid the maid to clean. I called corporate(g9 hospitality ) to report this location and they listened to what I said and gave me a reference number. A REFERENCE NUMBER. Thank you very much. So there is zero accountability from this company. This location, as all Motel6 locations, are run by Indian nationalists. Their idea of customer service is “pay us and don’t expect us to be accountable”. It is a very sad day in America. The woman at the front desk is a liar she knew this room had problems and still checked me into this room (206). I do not recommend this location or any other motel6. You certainly don’t get what pay for.
